Length printed

Have /deskjet 2050 product no. CH350A, model J510a

When you print on paper 8.5 x 11, Printer series to 'letter', the machine prints only 10 3/16 inches long. If I have narrow margins I get them on the top and sides, but the bottom cut the last 2-3 lines of copy.  If I change 'legal' size of 8.5x13 paper, the last lines are printed. Is this normal? Thank you.

You are more than welcome, Tom! I am very happy to be of help and if there is anything else I can do I'm more than happy to help!

Good impression!

Kind regards

If the files logins.json or signons.sqlite and signons3.txt are fit and have no errors then Firefox will ask the MP and display names and passwords in password manager.
If this is not the case then best is start with fresh files and let Firefox create new files signons3.txt and logins.json.
In this case, you will have to resave all passwords.

You can try these commands in the Console browser (Firefox/tools > Web Developer):

    • Services.logins.getAllLogins () .length = > prints the number of readable connections only
    • Services.logins.countLogins ("", "", "") = > prints the number of connections, including connections not readable

  • Creating a book of poem/story in InDesign

    Hello

I normally work from layout simple but got a multiple page layout project in and wanted to ask for some advice.

    Project:

-65 page Word doc being transformed into related coverage probably sweet, printed professionally book

-customer not sure of the size or shape of the book they want, but I'm having this info soon

-creation of book cover and of article

-must provide .indd file a model for future volumes of this book of poem (creation of formatting and style sheets)

-some entries of poem 4 stanzas of line and stories are a page in length: printing at 12 points current Word doc

I know how to use InDesign and can understand what I don't know about the project. What I'm looking for advice on is the CORRECT WAY for the price of such a project.

WARNING: I am NOT advocating the easy way (i.e. a flat rate; hours > dollars).

I ask for someone who has experience with projects of long document to guide me in pricing correctly this project so that I will not do a disservice to our creative community as a whole by money undervaluation of my work. As we know, it is already a big problem if I want to help fix. I confess, I did a presentation of several pages of Cup of the projects (i.e. proposals etc.) in the past and I don't think I price them precisely as it could have been. So, I want first to right again with this project.

I also don't ask someone to take my hand from the beginning to the end. more if I ask WHAT ARE THE NORMAL LINE ITEMS for a project like this. I have a handle on what should be in line numbers, I just want to make sure I'm not anything.

Also, I was using a provider of print for awhile now, but they may not work well for this project, so if you have all of the recommendations of the print seller it would be great.

Price and print sellers vary from one country to another... where in the world are you?

Usually, it's a few hours x hourly rate

Or you could apply a daily rate and estimate the number of working days

    Roughly

initials 4 hours of work for design concepts based on 4 pages with 3 options for the design.

    Based on the chosen design

I think composition 4 pages in 15 minutes (or 16 pages per hour)

    CIRCA. 65 pages in 4 h 30 - rounds up to 5

Include things for proofing - half the original time +.

    7.5 hours

(+ 4 hours time from initial design)

    11.5 hours

(+ time included in any meetings + phone calls)

fresh impression + surcharge of 100% on printing (that you assume the risk for the printing company)

Remember, it takes time to digest and e-mail, store it logically in a filing system, then apply the changes, create a new event and send a new email.

This should all be included in the language audit costs.

  • Code to destroy annotations does not seem to be executed

    Hello

My PDF document contains JavaScript code that removes annotations as one of its initialization steps.  This is because the main body of the program creates many annotations.  If the user saves the document PDF (against the advice I provided), annotations created by just will all be saved in the document.  When the user opens the document, just kept annotations will be still there that the program will create new annotations that will be "superimposed" on existing annotations.

So, I added the standard code annotation-destroyed during the initialization of my JavaScript that everyone seems to use:

var annots = this.getAnnots ({nPage:0});})  my document has only 1 page

    If (annots! = null)

    {

Console.println ("Annots @ input =" + annots.length);  print the number of annotations to remove

    for (var i = 0; i < annots.length; i ++)

    Annots [i]. Destroy();

    }

The problem is that the above code is not executed during initialization, and the number of games embedded in the document annotation just climbing guard whenever I have to open/save the document.

