Left mouse button

HP Pavilion dv4 - 1125nr Entertainment Notebook PC. I'm having a problem with my left button of the mouse. It seems to work all the time, but the metal top cover seems loose. In fact you can actually vibrate by tapping it. Someone had this problem? Does need a new switch or if something could be loose? PC is about 18 months old and has not had much use. I'm afraid that it will suddenly quit working altogether.

Hi all

Unfortunately I had my fixed left mouse mat after 9 months on light to moderate use.  At 13 months the same loose key question reappeared, but because it had been more than 90 days, HP wouldn't repair it without a load of nearly $ 300.  Our family has 5 laptop computers HP and 3 printers (of which 2 had problems hardware and software keep).  Today I'm going to order a Dell or Levono to replace this laptop - it became unusable for work (unable to use a mouse on a plane).

We have HP fans for a long time, but we finally decided to switch to a product with the best quality and support, including for well-known problems such as this.

If you have this problem with your laptop, try to get something in writing that they will load again (and) no additional charge because they know that it is often a recurrent problem, once it happened to your laptop.

    What should I do? It feels like a hardware problem, since I bought the laptop in November my laptop is still covered by the warranty.

    What you can do is to check the touchpad settings and make sure that everything is OK.

    Have you tried following this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315539 kb and the removal of all drivers (even the most 'ghosts' or greyed out) for the mouse who is or has been on your system? Sometimes, there is a driver that conflicted with the new that can cause this problem.

  • Execute while the left mouse button is pressed

    Hi all.

    I'm a super newb to Labview, but not to programming (who for years, C++ etc...)

    I have a project that I'm trying to do that I hope someone can point me to some tutorials or something.

    The idea is that I want to be able to press the left button of the mouse and a dial start to turn.  It will then stop when I release the mouse button.  I intend to put a "indiator" randomly around the dial where the user must stop, but not until they start by pressing the button.

    Attached, this is my code so far.  Very basic for some experts like you guys, but it's my first try at Labview.

    Thank you.

  • HP Probook 455 G1: Left mouse button is released

    I used my HP Probook 455 G1 for about 6 months. It has never been damaged or needed repairs until today, the left mouse click below the touchpad is completely detached. It is not broken or broken in some way, and I think that everything I have domechanism together - that is more easily said than done.  I am aware that my warranty is still valid, however, I am in school and do not have time to wait two weeks to get it repaired just before my exams! Any help is appreciated.   Attatched image shows the button (on the left), the parts of the mechanism and the gaping hole in my machine (right).

  • Left mouse button does not click anything

    Hey everybody,

    Firstly thank you for reading my question, anyway I have a problem with my mouse and wireless keyboard which is connected by a USB port. The keyboard works fine and types correctly but there is a problem with the mouse. The left button of the mouse that must click on everything isn't clicking. It installs and pointed out things, but nothing happened by clicking, I could still hear the sound when you click it but nothing happened, he just stayed. I have no idea on what it is, it could be the mouse (right button worked normally well) or I do not know if I pressed buttons, or a combination. I really need help, and I don't want to spoil anything else on my computer. I changed the mouse keys, so now I click on my left instead of right button, what do I do?

  • Let go of the left mouse button

    Hello

    I recently bought a HP Pavilion G6 1359ea about 6 months ago, and already the left button of the mouse of the laptop has become loose.

    It wobbles around when they are affected and it feels generally much more flexible than my right mouse button.

    I was wondering if anyone knows any methods to fix (i.e. He jumps or), or if I should send it to HP and if yes, how can I do this?
    (I still have plenty of factory warranty on it)

    Thank you for your help,
    James

    First of all welcome on the forums of axe!

    There are many things wrong with your mouse to the left button does not work. I suggest possibly making sure that there is nothing of clicking (e.g. dirt).

    And if you have a guarantee that I would come back, if not buy a replacement.

  • Left mouse button broken on satellite

    Hello

    the left button of the mouse on my laptop has broken pysically. I can place it in position and he always works, but obviously his loose and needs fixing, but I think there was something in the machine, some perhaps of clip that broke. The button itself looks very good. Is this repairable? and he isn't there something else I could try, I would not replace the laptop entry because of 1 stupid button.

