Lenovo m93P update Wifi card

Hello, I have a problem with the new card wifi of instalation on my PC. I bought the Intel Wireless N 1000 card, (what is a wifi supported at M93p card) but after the instalation I tried to turn on the PC, but on the screen was displayed the map "error 1802 Chrages network".
Does anyone know what is the problem?

Thank you

Martin

Your Intel Wireless N 1000 is in the white list in the Bios.

You must order a card in the specifications of Lenovo, mentioned above.

I decided to upgrade WiFi modem to my laptop at the more recent. So, I checked the hardware maintenance manual for my laptop for the necessary equipment and discovered that the best option would be "WLAN card, 802.11a/g/n & 802.16e, Intel 6250NX MOW M NB PCIE HMC" (number FRU: 20002321). So, I bought this WLAN card key and after installation of the equipment THAT BIOS began to display error message "104 network device not detected. Even though I have updated the BIOS to the latest version available.

It would be good to have some explanations on the HCL. Otherwise, it seems that I just lost my money on incompatible hardware.

I'm afraid you have a wifi card that is not allowed to know why you have the message. Look at the map if it has the fru number in the manual.

  • AC update wifi card for dv7-6b77dx?

Hello.  I am considering buying a router using the new standard wireless AC and I wonder if there are cards wifi AC which are approved for use in the United States with the dv7-6b77dx?  I was looking specifically at the 7260HMW of Intel, but if there is no other AC wireless card that is approved for use, I'm open to alternatives.

If there is no not currently approved for use, is there any timetable when we get?  Thank you.

Well I never get all the points for this answer, but wi - fi laptops HP maps are locked. You can install a wireless cards HP offered from the factory. Here is the Manual:

    Manual

See pages 6 and 7 for your options.

I've never seen HP make additional wireless cards available with a BIOS update later. I don't think that HP offers a 802.11ac wireless on all models still card.

  • Pavilion g4-1318dx: update Wifi card

I want to improve my wireless card. I know that HP uses a white list, but it's like a 4 year old laptop, they still use a white list for her? I found this part here. He says it's compatible under the HP maintenance manual for my count, but since he is not one certified HP part (or other) I was uncertain.

Thanks for any help you can give,

The white list disappeared about 18 months so the g4-1300 series is still subject to the white list. As indicated above, this card is not going to work.

  • Envy 15-j104el: updated NETWORK WiFi card and RAM update

    Goodmorning to everyone

I write this post to ask for information on the possibility to do an upgrade of hardware on my HP Envy 15-j104elsystem.

    That's what I would do:

-Replace the network card (NIC) to a wireless better and possibly with a compatible AC NIC.

-Update to 16 GB of ram, put benches with CL9 SODIMM

The questions that I want to bring to your attention are:

-There is a 'white list' for the wifi card on my BIOS (actually F66)?
(consultation with the service manual there are little NIC OEM selled, y at - it ONLY compatible?)

-Put the sticks of ram CL9 (instead of CL11 currently OEM mounted), I can inprove the overall performance?

    I want to install are:

    -Intel Wireless-AC 7260 more Bluethoot HMC 4.0

    -Kingston HyperX Impact DDR3L 16 GB (2x8gb) SODIMM 1600 Mhz CL9 (Kit)

According to your experiences, is it compatible? I can buy them without any problem?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me. Thanks for your suggestions

In particular, I take this opportunity to greet and also need the help of my friend @visruth ;)

    1. no whitelist. Your laptop was conducted after HP stopped using a white list so that you can install any card with the right form factor and the number of antennas. The Intel 7260 card should work.

    2. you can install the CL9 memory but it will not do anything all run faster. The motherboard is made to operate at the speed of the OEM memory so the Kingston Hyper-X will work, but the specifications of it in operation will be the same as memory OEM.

  • Lenovo v580 wifi card

Hello, could you tell me why when I change the wifi card my phone why does not? I have broadcom 43xx card and I want to change to intel 2230. I see that there is a driver for intel 2230, why it doesn't work? why there is no support in the BIOS, and the pilot have? Intel 2230, there in the maintenance manual as a replacement possible.
    Thank you.

    Hi rvp2013,

Thank you for using the Community Forums of Lenovo!

The replacement of the card must have a FRU number.

Even if the make and model is in the whitelist, but didn't the FRU brand on the map it will be always recognized as incompatible.