I can force the JavaScript to be re-run as follows (in Acrobat 9):

Advanced > Document processing > sheet of JavaScripts...

This opens the dialog box "JavaScript functions".  When I close this dialog box, the JavaScript is rerun and the annotations are all removed as evidenced by console.println statement view annotations how are deleted.

So my question is: How can ensure me that the destructive code annotation is performed when I open the document each time?

Record/opening/closing the document 10 times, it will create 10 sets of annotations in document duplicate.  Only when I raise the "JavaScript functions" dialog box, and then close the 10 sets of annotations are cleared as evidenced by the statement of console.println.  Of course, my users based on Adobe Reader will not have this option.

I think that my question translates as: How to make sure that that the JavaScript engine correctly recognizes that there are pre-existing annotations when I open my PDF document?  Currently, this recognition seems to happen when I use the "JavaScript functions" dialog box for re - run my code.

Thanks for the ideas everyone has about my question!

    Dave

Try calling this.syncAnnotScan () before you run the rest of your code.

  • Designjet t1200 MFP: length Maximum of t1200 printer paper?

"We're trying to print a poster of long (150 '') on our T1200 but when we enter the length and width (150 ' x 36') he continues to change the 150 to 129 ', which is in the box greyed out under the length of the custom paper box.

The maximum length we can print on a T1200 is 129' or is there a way around this?  I read the manual, but it does not say what the maximum length of paper that you can configure in the menu custom.  At least, I didn't see it anywhere.

Also, I downloaded the driver to my computer earlier, just to see if the latest driver could have corrected it, and it's the same thing: gray area below the custom length box that says: "5.51 - 129.00.

Hard to believe that HP would put an arbitrary restriction on the length of the paper you can print on.  There must be a work around.

Thanks Mike.  Tried a couple of things and finally decided to use the 5500PS driver.  Works like a charm.   Maximum length is now 150 feet!

Mike, could you print past the 129 "max limit the driver t1300?

Only downside, is that it there is no roll selection on the 5500, since it is a single roller machine the the t1200 is double rolls.  It comes default roll 1.  But for the banner occasionally use of impression, it will work very well.  The rest of the time, we can use the original driver T1200 and not lose the roll option.

    So now I use the driver of 5500 on a 1055 C and a T1200, as a 5500PS.  A versatile driver I would say!

  • T790 Designjet: How to run roll print of unknown length?

I was sent a MS Visio file today. The file is a flowchart sales. I tried to print on a sheet of size D (24 "x 36"). Text is too small to read and size cutting a part of the chart. I need to know how to configure the printer to allow this flowchart to print 24 "wide roll entirely. There will be some trial and error to determine what size I need to print in order to read the text.

    Hello

Try to save the file as a PDF and print from Adobe.

Or. Create costume paper formats and look at the preview in Visio until u get the correct size.

There is also a preview before printing in the printer driver. Use it so u don't waste paper or ink.

  • 4.3 pages: how to print files of different text on the same page at the same time?

This concerns 4.3 Pages, I prefer.

I have written two different books, both with notes - one with a lot of notes.

I would like to print them both, at the same time, on a single page legal-size, 8 x 14. I can get.

I did this time in divvying up toward the top of the page itself and by running the paper into the printer twice - once for the top the half and, again, once for the lower half. It worked very well... but my printer is becoming tired! (former HP).

Recently, I tried to print the most complex book on top, with all the heavy notes, in a 'box' above. I managed to get this set only to discover that you are unable to print notes in a text box! Curses.

Unfortunately, through the raggedy of the time evolution, these books are more than a length. However, I know that I can squeeze and tweezers to them by giving them different sizes and depths of the page. Certainly, foreign and unknown.

Why the question is: is it possible to print simultaneously two different files (texts not only) on the same sheet of paper? Each of these texts has notes.

