  • Important notice - please put Lenovo Solution Center update

Lenovo has released a new version of the application (LSC) Lenovo Solution Center v2.4.003 which addresses a number of potential problems and bug fixes, some of which could adversely affect the performance of your system.

(Newer versions can be released since - just follow the link to get the latest version.)  The point of this pinned post is to alert users that you can be stuck on a version that would not automatically update correctly, and we wanted to communicate that number and in the chronology of the version where it is fixed)

Many of these issues have been discussed elsewhere in this forum.  It is highly recommended for all users upgrade to this new version as soon as possible.

Some of the problems that it solves understands that:

    • Excessive event log records
    • LSC_CLI.exe crashes
    • Excessive User Account Control (UAC) invites on limited user accounts
    • Many other bug fixes have been implemented

Most versions of LSC will prompt to update themselves when newer versions are detected.  There was a bug in the version 2.2 which affected the ability of automatic update - it would download and appear to be updated, but could not actually complete the update.  This problem has been corrected in version 2.3 or later, but the customers who have version 2.2 should download and update to fix this problem manually.  In order to be proactive, Lenovo adding the last versions system update catalogs to provide another automated way to update the clients that can still be on version 2.2, but some customers cannot make use of updated system, or may have chosen to not install the LSC if offered updated package.

Visit LSC on our support site to download the version for your OS or if you have already installed LSC and icon appears in your toolbar, please launch and allow it to check the updates.

If you go to the link provided by brand, you will always have the last ICL:

""Go to the LSC on our support site to download the version for your OS or if you have already installed LSC and the icon appears in your toolbar, please launch and allow it to check the updates. ""

    I hope this helps!

  • Cannot install Lenovo Solution center 3.2

I have a W520 I've updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Lenovo Solution Center gave some error messages about missing items, Solution Center 3.2 installer so downloaded. When I try to run the installer, it is said "the operating system is not enough to operate the Lenovo Solution Center". I uninstalled the 2.8 version to see if that was the problem, but got the same error message. I just reinstalled version 2.8 without any problems.

Thanks, Aryeh, the 64-bit version worked. It is different from what is supposed to be the 64-bit http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds104501 version which is lscsetup_x64_32004.exe. On this page even though it says at top it is for 64 bit Windows 10, lower he says that the operating system that is supported is windows 10 32 - bit, so something mГЄlГ.

  • Messages from Lenovo Solutions Center

I just reinstalled Lenovo Solutions Center (3.2.002) - wow!  Nothing like the previous version and would seem to be a lot less useful.  After the execution of the first analysis equipment, all is well except for two topics that are unexplained.

The PCI/PCI-e Test result is "Invalid."

The result of the trial of local connection is "attention!"

These results are of no use any without explanation and suggestions for resolution.

    Can someone me idea please?

    Richard

Welcome to the community of Lenovo!

If your test overall past so don't worry about individual issues.  The latest version of the center of Solution Lenovo (CSL) seems to have a pattern of confusing naming for PCI testing with several models of Lenovo.  If there is no PCI devices to test, LSC will return an invalid response.  The result of the test showed NA or Not Applicable there would be less confusion.  I'm not sure that the connection Local test result, but again if the overall test successful then I wouldn't worry.

  • Lenovo Solution Center cannot connect to the Security Server

Solution 2.8.005 Lenovo Center review 21092 reports an int guaranteed alert the Support section. Under warranty, a yellow wanring bar reports "Guarantee impossible to get the response from the server guarantee." In addition, an alert about products for registration is also reported in respect of the support. It reads 'Recording product that Lenovo Solution Center could not find your registration information'. These are the only two alerts by the Lenovo Solution Center.

I finished the registration process. On support.lenovo.com, I can confirm that the Lenovo ThinkPad W520 is registered to me and it is out of warranty. Therefore, it is a defect in the Lenovo Solution Center.

Is there a way to bypass this flaw, or repair by Lenovo?

Lenovo released a Service TIP document a problem with Lenovo being unable to search feature security solutions Center.

It can be found here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/HT116724

The solution is to visit the Web site of warranty directly. It can be found here: http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/warrantylookup

I googled for error code & found links with windows install error issue. But my windows install is good work and could be able to install all applications except lenovo Solution Center.

I tried to delete the directory and to install the most recent copy but still get this error.