    I did a google and nothing seems to come for this problem.

    Thank you

  • Left mouse button doesn't work is not on my laptop

    My left button of the mouse is suddenly no longer works on my laptop. Instead of the function of click, she appeared a little icon of 2 triangles with a dot in the Middle, and they were in the circle.  Instead of click, it scrolls vertically on the page.  Now, it does nothing when I click on the left button of the mouse.

    I checked my settings of the mouse and the left button is set to "Click" according to its function, not scroll or anything else. I just started this suddenly, doing without all the parameters being modified.

    Can someone please? It's driving me crazy. Thank you very much!

    PS - I have a Toshiba, but I think this is not the laptop, it's Vista (?)  Also, I have not installed anything recently, etc..

    Hello

    Try the system restore before that happened:

    How to make a Vista system restore
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-System-Restore-how.html
    ==========================================

    If necessary: (make sure that you have restarted at least once, if the above did not work)

    Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
    Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
    on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

    Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

    This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

    Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310575

    Then go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest touchpad drivers.

    Download - SAVE - go to where you put it-click on - RUN AS ADMIN.

    Toshiba downloads - access your model.

    Check with the manufacturer of system support, documentation in line, and/or forums he has probably shortened that
    enable and disable the touchpad functions.

    Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad entered)
    and some come with a utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock in the bottom right.

    I hope this helps.

    We have a Toshiba Satellite Pro T130-15F which presents a strange problem when any user logs on to the laptop and they try and use the left button of the mouse on the laptop it works like the right mouse button, if the laptop is not a left mouse button to work as a left and right work as right button.

    I tried to rebuild the laptop several times I tried also to restore the bios default settings, I would be very grateful if anyone has any ideas on this.

  • Updating of increment (ATTR_INCR_VALUE) a control digital while holding the mouse button

    Hallo,

    It is a problem with a digital command.

    I have a control that accepts a broad range of values: 0.01 to 60000.

    What I want to do is changing its incremental value according to the current range.

    So, if the value of the control is 2000.6000 to change it to 1000 stage, if it is less than 2000 but more than 200 - at the stage of 100 etc.

    The following code works if I change the value of the control with SIMPLE mouse clicks. But if I just press the left mouse button and hold it down, it does not work!

    Debugging of the shows, he correctly process events and passes to the attribute to (both) control. But change of ATTR_INCR_VALUE seems to have no influence until I release the mouse button.

    ------------------------------------

    int CVICALLBACK SetTint (int command face, int, int event, void * callbackData, int eventData1, int eventData2)

    switch (event)
    {
    case EVENT_VAL_CHANGED:
    GetCtrlVal (hMainPanel, MAINP_INTTIME, &fTint);)
    If (fTint > 2000,0) dIncValue = 1000.0;
    If ((fTint<=2000.0)&&(fTint>100.0)) dIncValue = 100.0;
    If ((fTint<=200.0)&&(fTint>20.0)) dIncValue = 10.0;
    If ((fTint<=20.0)&&(fTint>= 2.0)) dIncValue = 1.0;
    If ((fTint<2.0)&&(fTint>0.2)) dIncValue = 0.1;
    If (fTint<=0.2) dincvalue="">

    SetCtrlAttribute (hMainPanel, MAINP_INTTIME, ATTR_INCR_VALUE, dIncValue);
    break...

    -------------------------------------

    Addition of events such as

    case EVENT_COMMIT:
    case EVENT_LEFT_CLICK:
    case EVENT_VAL_CHANGED:
    GetCtrlVal (hMainPanel, MAINP_INTTIME, &fTint);...)

    does not help.

    Swallowing of events after the setting of the attribute as

    SetCtrlAttribute (hMainPanel, MAINP_INTTIME, ATTR_INCR_VALUE, dIncValue);
    Return 1;

    does not help.

    Things like-

    ProcessDrawEvents();
    ProcessSystemEvents();

    does not help also.

    Any other suggestions? :/
