  3. If you do not have a folder in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support then iTunes probably does nothing for you.  Maybe you have uninstalled iTunes, but something left me.

  4. If you no longer want or need iTunes, uninstall it completely by following the instructions below.  If after this you still get the error message at startup, download and install AutoRuns.  Leave the scan AutoRuns, and then click the connection tab.  Find the entry for Apple and remove the check mark from the box to the left of his line.

  5. If you want or need for iTunes, then after following the directions below, download and install iTunes from: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

  Delete this files (if present)

  Empty your temp directory:

  If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
  Tools > Folder Options > view tab

  Once this file is empty, restart the computer

  Download & install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility:

  64-bit operating system is better if your computer supports 4 GB or more of RAM.

• Return to Windows 7 Windows 10

  We turned on our Windows 7 computer this morning and the Windows 10 upgrade automatically starts.  We DID NOT want to upgrade!  When it got to the point to accept or decline the legal notice, we chose the decline.  He said it was restoring to Windows 7.  It is connected to a network.  The user has of worked in all programs for a few hours, then lost the network connection.  Print to the network printer was fine.  Electronic/Internet e-mail is fine.

  We have tried to re-mapping.  We tried to go back to a restore point before I did the 10 Windows, but they were all gone, only one point just before restoration and the network connection has been lost.  We have tried to return to this point, but still no access to the network.  It shows the reader, but with a red X.

  I think that happened with one of our other computers a couple of months, but we can't remember what we were doing to get back on the network.  Any suggestions?