  • Updated the Windows 10 Qualcomm AR9485 Atheros Wifi Card Driver

Currently, I encounter a similar problem with my HP Envy 17 Qualcomm AR9485 Atheros wifi adapter. The ethernet connection works but not WiFi. I can only connect to wifi after I immediatnly reset my router. All other devices work with the router. If the HP Envy 17 goes to sleep or stay on for an extened period, it disconnects and is not able to reconnect to my network. I had a similar problem to connect to another wireless network.  I've updated, restored, disabled and reinstalled the drivers from the adapter to any wifi avil. I returned at various points system retore. I tried everything except uninstall Windows 10. The HP Envy 17 is longer under warranty. At this point, should I open the laptop and replace the wifi card, or is there something that I have not tried?

Thanks much for the reply, EmeraldAvenger. Yes, I tried all of your suggestions. It was never a red X in Device Manager. I tried different sleep mode power options and channels (1-11) on the router settings. I have reset the BIOS. I even contacted my ISP, who assured me that the issue was with my laptop, not the connection. The only way I could solve this problem was to remove the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 wireless adapter and replace it with the wifi Intel 7260 inside my laptop adapter. I had no problem since since the swap. In fact, my connection is now faster and more reliable. I suggest to all who encounter this problem to just go ahead and replace the Atheros AR9485 Qualcomm. It is unforunate that HP has saddled 17 envy with this apparently faulty piece of equipment, but they have several useful videos on their support site to guide users how to disassemble their laptop.

  • 5 GHz WiFi card update - Compaq Presario

I just got a new router today and found out that it is a double router broadband and supports the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. I was wondering if I could update my existing WiFi card that supports only the 2.4 GHz and get one that will take in charge the 5 GHz band. Also if I have a 5 GHz WiFi card in my laptop can still connect to networks that support 2.4 GHz only? How much would cost a new card? And finally, if I can improve my card, how I put in my laptop?

    Data sheet:

    Model: Compaq Presario CQ57-33WM

OS: upgrade to Windows 8.1 Pro

Memory: Updated 6 GB of RAM

Hard drive: 320 GB 5400 RPM

Processor: FSB of 1333 MHz 1.50 GHz Intel Celeron processor B800

    Network cards:

    Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter

    Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller

(A lot of WAN Miniports is also listed in Device Manager)

Can I still switch my wireless card based on these specifications? It would be difficult to change? Let me know if you need more information on the computer.

Also, if it ends up that I can't change my card or it is really hard to change, could use something like this as a last resort? Double USB adapter wireless broadband

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Hello

According to the service manual this lappy does not support 5 GHz wireless cards. Most recent computers based Intel Mobile (Ivy Bridge and higher) support the latest maps wireless Intel including the last 7260AC one. Your laptop is older, so I can't say with certainty what will work or not. In this case I suggest to get some usb adapters wireless such as that of your link or one of them:

  • updated HP 6735 b wifi card

I was wondering I can install any old wifi card in this?

As I want to upgrade to a Wireless N card

    Hello:

Your mobile phone according to the specifications already has a Wireless N card any.

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

    http://h20628.www2.HP.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-c02030223-1.PDF

Network cards wireless supported with matching numbers of HP are in Chapter 3 on pp 25-27.

Because your model has an AMD processor and chipset, dual band N Wireless only card that works in your laptop is WIFI 802.11a/b/g/n Broadcom 4322 module.

You must select the reference number applicable to the part of the world you live.

You can usually find one of these cards very low cost on eBay by questioning by the HP part only number.

If you try to install all the other wireless cards, but those listed in the manual of the laptop does not start upward.

You also get one with the part number HP on it or it won't work.

    Hi all

I would like to know what type of socket for card wifi G50-70.

  • Pavilion 15-N064NR: update of wifi card and memory

Hello, I have problems with my wifi, just disconnects all the time, that I can install and new and faster wifi card, and I can add more memory to this laptop thank you Mike

Yes, you can switch the two quite easily. Here is the Service Manual:

    Manual

You have 6 GB of memory which is a 2 gig and a 4 GB module. Your best return for the dollar will come to launch the 2 gig module and install a second 4 GB like the original module. This will give more memory and also run faster since it is dual channel. You could install up to 16 GB (2 x 8), but it would cost a lot more and provide many additional benefits. See p. 47 of the manual for instructions.

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-691740-001-1600MHz-PC3L-12800-memory/DP/B00CI08FX4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&QID=1448663553&SR=8-2&keywords=691740-001

Your model has no HP whitelist and you can install any wifi card that is the right form factor.  See p. 49. It's a low-profile mini-pcie form factor. The original wifi offered thereon cards are little lame. It's one of the better ones:

  • T440s lost Bluetooth after having installed the latest updated via the Lenovo system update

Hi everyone, my setup - Windows 8.1, Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7260 with Bluetooth built-in.

