left click in the web browser options are disabled in the latest version

In all previous versions of firefox, I had no problem in the drop-down list when a left click to open a link in a new tab or save the highlighted text or even to save an image on my disk. But now with the last update (20.0.1) I came across something that bothers me by the length of the drop-down list (too long, too much stuff on it) and half the options are disabled, making it harder for me to surf the web that I used to do. I took a screenshot of my question. I hope this will help. In addition, that my OS is windows 7. http://www.darkworlds.se/images/other/firefx20bug.jpg

It is a problem to have an out-of-date version of Firebug, most likely you have disabled the automatic update of the addons.

The best way to fix it is to go to tools-> Addons and then clicking the wheel upwards button near the search box. From there you choose ' Check for Updates ' and unless you need specific versions of an add-on, choose "automatically updated addons ' while you there.

You will probably need to update Firebug twice, because it updates a version obsolete and from there to the newest one.

It's the solution, I came on as I had the same exact problem, I tried to create a new profile and tastes.

  • Holding the drawing rectangle left click on the screen - what is it?

On my desk and some Web pages, I can press the left mouse button, drag it, and he draws a rectangle - as it is to select a field. Release the mouse button the rectangle disappeared and wondering what it was all about. The area inside the rectangle is not highlighted in some way. However, when there is a picture (photo) on the page, SOMETIMES (without moving the mouse), the left click highlights the image in blue degraded even if the pointer is not on the image. It's like a painting - where the rectangle selects an area to be edited, only this doesn't give any options or menus to consider after the rectangle has been established - and then disappears with the release of the button. What is c?

    Hello

This design, and you don't have to worry about this. It's normal.

When we have a left-click on the desktop or any empty space (white) away from all the folders and drag it will show you a rectangle, also an area shaded inside the rectangle will appear.

The function of left click drag is to select so it continue to look the same.

  • Why my start page says "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! "when in fact I have the latest version?

I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, but I always get a message on my home page that says "you are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web! »

You can see this message under the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old default Firefox homepage. It seems that this page is no longer maintained by Google. You seem to have the latest version of Firefox.

If you want as the Google search page as homepage, change your homepage to Subject: House (a new version of the old homepage Google/Firefox update is now integrated into Firefox).

Not related to your question, but...

You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update if necessary:

  • Whenever I have press and hold to my left click on the mouse button, it automatically highlights everything from this point to the top of the page

Whenever I press and my left click without releasing, it atomically highlights everything from this point to the top of the page. Also, note if I'm now left click on the scroll bar, it goes back to the original location, even when I try to drag it upwards or downwards.

Open internet Explorer and the problem does not occur there.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

    • In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  • left-click on the icon of firefox in the taskbar displays a list of all the tabs. How to open just to the last tab?

I use the tab grouping feature a lot. It means that I have 100s of tabs open at any time.

The problem: once a switch between tab groups, the Firefox icon in the task bar changes in what looks like multiple echoes of the Firefox icon. I guess this is supposed to represent several groups of tabs.

Before the 20th of Firefox might click on the Firefox icon in the taskbar, and would come to the top and show the last tab, I worked on Firefox.

Since Firefox 20 a left click on the Firefox icon in the task bar now displays a list of the 28 tab + seemingly random tabs. Many of them said only: "Mozilla Firefox" instead of the site represented by this tab (because the tab has not been accessed recently).

To open Firefox to the last tab, that I worked on is now a real chore. I now have to choose one of these tabs 28 + (which is 99% of the time the tab bad), then switch to the Group of the appropriate tab and then find the tab I've worked on. It usually takes 5-10 clicks to get back to where I was before I've minimized Firefox, or before that Firefox has lost focus. (In the past I could simply click on the Firefox in the taskbar, and restored Firefox icon where I left last.)

How can I disable the list that is displayed when a left click or move the mouse over the Firefox icon in the taskbar? I would like the ability to minimize/restore Firefox by clicking on the Firefox icon in the taskbar, as it was in the past, do not get a choice of random tabs.

I think that I thought about it. Under OPTIONS > OPTIONS > TAB, uncheck the box for "Show glimpses of tab in the Windows task bar" and then click OK

  • I downloaded the latest version of Firefox 13 and all Web pages are displayed wrong

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox 13 after having quickly that I didn't have the latest version of Firefox. No Web page seems correct, including this one. All Web pages are displayed "plain." For example when I type in retail right now it takes a box or something to show me where to put space details - no box - only. I use Google as my home page. The Firefox logo was on the Google home page, but it is absent. When I go to Google Mail there is no checkboxes delete mail etc... when I go to the same pages using Internet Explorer pages display correctly if something's not on Firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox without deleting my personal settings etc, but this made no difference. If my only option is to delete all my info I should do, but have been on Firefox and really don't want to lose this info. I checked all the settings when I looked not all Web pages display correctly in HELP and all settings are correct. What should I do? I don't want to go back to using IE, but that's basically what I have to do right now to the function to make banking operations etc...

    You are welcome

  • On the home page that Firefox has a message that my firefox is not far, when I click on update and go to the web site of firefox it says that I'm on the latest version.

You are not on the latest version of Firefox. Update today to get the best of the Web!
Above is the message I get on my home page. The upgrade is highlighted today and when I click it I go to the Firefox page, and this page shows that I'm on the latest version. This happened since I updated to this version. I don't remember the date, that I have improved, but I think it was when it was only available.

It - http://www.google.com/firefox - is the old Page to start Firefox used by the Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, I do not think that it is maintained.

From version Firefox 4, Firefox uses a 'local' with the address Start Page of Subject: House. It looks like the old start Page, but this isn't exactly the same thing.

    Thanks in advance.

I got disabling the system restore, so I can't go back to a good version.

Turn off the system restore makes things much more difficult. Your problem is probably due to an inappropriate registry setting. You can restore your registry files manually to a previous point through the steps described below. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. You may reset your password to an earlier value.

Check the date of the file C:\Windows\System32\config\regback\System. It precedes the date when you became aware of your problem? If so, follow these steps:

    1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.

    2. Select repair in the menu that looks like this.

3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.

    4. Select repair when prompted.

    5. Select the command line in the menu that looks like this.

    6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
    DIR C:\Win*
    Dir D:\Win*
    dir E:\Win*
until you find the Windows folder.
    I'll call this "Q:" drive
    7 type these commands exactly:
    CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
    xcopy *. * Q:\MyRegBack\
    CD RegBack
    8 type these commands:
    copy software / y...
    /y copy system...
    /y copy Sam...
(the two points are part of each order)
    10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\MyRegBack to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

Muse is not up-to-date 7.4 to the latest version. Instead it takes me to a web page (http://www.adobe.com/products/muse.html! Older users are no longer supported unless we buy EVERYTHING? When I click on INSTALLER NOW (see image), I am redirected to the site. I don't want the full suite of products CC. What is a forced upgrade?

I had cant with the technical service. If anyone else facing this problem, you must now download Adobe Creative Cloud from here: Get Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App & Adobe Application Manager

Install it, sign in with the SAME log-in Adobe as the one you use for MUSE, then creative cloud will update to recognize that you pay for MUSE. Then you click on APPS and update it.
