    Hello BHASKARPIYA,

Product Key Finder programs, if someone advises to use, is found only on your operating system preinstalled a Levono multiple factory facilities and will be of no use in these circumstances.

You will need to contact Lenovo and request their assistance.

Or a way around this is to buy a Lenovo recovery DVD to reinstall the operating system or use the built-in recovery Partition containing an image of your OS and reinstall Windows like that.

No method requires a product key to be entered by you.

  • Lenovo G550 query... Urgent

I'm almost finalized on obtaining a G550 - the eldest cousin of the G530 notebook. I'll be racing through lenovo.com.

    Essentially on the Lenovo site,.

Go to Products > Notebooks > laptop Lenovo value line

You will see 3 different models for the G550. References to: Lenovo G550 - 29582CU, 29582DU and DRANK 29582

However, I do not know the difference in the technical characteristics of the different laptops Lenovo.

Main differences, that I could see:

    Lenovo G550 - 29582CU: Memory -2 GB PC3 - 8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1066 MHz & hard drive - 250 GB-5400 RPM

    Lenovo G550 - 29582DU: Memory -3 GB PC3 - 8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1066 MHz & hard drive - 250 GB-5400 RPM

    Lenovo G550 - 29582BU: Memory -4 GB PC3 - 8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1066 MHz & HDD - 320 GB-5400 RPM

Apart from that, is there a difference?

I plan to buy the G550-29582DU, but I need to know if she has a camera 1.3MP webcam and built-in bluetooth. The site of specifications does not appear to mention at all. Could someone please shed some light on this subject? Why is the lenovo site to the point?

I need this information urgent because I need to order the book by max tonight.

Then, you may need to issue of cooling. have you tried to do a clean install?

I have proposed to perform a clean installation to see if your question is any software or hardware. After this process, if your computer works well, it's ok, but not you may have a hardware problem, you will need to ship your computer laptop back to service support.

  • Alps, Lenovo G550 & windows Vista pointing device

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a lenovo G550 laptop with the following configuration:

    T6600(2.2GHz), 3 GB of RAM, 320 GB 5400 RPM HD, LCD 15.4 in 1366 x 768, Intel 4500MHD, CD-RW/DVD-RW, Broadcom 802.11bg wireless, Bluetooth, 10/100 Ethernet, Touchpad, camera, 6 c Li-ion, WinVista Home Basic 32

I have a problem with my tocuhpad. The touchpad in question is of the Alps. At the time wherever I have to connect the charger, the touchpad stops working & the cursor becomes static.

At the time wherever the charger is removed, the unit works normally.

I tried & updated the driver Alps several times, even tried with system restore to the day I bought my laptop. The problem still persists.

Pls suggest what needs to be done to solve this problem.

    Kind regards

    Abrams ' s_Maggi

Looks like that the isn'tcompatible touchpad with your version of Vista or if you have some sort of hardware problem.  Confirm the touchpad is compatible http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/ or from the manufacturer.  If this is the case, then it sounds like a hardware problem and you will need to place a claim under the guarantee, while it is still new and has a.  It's a USB device?  Have you tried a different USB port?  Confirmed that it does not reach all USB devices?  It's bluetooth, the same applies as far as confirmation of what other bluetooth devices is not the same problem.  It can also be a kind of hardware with the touchpad problem, but I don't see that as likely.

I can't think of something to see in Vista to this problem which you haven't already tried.  Well, maybe one or two things:

Try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

I hope this helps.  Keep me posted.

    Good luck!

  • Lenovo G550 does not load correctly.

    Well well, Hello to all.

I had a problem with my Lenovo G550 recently. It doesn't load properly and in most cases, I have to recharge it when it is off. When I start my laptop and as soon as I get the screen of Windows login (or not even up to the loading screen), the power led starts flashing. I log in to see the laptop not charging. I tried what you usually would, like turn the LAPTOP works after a period of time, remove the battery and put it in after a few minutes or maybe even an hour, check the charger, bring in and out of the computer laptop and even leave the rest of the laptop for some time without the charger or the battery in the. After all, sometimes even that, it seems that it still doesn't load. Sometimes it will load when turned on, though, does not charge for a few minutes and stops loading. Even when turned off, sometimes, it doesn't load correctly or the other.

If you know something that could solve this problem, a suggestion or if you know why I'm having this problem, just reply to this.

This problem has been resolved. My charger came with my laptop was indeed a problem. =/

  • G550 fan problem

Problem with the fan, is to turn upward and downwards, then very often. For example, when idling the rotations of fan for a 2 - 3 seconds and stops for a few seconds. This rotation up/down cycle keeps repeating.

This model has GeForce G 105 M graphics card.

GPU automatically lowers the clock speed when it is not needed. The speeds are (in slow motion):

    GPU core clock 169.0 MHz
    GPU shaders clock 338.0 MHz
    GPU memory clock 100.0 MHz

Processor can also reduce its clock speed & voltage. (Intel Pentium T4200). Other features are:

    Lenovo G550 15.6 "WXGA HD/T4200 / 4GB / 320 GB/Vista Home Premium.

