Lenovo max resolution: just sad

Why the Lenovo moved with these billboards of cheap consumer, even on their machines of the range, while the technology for better billboards is obviously there?

I am the only one to think that this is not enough?

A comparison:

New IPad: $500

2048 x 1536, 9.7 "

263.92 PPI, 0,0962 mm dot pitch

The best Lenovo has to offer, W520: $2000 - $3000

1920 x 1080, 15 "

146.86 PPI, 0,173 mm dot pitch

Everything simply sad.

  • U2713HM monitor - cable DVI standard / max resolution

Hello.  I just received a U2713HM monitor (from the output of Dell) and connected to my video card (ATI Radeon HD 5450 in a desktop Dell Studio XPS 8100) with the supplied DVI cable.  I am allowed to select the maximum resolution (2560 x 1440) but when I do all past "fuzzy" and "pixelated" in white.  If I lower the resolution 1920 x 1080 then everything works fine.

A little on my own, including a few similar questions posted here, I think that my video card should certainly support 2560 x 1440, via the DVI port but that the cable delivered with my monitor is a single instead of double link link (I checked this in another post on this forum that included a photo of what single bond and double connectors look like) , and that the double bond is necessary to get the max resolution works correctly?

I you'd be grateful if someone could please confirm my assumption of what's going on and also cables dual link DVI should come standard (through the output also) with U2713HM in view of its resolution monitor?  Or is there any other question that I'm not aware of that could cause this problem instead?

    Thank you very much.

  • Screen LCD Satellite pro M10 max resolution.

Hi, sorry for my bad English, my question is:
Satellite pro M10 laptop internal LCD max resolution is 1024 x 768? excluded you superior resolution with scrolling?

I read in the specific techniques of my laptop max internal resolution is 1280 x 1024 is not really?

    Thank you

    Hello

As far as I know that the display resolution depends on a view controller
I found this information in the user manual. The following models are available:

    -14.1 XGA with 1024 x 768
    -15.0 XGA with 1024 x 768
    -15.0 SXGA + 1400 x 1050
    -15,0 UXGA with 1600 x 1200

I think that in this case, your device has a 14.1 or a 15.0 XGA display controller. Well well, in my opinion it s all right with your laptop. Enjoy it :)

  • Camileo Pro Max resolution D1 or VGA?

    Hello

I'm confused with the specs of the resolution of the Camileo Pro.

All the specifications of product, description and announcements like max resolution VGA (640 x 480).

However, the manual claims resolution (720 x 480) D1 max.

    Which is correct?

    No experience? Have you tried?

As far as I know you can save movies with a resolution MPEG-4 640 x 480 and 30 images per second.

Thank you to consult the manual still maybe the mentioned resolution is unrelated to recording videos

  • E6510 Max Resolution

    Greetings...

I have an E6510 with Intel HD Graphics, video BIOS 2080.26, installed version with the version of the driver 6.14.10.5408.  The current max resolution being indicated as available is 1366 x 768.  I have an application that runs only on 1440 x 900, so the application cannot display properly, because there is no scrolling within the app.  Is it possible to increase the resolution above 1366 x 768 via different update driver or bios?

    Thank you

    Rick

    Hi Rick,

The resolution depends on the type of the screen on the computer to the top:

If the computer shipped with the full-resolution HD LED screen is 1366 x 768.

Photo below you would help the resolution on 3 different types of LCD screen:

  • Max Resolution for external monitor via HDMI on Lenovo Y700?

    Hello

I hope that someone has experience with external monitors on a computer laptop y700.

I would like to ask if my laptop Y700 supports resolutions higher than 1920 x 1080 for external displays via HDMI.

    My model is:

    https://www.Amazon.de/Lenovo-i5-6300HQ-quad-core-Prozessor-Betriebssystem/DP/B016QB9HZK/ref=sr_1_2?i...

    I want to use a monitor with a resolution of: 2560 x 1080

    https://www.Amazon.de/DP/B00TF0X37I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&ColId=31RP1ZDSM66ZA&colii...

