  If the application was not the AppWorld, then you must seek assistance from the place, you bought the app. But, if the application was purchased through AppWorld, then I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  4 AppWorld must close.

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

  The purchased app should now display as uninstalled, and you should be able to install it from there.

  I had a Bold 9780 for 12 months and locked, could not make or receive calls and been a phone very unreliable, it was provided by Phones 4U and the Vodafone network. After that the 3rd repair Phones 4U the replaced today with a Bold 9900 but guess what this phone the DELETE key and the P key do not work! So now, I have to send new yet another 2 weeks with no phone! Return with a 6 year old Nokia that never fails. My wife had to give birth in 3 weeks and was hoping to use my Blackberry for Email of new arrival photos.  I want to love Blackberry but feel very disappointed and hope I can get a phone job soon very disappointed by Blackberry.

  This looks like bad luck.  The only thing I can suggest is to go through the same process to get the unit repaired or replaced.  You can verify that these phones are brand new and not a refurb.

• Registration key of blackBerry Smartphones

  It's very frustrating.  I have purchased Ascendo DataVault this morning and installed.  He returned with a registration key and I copied it in memory.  I received a call and had to return briefly to home' to pull the top of Notepad and my flashlight locked requiring a reboot.  Once I did a battery pull, which of course killed the key.

  On the DataVault FAQ, they say that they send you the key in an email.  This is not true with AT & T, that is, you get a receipt but no registration key.

  I sent emails to the world BB (answer at the front desk) and Ascendo (their site of support of the BB world) unanswered.  The BB world there is no way (as far as I can see on the web site) to submit a question.  HOW can I GET a registration KEY?

  I'm not a customer happy and about ready to ask for a refund.  Can anyone help?

  Here's what I did (and the problem IS solved ):

  Finally, I got an e-mail back from the seller who directed me to the website App World.  This was not helpful, but they provided a phone number.  I contacted BB yesterday and they told me they couldn't help me because I paid for the application through my mobile provider.  So, I went back to the seller of the applications.

  Who has finally produced results and they sent me a new registration key this morning.  I inform BlackBerry that the information contained in the Ko was incorrect (both technical support and customer service).

  Recently, the volume buttons, pause/play, fast forward and rewind the media keys only work when I am on now playing screen while they were working on all other screens in the past; even when my phone is locked. I don't know why it's suddenly not working do not, can someone please help me to make them work again?

  I know it's been a few weeks that you posted this, but you never know!

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I'm trying to zoom in and out in camera mode using the volume keys and they do nothing. They work on the volume during the call so that they sometimes work + I can zoom in/out using the screen. Clues why they should be 'locked' to the camera app (or preferably, how do to unlock them!)

  They should work for zoom, try a motor to battery pull reboot and test again.

  Your best bet will be to hold your phone your carrier (Telus, correct?) to see what the cost might be, or just find a cell phone repair shop. One comment is that I don't know if you'll be able to get just the button 'P '. It is possible that a completely new keyboard may be required. Now, as a heads up, holding the phone your cost the carrier will likely the most difficulty.

  Recently, I noticed that my bbm "n" shortcut did not, all the other shortcuts like memo, calculator, etc. have been working well. I cross checked the "n" key on the message, e-mail etc., which works very well. It was obvious that the key is fine, probably thinking of the device is in need of an upgrade of the OS, I upgraded to 6.0.0.706 to the download site for the India BB software. Since then he has screwed my application of messaging and bbm on the device configuration. The problem started after I configured my device after the upgrade of the OS, without doing something fancy. Now, I am unable to work my e-mail installation or bbm.

Now the question is why would the upgrade of a simple bone cause me so many problems. I upgraded my phone several times since I bought it.
