  Windows Mail sometimes/often stops when I use the spellchecker.  There is no obvious reason or a consistent trigger I can find.  I lost the email I typed.  I would prefer not to have to record every email in my drafts before I check spelling it.  How can I fix?

  Looks like you can have something in the background, interfere or that we would need to check the system for any problem files.

  The first thing you can do is to check your system for any possible infection such as a virus or spyware. Do a full scan of the system and see if you find infections and if yes which solves the problem that you are experiencing.

  The next thing to do would be to put yourself in a situation of clean boot to ensure that no background program interfere.

  1. Open the Start Menu
  2. Type msconfig in the Search box and press enter
  3. Click on continue in the UAC prompt
  4. On the general tab, click Selective startup.
  5. Under Selective startup, click on to clear the Load Startup items check box.
  6. Click on the Services tab, click to Select the hide all Microsoft Services check box and then click on disable all.
  7. Click OK.
  8. When you are prompted, click restart.
  9. After the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

  If that still does not solve the problem then let's you run the System File Checker.  It will scan all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

  1. Open the Start Menu
  2. Type the command prompt in the box start the search
  3. Right click on command prompt and select run as administrator
  4. Click on continue in the UAC prompt
  5. Type the following command and press enter:
     sfc/scannow

  I recommend to open Event Viewer and find the exact description of the error. The newspaper of errors in your next post relay.

  High temperature can be one of the many reasons why the laptop does not work correctly. You can check this by using like Everest Home Edition and similar diagnostic tools

  I have a problem that I can't solve. I run a project of RT on a PXI-8106 module using LV8.5. I used shared Variables to transfer data to and from my host computer for about 6 months with no problems. Recently I neeeded to the synchronization time RT with my host PC of time (to collect time-stamped data of the target RT) and I decided to use the "RT set time and Date.vi ' both before the beginning of each synchronization test.

  As soon as I started using this vi, I noticed that my shared variables would either stop updating, or slow down considerably (this includes loss of data during the transfer of data between the PXI to host PC with shared variable). I do not receive any errors or warnings from any of my shared variables, and no errors are generated when using the RT set time and Date vi, so im at a loss for where to start. Ive disabled this feature for now and my system works well again, but I want to get this to work because the timestamps generated in the data by the RT system are out and I need a method to synchronize the time with the host pc.
  Any ideas would be appreciated,

  Thanks for the info. I'll avoid upgrading to 8.5.1 at the moment so I'll just remove the VI. Instead, I create a 'elapsed time' timestamp which should do the job.

  I don t think that the player is responsible for the unexpected shutdown.
  In my opinion it s an overheating problem.
  Well, there could be several reasons for overheating problems, but usually dirt and dust inside the laptop is mainly responsible for overheating problems.
  I recommend to check the cooling modules if they can work properly and then try to clean.
  I use the vacuum cleaner to clean the fans on my laptop. Check this possibility.

The same notebook works in a Port Replicator II without any problem. My first thought was, the Replicator III may be damaged, but I tried with an another Tecra S1 and it worked! • How can I stop Firefox from sinking my IP when I use the proxy settings?

  So basically I use settings from manual proxy on Firefox from time to time to be more anonymous. These proxies are normally rather slow (but hey, it's the price for you to pay for anonymity). Sometimes I'll see a sudden leap of speed. I suspected that the proxy may not work for some reason any. So, I use a website that tells you that your IP address is to see if the proxy settings are really working. Of course when I update the site it gives me my real IP. I have check the proxy settings and it turns out that the browser was restored to use the proxy settings of the system (for some reason that is the default instead of no proxy). This happens randomly and why not apparently when I use the Manual proxy settings and it flees my IP every time that happens (and I never know when it does, unless I am very attentive). Is it possible to prevent him from returning to the system without no reason proxy settings? BTW, I tested the proxy in question after what is happening so it still works which preclude the possibility of the proxy does not (even if that were the case, I'd rather my IP don't Connect at all that the leak). So yes, any help in getting it to stop doing that would be nice.

  Hi internetman, in your system more than details it shows as active. It may or may not be something, but try to disable in case it makes a difference.

  If it is a laptop, I've heard of vertical and horizontal scrolling in the touch-pad works in Firefox.   I have a really, really strange bug. I have a LabVIEW VI that change a chain on a power supply. I have a start and a stop voltage and use a while loop to increment the device. For example if I want to scan from 1, 2V to 2.2 V in 0.2 V incremements, the program will end when "The current tension" = "stop the tension." And it works very well!

  However, when I start - 3 V and want to stop to say-0.8 (new in 0.2 V incremements) the program does not stop when "The current tension" = "stop the tension." I checked with the probe close to what should be the end of the race and - 0.8 V goes both of the entries ' equal to ' comaprison operator, but that his can't trigger a real result.

  It's very strange for me. Espeically as if I'm going - 0.8 V to-2 V but decrement of-0.2 V, the program stops correctly!

  I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-WX150 camera.

  When using an output HDMI cable to view the camera to a television screen, the video movie recording function to 3:00minutes exactly every time automatically stops.

  When there is no HDMI cable plugged into the camera, it records fine 20 minutes.

  I tried changing film formats, changing the power settings, camera reset the values by default, etc., but with no difference.

  If I understand correctly, when you use your TV as a monitor while video recording automatically stops and does not cross the entire 29 minutes. Based on your manual, it is normal for the camera when it is connected to another device via the HDMI cable. This serves as protection for the camera.