Is this possible with my laptop. And it is even possible to connect a 4K screen?

Thanks in advance for your help.

So finally, I tried to connect my laptop to a 2560 x 1080 widescreen-resolution-display via HDMI in an electronics store:

THIS MARKET! It is not a problem to run it with 2560 x 1080 at 60 Hz. The only problem might be a 4K resolution screen that it only works with 30 Hz, because it's an HDMI 1.4 port.

  • Max resolution R61i problem

    Hello world.

    I'm having a problem with a R61i 8930-A97: I can't put resolution is bigger that 1280 x 800 resolution GMA965 max is thus higher.

    Any suggestions?
    Thank you.

Your screen is WXGA so that he can't handle anything larger than 1280 x 800, if you got WXGA + or WSXGA + or WUXGA then your adjustable resolution higher than 1280 x 800.

  • 3007WFP cannot display the max resolution in Windows 7

I saw this issue raised repeatedly in this forum, and have yet to see a feasible solution.  Give it a try more. I have a cable dual link DVI - D, the updated drivers for graphics card and monitor.  Graphics card has DVI - D port and is quite capable of resolution max. What Miss me?

    Thank you

    Michele

I came across this same problem with my Mac Book Pro 13 "."  With the help of an Apple Mini Display port to Dual LInk DVI (mainly for movie screens), I was able to achieve the resolution of 2560 x 1600.  Hope this helps.

  • U2713HM - DVI with max resolution 'snow' on the screen

I bought a refurbished dell decision-making, a few weeks ago U2713HM monitor. It worked very well with a HDMI connection, but I soon discovered maxes out at 1920 x 1080 HDMI. I swapped the cable DVI - D my second monitor (Dell 2208WFP), which worked well on this screen. When I put the resolution on 27 2560 x 1440 maximum resolution, the entire screen fills with snow. This occurs at any resolution above 1920 x 1080. I tried to take a screen shot to illustrate, but the screenshot appears normally!

The video card is a nVidia with 2 GB of memory, 760GTX less than a year. It has a DVI-I have the interface.

I have the latest monitor and video drivers installed and have done the factory reset. Any ideas?

The U2713HM requires cable DVI - D Dual Link (reference Dell HCX4X), not the DVI - D Single Link cable supplied with the 2208WFP. Contact Customer Service. Give them the order number from Dell Outlet. Tell them that send you the cable HCX4X DVI - D Dual Link.

  • U2713HM, max resolution with a laptop without DVI and DisplayPort?

This is the type of response to a previous post with the same title.  However, the interface of the forum does not seem to allow a response on older posts, even if they remained unanswered and have customers.  Ho-hum. In any case, I discovered that I can drive the U2713HM using a simple HDMI cable to your laptop using the interface of view nVidia Control Panel (page 'Change resolution') property and setting a custom resolution to match the full 2560 x 1440. The trick is to use the Customize button and create a 'custom resolution' for the progressive 32 bits 2560 x 1440, use 'Automatic' and then drop the (Hz) refresh rate up to about 38 to 41 Hz. To find one that works and then keep trying new in 1 Hz increments until it fails. I'm at the wheel of a laptop Toshiba Qosmio, using its output using a refresh of 41 Hz. frequency something higher and display will not 'lock-in' to its native resolution HDMI (available only) the screen (normally connected by Dual link DVI to a desktop machine). So allow me to use the input on the screen switch to switch between my desktop PC and laptop. Works a treat!

Just thought I would add that:

This may be possible with a workaround to other problems of option cable - for example, poor quality or cables of big length - where the main problem is one of the supported by the cable or the type of interface bandwidth.  By lowering the refresh rate, you are lowering the bandwidth requirement.  For old CRT screens, it usually resulted in a significant - not so remarkable gradation with LCD/LED technology!  And don't forget that the eye can integrate cini-film at rates as low as 25 Hz!  Affecting the refresh rate of 30 to 48 Hz on a LCD/LED modern is now a viable solution for the problems of bandwidth of cable. Note, however, that all the problems can be addressed by here: for example, I got a cable from DVI single-link for which no stable frequency could be found (the monitor really need Dual - Link DVI - one with a full set of pines).