Here are the listed temperatures (CPUID Hardware Monitor 1.1.4.0):

    Mainboard Vendor LENOVO
    Mainboard Model NITU1

    Temperature sensor 0 41°C (105°F) [0x29] (CPU)
    Temperature sensor 6 28°C (82°F) [0x1C] (Battery #1)

    ACPI hardware monitor
    Temperature sensor 0 41°C (105°F) [0xC46] (TZ00)

    Intel Pentium T4200 hardware monitor
    Temperature sensor 0 34°C (93°F) [0x42] (Core #0)
    Temperature sensor 1 34°C (93°F) [0x42] (Core #1)

    GeForce G 105M hardware monitor
    Temperature sensor 0 45°C (112°F) [0x2D] (GPU Core)

    Hitachi HTS543232L9A300 hardware monitor
    Temperature sensor 0 48°C (118°F) [0x30] (HDD)

Any ideas how to make the less active fan? Temperatures do not seem that height for me. I would like that the fan would turn only when really necessary. Anyone has the same model or similar problems with the fan?

The fan rotating when the load is greater. So no problems with that.

  • Stuck on Windows Vista with Lenovo G550?

Hi, I am experiencing a problem that makes me not really get angry at the Service of clients from Lenovo and Microsoft at the same time. I use a G550 with Celeron 1.8 GHz CPU and 2 GB DDR RAM with HDD of 250 GB and G4500 Graphics

    Here is my problem:

I was very happy when buying my laptop and couldn't wait to install Windows 7 on it. As I did, I realized very quickly that there are major problems with Windows 7 on my laptop, and I was not able to run my software. Games would not be executed, the programs would be would break and I felt duped in a way. That of why I thought then about XP, which is a very simple OS, but would at least run all my software on this laptop that I just bought. So I installed XP and I couldn't find all the drivers I needed, I was not able to run my WIreless LAN-network and in XP total is a piece of 9 years, of the software, which has many security problems and wont be adapted to a new laptop in this price category. I mean I spent $ 500 on this laptop, and then I find myself running XP on it? No thanks!

So I switched to Vista, that was my last hope, and that would go at least my applications, not the crash and updatable. And at least I could really use the ease of this laptop on Vista. But one thing that makes me really crazy crazy, is that I am lucky to have the worst performance with Windows Vista. I run SP2, needs renewed start as 40seconds without logon. Another extra 20 seconds for the loading of all auto-start programs (which are just that anti-virus and the usual system stuff). I have to be stuck on Windows Vista forever? I have so many problems with this operating system, but anyway its just more convenient than the old dusty XP and windows7 new crashy. Is it really this bad, that after having spent hundreds of dollars on a new laptop that I have to paste vista ot, to stay updated and use my old programs including windows 7 just does not work?

I think that his little irony that Microsoft does not solve their problems of incompatibility with computers laptops lenovo, and that Lenovo doesn't problems, that the experience of their customers.

I was very much surprised when I bought this laptop until I realized the problems such as:

    Disc turn al the time

    Incompatibility with Win7

Driver problems on the old operating system like XP

I think that lenovo ows really a statement and Microsoft should really tell us what we're going to get before we buy it. Money doesn't grow on trees, and I am not willing to spend much money on BONES and laptops which later used to work properly.

What do you think about that?

    Mahdi

Hello... If the machine works fine now quiet... so do not touch

but I prefer to save... .on usb drive... If you have a seatbelt, if something goes wrong with it...

  • Resolution of the webcam problems

    Hi all

I finally decided me coming here on a resolution of the webcam problem: since Skype updates that followed the 6.2 version, I can't simply a resolution on my bodily proportions. In other words, I think that Skype automatically assigns to a resolution of 1280 x 720, which makes my head like a balloon look hot air (not really convenient for job interviews, I must say). And Skype seem not to care about changes in resolution, as I do in the file "config.xml". Any idea to solve this problem? I really want to be myself again.

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi guys, we have made some changes to fix the problem with the BisonCam, NB Pro cameras. Can you please restart your last client Skype for Windows Desktop (6.11) and see if now BisonCam Nb Pro works? Thanks in advance

  • ProBook 4530: Problem installing Ubuntu 14.04 Destkop on hp probook 4530 s

Currently I am running windows 8.1(64x) on my pc and I want to install ubuntu along side with windows, but I'm having a problem of Ubuntu startup process. I write Ubuntu 14.04.2 on my USB when I try to boot my system through a black screen appears nothing will happen, even if I correctly write Ubunt 14.04.2 on my flash, but what is the problem in the USB key boot process I don't know someone can help me on this issue

You need to know if your laptop starts in legacy mode or UEFI mode now, and then your best bet is to start Ubuntu in the same mode. If the original system is Windows 8 or 8.1 then it is most certainly the UEFI. Otherwise you never changed, and it's almost certainly legacy.

If you want to be sure: type x and select disk management. In the window that appears, it should be a field with all partitions arranged side by side. On my UEFI system, there are a 100 MB partition which says "Healthy (EFI System Partition)" when the mouse pointer is above it.

With the RUFUS (http://rufus.akeo.ie/) utility, you can choose if the USB key must start in UEFI - or legacy mode.
