  For HARD drive: HDDScan using > select your HARD drive > build command line > your power settings. After you save your batch/cmd, start a plane of task!

My problem is that I can not change the brightness and contrast of the symbol in the logo. Is it possible to adjust the brightness and contrast of an object that is part of a vector? I need make a darker symbol and I tried change > change colors > saturate and adjusting the intensity to 100, but it does not darken. And I can't really spend extra money on plug-ins like Phantasm cs. Help, please.

  Press the middle button. This should bring up the screen Display (OSD).

  On the first point, photo, you should see a list of options on the right.

  Press the Center button to select this menu.

  Use the button on the right to select brightness.  Use the middle button to select.

  If you have XP OS, you must install the common modules first.
  It is very important that this driver would be installed before the other Toshiba Utilities.

  But generally it s necessary and indispensable to install all available Toshiba drivers and tools for you notebook series in the right order.
  I saw the Setup file instruction txt on the driver page.

  I can't adjust the brightness on my Thinkpad X 1 of Yoga. I ran all the updates driver, lenovo used and everything is up-to-date, including the BIOS. No matter what I do the brightness will either increase or decrease.

  It is stuck on its maximum intensity, so is not too bad, and I would be reluctant to send in for repair and lose a week or work to get it fixed. Anyone can suggest that might help the wise software?

  In response to the customer reports that the brightness of the screen can be controlled via a key entry on X 1 Yoga ThinkPad, Lenovo has released a fix. The patch is a registry change to restore this function.

  A permanent fix will be delivered with the Intel driver in a future release.

  I have been using my yoga 2 with an external monitor via micro-hdmi port, but a week ago, it stopped working. The monitor does not recognize laptop.   For external monitor, please try another cable and another screen if available or check if the cable and the screen work fine with other devices

  For brightness problem please try to go to under view Device Manager right click on the Intel driver cards and choose Properties
  On the driver tab, click roll back driver, if it is dimmed, try to download and install the driver from the link below

  Hello everyone. I just bought a new L540 with 8.1 of Windows x 64 on it and have met a problem that I see is apparently common. While my other Fn keys work as expected, I can't adjust the brightness of the screen with them. By pressing the buttons just does nothing and the laptop is in running at full brightness at any time, even on the battery. I installed the latest driver for managing power and from what I can tell, there is no version of the management software supply for something newer than Windows 7. I also installed the latest driver for the shortcut key (in fact, I installed all the latest drivers for this machine.) I read in another thread that this may be caused by the latest driver from Intel's HD graphics card but in fact, I can not install even this driver (said my system is not supported) so I always use the latest version of the driver Lenovo provided.

  Can someone please help with this? I want to be able to quickly adjust the brightness of the screen when it is on battery, but I can't do it right now. Thank you!

  I have the same problem with my L540. It started with the BIOS update to version 1.65. Because I have not found a solution, I went back to BIOS version 1.64, where all the brightness options are there and are working properly.

  You can download older versions. When on the page with the new drivers (http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS037285) go to BIOS driver 1.65, then choose "learn more." At the end of the next page, you will see all the old versions.

  You can install the version 1.64, you should choose the Option "Secure RollBack prévention" in the BIOS: restart the computer. When you see the option "to interrupt normal startup, press enter", press ENTER. Once more, press ENTER. Press F1 to enter BIOS Setup utility. Click on 'Security'-> then "update Bios UEFI Option'-> then"set RollBack prevention. " Change this option to "disabled". Press F10 to save the configuration changes and exit.

  After you restart Windows, you can install BIOS 1.64.

  Another possibility is to wait for the next version of BIOS...

  Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall your particular graphics driver (AMD, Nvidia, Intel etc.) - the procedure to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document in question on the link below.