  • U2713HM, Radeon HD7870, max resolution?

I'm considering the purchase of this monitor, but with all the talk about HDMI not support resolution max, I wonder if my video card is able to get up to the maximum resolution I have a DVI port, but I don't know if it's double or not.  I have a GIGABYTE RADEON HD 7870.

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16814125418

I would appreciate any feedback, as well as suggestions for a cable I would need to buy to support the resolution. Also, if I use something other than HDMI, it reduced quality? Everything I use this computer for is the game.

    Thank you!

So should I get the combination of the three ports to achieve this resolution?
    * No. comes from port to port.

    Port DVI - D video card--> cable DVI - D to DVI - D Dell--> U2713HM DVI - D port = 2560 x 1440
port of CDM video card--> mDP to DP cable (not supplied by Dell)--> port U2713HM DP = 2560 x 1440

  • Dell U3011 Max resolution problem with Latitude E6510

    Hola,

    I have a Latitude E6510 E-Port Plus anchor and U3011 monitor.  The laptop has a NVIDA NVS 3100 M with driver 8.17.12.5922

Using the Dual-Link DVI cable attached to the monitor I can only get a max of 1920 x 1080 resolution.

The Dataport interface using the full 2560 x 1600 resolution works.

The problem is that I have two PC I want to connect the same screen and switch between them using the built-in monitor source selector.  The monitor has an interface unique dataport only, but has 2 x Dual-Link DVI - so I need at least one of the DVI ports support the full resolution.

Is it possible with this Dell laptop, the Dell dock, this Dell monitor, connected with the Dell supplied cable DVI?

    1. is this laptop support Dual-link DVI? I can't find the E6510 User Guide.

2 - is the Dual-link DVI support dock?  The E-Port user's Guide is not clear.

    3. by Guide Dual - link DVI U3011 user is supported.

    Best regards

    Emilio.

    Dr. Emilio Lizardo,

None of the docks support DVI - D Dual Link. If your locked to the resolution of the unique link.

  • Analog for U2711 max resolution 2048 x 1152

I have just bought a U2711 and cannot do run at no more than 2048 x 1152 from windows 7.  The highest resolutions are only available via the DVI connections.

It will only work at 1920 x 1080 to a MACbook pro or IMAC, even through the DVI connection

I've updated the drivers on Windows 7.

Any ideas, or just spent a lot of money on the wrong monitor for what I need.

I can't speak to the issue to apple. We do not test our monitors on apple products.

For the computer Windows 7 -
    Maximum resolution VGA = 2048 x 1152
DP (DisplayPort) and maximum DVI resolution = 2560 x 1440

Map video Windows 7 must have ports DVI - D Dual Link. The cable must also be DVI - D Dual Link. Go here and look at the 4th picture for a port DVI - D Dual Link. If one or both are not DVI - D Dual Link, you can only 1920 x 1200.

  • What external Maxie resolution is my Mbp does support?

    Hello

I have a MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2015) which has only an iGpu. I think it's an Intel Iris Pro 5200... but this information is well hidden, so I'm not sure.

What maximum external resolution (monitor) / frequency does support?

On the site of intel, I read for this kind of iGpu:

    DisplayPort * 1.2 / eDP *.

    H processors: 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz (Ultra HD)

    U processor: 3200 x 2000 @ 60 Hz, 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz

    Y - processors: 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz

    HDMI *: 4096 x 2304, 3840 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 24 bits per pixel

    DVI: 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz

    It is unclear if I have a processor H, U or Y.

    How obscure.

    So what can I expect?

    Here are the specs:

    GRAPHICS

Graphics card Intel Iris Pro 5200 (2.2 GHz) or AMD Radeon R9 M370X and Intel Iris Pro 5200 (2.5 and 2.8 GHz)