    Hi aws.

4.3 pages. It will work for you?

A single page with two columns

Insert a column break between the two versions. Notes appear on the same page.

    Kind regards

    Ian.

  • On the website of the Wall Street Journal, I am not able to print to the print format. Never had a problem before with this.

I click on the print icon in an article in the Wall Street Journal. A new window opens with the article in print. When I print, I get blank pages paginated, matching the length of the article. Corner of the page is displayed on the top left the title of the article; angle will appear on the top right, the web address of the article; on the lower left corner will appear the pagination; and on the lower right corner will be the date and time of printing. It's just how any article would print; the only difference is that I do not get the content of the printed article.
It started only a couple of days. I don't have this problem with other publications, but this problem does not exist with other browsers.

In case you have changed the default Page Setup scaled, make sure that shrink Print CheckBox is enabled before running the printable page.

  • text with a larger font for printing on paper of reflow

I visit the http://paragraf1.cappelendamm.no/c165513/sammendrag/vis.html?tid=205854 page and try to print it.

The result is "scaling to fit page', and has a very small font.
I can print in landscape mode, which solves the problem in this particular case, but I would like to be able to print in portrait mode.

If I feel 100% nationally, much of the text disappears to the right of the edge of paper.

I wish that it is a control to rearrange the text using large fonts without increasing the total width of the layout.

    Is there a way?

This site cleverly created which removes the first column of the table of three columns when you print a style sheet, but they neglected the fact that the width of the table is fixed in pixels for width too wide for portrait printing.

In this area and many other cases, you can manually 'hack' of the page to print better, but unfortunately, there is no single solution to this problem.

For example, in this case, you can remove the width setting of the table of three columns with a snippet of JavaScript code.

    (1) select the following script, and then copy it to the Clipboard:

    var tables=document.querySelectorAll("table"); for (var num=0; num<tables.length; num++){tables[num].removeAttribute("width");}

    (2) open the web console by pressing Ctrl + Shift + k (it's also in the Web Developer menu).

    (3) next to the circumflex accent (>) paste the line script and press ENTER to run it

(4), try to preview before printing to confirm that it worked. You can close the web console using the small "x" in the upper right corner of the pane, or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + k new.

I've always wanted an add-on that could attach to the top of any page to print, but because of the wide variety of page layouts, it is difficult to automate. For now, you can try one that allows you to add the page to the preview screen: Print Edit - Add - ons for Firefox. It takes some practice to select the correct element, but if you prefer really clean and usable prints, it might be worth investing a bit of time to learn it. Regarding the ' "smart printing, maybe one day!

  • My Officejet 4620 do not print black ink

I replaced the black cartridge on my Officejet 4620 with a new high-capacity HP cartridge and it won't print black ink on the test page, any application or function of Copier.  I have reset the printer nothing helps.  The ink level indicates that it recognizes the new cartridge and says it's full.  Black ink out of the cartridge when I put my finger against the exit hole.  I cleaned and aligned the print heads, but still no go.

just in case someone else has this problem, heres whats really past and heres how to fix this annoying problem. its relatively easy to do and more efficient than wasting money on a new printer or have that he repaired as most people eventually do.

going on what? the ink has clogged print heads and solidifies closed. the function of "clean print heads" the printer comes with doesn't have the ability to solve this problem. This feature is to clean the heads Sales, not clogged heads. Why hp decided to make this model without a simple to remove the cradle is beyond me, but fortunately the cradle out and can be cleaned with hot water.

theres a few items, you will need to get there easily, or you could just burst the branch loppers, like I did and vent your frustrations.

you will need: a pair of slender beak pliers, a screwdriver torx T9 (selling auto parts stores them for a few dollars), paper towels and a space for work (its easier to do this in a corner of a room, on a small table or floor).  Keep in mind that you are dealing with ink, then change your clothes right just in case and also catch a paper plate or a few sheets of paper to print to set ink cartridges while you work.

