  Ignore the update, Podcasts is built into iOS 9, you can't update built-in apps on your iPad (except through iOS updates). (It's show due to: remove the built-in apps from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS beta 10 - Apple Support)

  If you have not all devices running older versions of iOS (or if you do, if you do not use Podcasts on them), you could remove the application from the My Apps from your iTunes library section so that the "update" to disappear.

  I have six different podcasts on iTunes. They are all created using the Wordpress plugin seriously Simple Podcasting (https://www.seriouslysimplepodcasting.com/). It allows me to create separate podcasts as much as I want with different signals. This problem is most RSS work perfectly, but we stopped updating.

  For what it's worth, I use Podba.se (http://podba.se/validate/) to validate my RSS. All streams validate correctly. The only problem is that the file size of the cover art could be smaller.

  The first two episodes of my podcast appeared fine on itunes, but the newest one seems do not introduce themselves! I checked with Wordpress (where I host RSS feeds blog) and I refreshed the stream of Podcast Connect. There is no problem on both ends, no idea why it does not appear?

  It is not really possible to comment unless you do not want to publish the URL of your feed two and the page of the shop - the latter can be found in control-click on the image of podcast (or where it should be) - and choosing "copy link".  Please include http:// in both cases to make clickable links.

  Your "title" tag is empty, where the 'no title' in iTunes. I can't advise on Powerpress but Shawngordo, who works for them, sometimes messages in the forum producing Podcasts and I asked guests to move this thread. (This forum is the best place to ask, on a podcast, you did yourself.)

• Stream Podcast shows of new episodes, but feed validators and subscribed itunes do not update

  Hello everyone, I ran a rather strange problem this morning during the release of my latest podcast episode.  When I publish a new episode, it appears in the flow, but it will not appear in itunes.  I know that there is a delay for the itunes store to show the episode but the episode shows when I check with a subscribed podcast app.

  Food seems to be OK, and the last episode appears when you subscribe in iTunes. As it was apparently published on 19, he should have appeared now.   I changed the description of my podcast, but the change is still not update in iTunes. My podcast started Soundcloud (I changed the description about 24 hours ago), but now it's hosted on Libsyn. I've updated description here and on Feedburner at least 72 hours ago. Is there somewhere else I might need to make the change? Not 100% sure which of these iTunes out of fill.

  Apple actually pulls your description of the summary tag - and NOT the description.

  To update your description in your libsyn account go to 'Destinations' and then click 'Edit' to classic libsyn to power.

  For the summary field - put in your new description and click Save.

  Before clicking on save - also be sure to select 'Explicit' for your show.  Go forward iTunes wants to see a show as clean or explicit.  And if you have an episode that is explicit - you should do the show as explicit.