Kindly guide me to remove completely (maybe the registry items to delete) and get the freshly installed.

What is your model number and the type of machine? Your other post indicated that under windows 7.

Your machine is a recent purchase or did you have some time?  LSC installed properly on your machine in the past?

You have two (1721 and 1603) error codes:

    (1) [19:00:44:704]: product: Lenovo - Erro 1721 Solution Center

    (2) information 1603. "Land C:\Program Files\Lenovo\Lenovo Solution Center\LSC.exe esta sendo mantido em uso pelo seguinte processo: Nome: LSC, Identificacao: 11196, Titulo da Alana: '(ne pas déterminé encore). Arrow esse aplicativo e Bivvy again.
MSI (s) (44:50) [19:00:36:711]: 1 requests had been reported to have files in use.

    Possible solutions:

    (1) unregister/re-register windows install. (I had this problem in the past).

    (2) performance Microsoft Mr. Fixit for remnants of an LSC installation/uninstallation are deleted.

    (3) not your login has administrative rights? If not,

start the installation of lsc by rlght click, run as administrator

    (4) you have an installed antivirus program? If so, what are you running?

Error 1603, FILE in use, among other meanings.

First try the steps 1 and 2 and see if the problem clears up.  If the errors persist after a new MSI log.

I need to install and upgrade to the latest version to make sure that none of my users have no problem.

Please use these to test your uninstaller.  They have a security flaw which is fixed in version 3.  This version will provide a pop-up screen to upgrade to version 3.

  • Lenovo Solution Center continues recovery

    Hi all

I bought a Lenovo B590 with Windows 8. I had no problems until 2-3 days, when the Lenovo Solution Center started acting weird and opening by itself. I kept closing it, but after 5 seconds it would launch again. I have no idea what may be causing this. I disable all alerts, clear the check box in the settings and and continues to act strangely.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

I not heard of this problem but honestly if it happened to me I would like to uninstall Lenovo Solution Center and do with it.  You can uninstall in Control Panel of--> uninstall a program.  Sorry for this disorder.

  • Error 1721 on repair/uninstall/reinstall of Lenovo Solution Center 8 64-bit Windows

    Hello

I'm looking for a solution to a problem with the solution Center Lenovo on Lenovo W530 running Win 8 64 bit machine.

It was not updated warranty information, and so I tried an installation with the latest version of the program. He refused to uninstall. Lenovo support then decided that the best approach was to eliminate the directory that contains the program.

Now, I still have the program listed in my programs installed, but there is nothing I can do with it. It does not appear on my desktop (which is not surprising) but does not uninstall and using the new package installation does NOT offer the option to install, but only for uninstall or repair, or who works - giving the error message 1721.

Next steps? (Level 2 has been calling me more than 1 week ago - no call...).

    Gary

I solved my problem! I cancelled the folder that contains the LSC and then used the newly downloaded version. The uninstall worked and I could reinstall. He now recognizes my warranty. Writing message helped my find a solution!

After an update to the Lenovo V2 Solution Center. I'm not getting my computer warranty information. Someone at - it the same problem?

  • Lenovo solutions Center

I just decided to install the latest update to the centre of Lenovo solution and ran a diagnotics and I get 2 fails, I never had any forecheck, but the Chipset Test and Test PCI/PCI-e show failed, while running the test it says not valid for these two.     WMB008000-HK9X2D result code

Anyone know what I need to do? I'm confused and uncertain, I really have a problem, or is it the test?

Welcome to the community of Lenovo!

I experienced something similar on my 900 yoga.  The PCI test is marked as "invalid", but if you view the details of the test, it shows that the number of PCI device is 0. The center of Solution of Lenovo (LSC) also shows that, overall, the computer has passed all the tests.  This leads me to believe that part PCI of the trial was invalid because he had nothing to test.  The same with the Chipset test, I believe that the invalid result was due be LSC unable to carry out the part of the test.  In conclusion, if the LSC overall test result shows it past then I'd be too concerned.

  • Lenovo Solution Center: Local Connection Test: WARNING

Hi, I'm getting a connection test local warning when the solution center of Lenovo runs a hardware diagnostic test. How to solve this?

Hi thanks for the reply. I solved the problem. I use a wired connection and had no WI - FI enabled when you run diagnostic test. Turned on then ran test and everything is fine.