    (1) ok. lets start. !!! FIRST UNPLUG THE PRINTER RIGHT NOW, IF YOU DO NOT ACCIDENTALLY DIE BY ELECTROCUTION!  I forgot and when I started unscrewing the first 6 screws, kept chime jump and im like * beep *? I was impressed by the security measures hp took as model engineering.

    (2) the printer is now disconnected and then go to your corner your work surface and place the printer, so there is a wall or a barrier on the left, and also, a wall or a fence behind it. This just in front of her as if you were about to use it.

    (3) now, what you have to do, is to open the printer as you will change the ink and on the right side, there is a plastic guide that prevents opening all the way to the top. Look on the side and you'll notice that he could jump off with fingers. pop off and open it completely open, so you can get to the screws of the cover you would have prevented access to.

    (4) press the scanner part and the upper part against the back wall.

    (5) all the screws you will be remove are the size T9H torx screws. There are ten total. There are 2 black screws in the top of the forehead and then 4 black screws in the top of the back. Remove them and put them on your paper plate.

    (6) following is 1 screw silver short located under the Control Panel, use your finger and feel under the * button. Unscrew, place it on the paper plate.

    (7) depending on whether you want to remove the face/Control Panel to get in the last 3 screws so locate the illustrations on the top of the printer, there are 2 on the lower left and 5 at the bottom right (1 and 2 on the left explain removals of paper jam and 1-5 on the right then explain change in ink cartridges). then about half an inch South of the illustration of the number 5 on the lip, is a plastic stand. six inches to the left is an another then 6 inches to the left, under the number of the illustration 2 (remove the paper jam) is a third support. Unscrew using your nails. Flip it up just like the hood of the car, and eten on the main top of the printer, keep the flat wire which is connected to the frame of the control panel (if the flat wire jumped because you got too loud, then simply insert it in when you go back).

    (8) then unscrew the 3 long silver screws that are located under the Panel you just popped off the coast. There is 1 on the left and 2 on the side rightish. mix 'em on the paper plate.

    (9) now that all the screws are removed, take the Panel front and partially pop it back together.

    (10) then take all over (the part with the small illustrations and lift like a hood of car, ONLY THIS TIME OPEN IT LEFT and he balanced on the edge of the printer, to lean over towards the wall or an obstacle on your left.) MAKE SURE NOT TO PULL ON THE STRIP OF COLORFUL SON FRUITS LEFT AND ALSO THE FLAT BLACK WIRE CONNECTING PART SCANNING FOR THE MAIN OF THE PRINTER PART.

    (11) then take the pliers to tapered spout and remove the 2 silver tension springs located behind the printer cartridges. Pay attention to where they were attached so you remember where they go during the Assembly. take a picture with your phone if you have to, or simply re - understand it like I did. mix 'em on the paper plate.

    (12) then disconnect the 2 large flat wire and 1 small flatwire attached to the back of the ink cart. take a picture or can remember like I did. I guess bad things can happen if you reverse the on re-Assembly. Pick up the phone and take a picture of quik to be sure.

    (13) now remove the cart ink, cartridges and all, by lifting the front first.  Be careful of the transparent tape little there that moves the carriage from left to right and vice versa. you don't want to damage this little guy. now take the transport to your paper plate. not some ink or accidentally get it on your fingers without knowing or will make a mess.

    (14) remove the ink cartridges and put them on the paper plate, side ink to avoid a mess, these things sometimes drip. put the plate side. its time to clean the print heads.

    (15) then go to the sink, to the distribution of empty ink and turn on the hot water and then let the transport of empty ink sitting there with the water mainly through the clogged color screen (inspect and make you is not a small rubber seal surrounding the small screen, if there is do not waste it. I didn't look too closely and I don't think that hp has them but I have a few other printers). It will stain the sink but water ink he comes out to be sure. notice there is also a small circuit attached to it. don't bang it upward but getting wet does not matter.

    (16) continue to do this until the water is clear.