After the installation of the last packet of Intel's Bluetooth (via the Lenovo system update), I lost Bluetooth constantly.

-J' I tried to uninstall the update of the driver, nothing has changed.

-J' tried to restore through Windows Restore Point (I did a fresh restore point before you install these updates,) without success...

    I noticed that:

-When this happened, the fingerprint reader to are featured strange - there is no if light (with green light) initially, Windows, and Windows was asking me a password instead of the fingerprint.

-In the Device Manager. Bluetooth category disappeared (I was there before the upgrade - for sure.). but I saw a new unrecognized device whose name ends with something like "(de l'énumération n'a pas pu) '-this could probably be the Bluetooth card."

-L' tray for Bluetooth icon disappeared.

-The Bluetooth system option submenu and its devices in the Windows settings disappeared (and it was here before).

-Looking for Bluetooth in Windows 8.1 returned property (with Win + W hotkey) framework "set up Bluetooth devices" or similar, but when I clicked it, it couldn't access this option - just took me to the main configuration screen.

I had to do a restore of the system using Linux (thankfully made a full HD image backup of the HDD and SSD using Clonezilla readers - that was the only way to fix this-instead of complete reinstallation of Windows).

The only driver that works for me is the Intel version 3.1.1307.364 issued on August 1, 2013.

    -Anyone else had similar problems?

Apart from this, the Bluetooth disconnects always happen: see http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/T440s-major-WiFi-and-Bluetooth-instability/...

Can someone give me some advice please?

    I need help with this.

I found a solution to this problem.

Apparently, installing bluetooth driver through update system does not install it properly.

So I downloaded the latest driver of Lenovo driver download page, and instead run autorun.exe, I sailed to 64-bit dir and then run the installation program.

    Everything works fine now.

  • T420 Wifi card problems

OS - Windows 10 Professional - clean install a couple of days.

I recently bought a refurbished T420. When it arrived, I was unable to view networks wireless in my house. I looked in the Device Manager and I saw a wifi card, Fn + f5 has not been implemented to the card settings, turn on/off the radio was not working, etc.. I took the back cover off the case and inside was a Sierra Wireless 3 G card. I removed the card and uninstalled the device. I bought an Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6205 map. Couple of questions...

    (1) it is not perfectly. I'm sure you know, Sierra Wireless is twice as long that the 6205 so when it is plugged in, the 6205 don't extend to the length of the device precedent and thusly, I can join only one of the two connectors antena. In addition, I am unable to guarantee to the Commission because he can't screw holes - thus, while it is in the slot of mPCIe, he always follows at an inclination of 45 degrees.

    (2) the laptop does not see the card. I scanned for changes material both by Device Manager, as well as on the Lenovo site and it appears at all. It is also not showing in BIOS. I downloaded and installed many drivers in order to help him to be seen, but none have worked. I think that the current I installed is: Wireless_19.20.0_PROSet64_Win10. I installed it manually via Setup inherited in Device Manager, but it seems unable to update the drivers. I checked the number FRU of the 6205 against the whitelist and it is said that it is good, then...

    (3) Bluetooth is installed on the laptop and seems to work.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello and welcome, SPinCharlotte

T420 has separate slots for wwan (Sierra Gobi 3000 I suppose, in your case) and wireless network cards. 1 is located under the bottom of the laptop, the 2nd is under the keyboard.

Wireless network card does not work and is invisible by BIOS/EC because of PCIe lanes than necessary are not routed in the wwan slot.

Take a look at the Maintenance Manual T420 hardware on the support page for details on laptop laptop disassemble instructions to install the new wireless network card.

  • X 201 WiFi card does not recognize the dial-up connections

    Hello

A week or two ago, I ran Lenovo System Update, which prompted me to update the drivers for my card (Intel 6200 - AGN) WiFi. After the update of the logins may no longer recognize the card. Windows will always automatically connect to networks wireless thanks to built-in software, but logins does not really bothering me.

I tried rolling back the drivers wireless (my current version is now 14.3.0.6, dated from 27/10/2011), but without success. As far as I can see, there have been no updates for logins for a while (it is difficult to tell because the system itself recently set update day), but it's worth a try to uninstall and reinstall an earlier version? My current version is 5.97, oddly the version listed on the support page for the x 201 3626 is 5.62, but all my software from Lenovo comes from Lenovo System Update.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

It is a new version of AC related issue. Uninstall and install the previous version 5.93, manually.
