Learn more about Send Offload LSO (Large)

Hi team Microsoft Forums, I just want to ask about Large Send Offload or LOS. I googled how to decrease your ping to the game and then I came across the Large Send Offload, it is enabled by default on Intel adapters and some article and the forum, which suggests, it should be disabled. I just want some clarification on what is the advantages and disadvantages of "LOS." Thanks in advance

P. S.

When I do a speedtest my saved ping is about 45, when I play in dota 2 my ping goes up like 140, before it is around 97. Any ideas? : D