    (17) then use your finger and rub the screen gently with your finger and then rinse it, taking ink until the water is clear. This continues until there is no more ink and screens are clean. do it for all the colors just for good measures. the color of problem that would not print, you'll notice takes longer to clean than the other colors.

    (18) now look on the lower side of the transport. these strange looking things are the leaders. Rinse in hot water and dry them with paper towels. then flip it over and the breath on the side of the screen again. also between the screenside and heads (on the side of the transport) is an opening which is also probably gunked up. It blows with water too. Then, turn it over and wipe the head again. Repeat this step until no fades or until you are sick and tired.

    (19) shake, then use paper towels to dry the entire unit. Make sure that the device is dry.  especially inside the female plugs. blow inside or out dry hair and dry gently. do not stand there and melt the but with the blow dryer. but the sooner it dries less your ink cartridges, sitting on the paper plate will dry out. the custom of the ink dry quickly just do not take a NAP or go on a date until you're back with part of the ink.

    (20) now you have finished cleaning the heads and probably don't need to do it again for the length of time, it was because you bought the printer. and just as a roadtrip you used a map to navigate, you will use these instructions in reverse for reassembly. but keep in mind when re - insert the 3 flatwires that you disconnected from the back of the ink cart, make sure you that have small metal contact on the flatwires points (side male) inserted so they affect small metal contact points on the caps of transport (feminine) side. ALSO BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE BLACK FLATWIRE CONNECTING THE SCANNER PART PART HAND PRINTER. THERE IS A SMALL GROOVE IN THE PLASTIC WHERE IT CAN SIT TO GUARANTEE NO CRIMPAGE. USE IT. also make sure that the 2 hinges to the scanner portion/cover are placed correctly before the fixing of the top with the 6 black screws.

now raise the printer and reinstall the ink cartridges. then plug in the appliance and turn it on.  If you get notifications on the control panel telling the custom of transport move, then open the trunk and remove the ink cartridges, hustles and ensure that transport is installed and that the tensioner springs are in place correctly. Repeat the operation if necessary until notifications go away or just do a test print and do not take into account the notification if you messed with it a few times already. That's what happened to me and the notification went his own. Once its online, open the hp utility and press the button "clean the heads. do 2 x in a row and you will be in style, with colors extremely rich and "BOLD" and Yes, printed black raven.

    p. s.

You can always take your aggression out with tree limb loppers or Tin shears like I did and cut the plastic Center keeps you to transport directly outside. Completely eliminates the disassembly and reassembly. Make sure you DO NOT CUT THE TRANSPARENT TAPE THAT MOVES BACK AND FORTH TRANSPORT. This way the next time it happens it takes you only 10 minutes before you are upward and printing.

    Enjoy!  -Porf

    Hi @NeilLondon99.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you want to know if the 4523 Envy is able to print borderless. I would like to help.

In short, the answer is no.

  • LaserJet pro 400 color: Blue lines on the right side of the page when printing in color

When printing in color I get this blue line that occurs on the right side of the page. It is darkest near the edge and shoot low towards the printed part of the document. It is a vertical line that follows the entire length of the page. I printed a report of quality and it is always present. In my view, this indicates that it is a hardware issue, rather than software. Is there some rolls or the part that needs to be cleaned? Can you provide a link to the instructions?

    Thank you!

  • When you try to print, print poster page 6 instead of 1 page even when I checked the shrink for 1 box of page. Helps nothing in the layout.

When I try to go to print preview a web page that should pring on 1 page only, it shows that it will take 6 pages to print the web page. In page layout, I checked the therapist to adjust the width of the page box. On my laptop, s print preview the page correctly - 1. Something needs to be adjusted, but I can't find the answer when I click on file/Page Setup. Help, please.

    See this:

    http://KB.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages

Shrink to Fit only affects the width of the content, not length.

I think that your problem has to with the size of the paper selected in prefs printer via the button's properties. Probably an odd-ball small instead of Letter or A4 or a "custom" setting If it isn't, maybe that margins are set too large or margins are "b0rked" altogether and need to be reset.

Try of the reset described here:
