Lenovo T430s Bluetooth

Hi Lenovo community,

I urgently need help from someone to confirm a few suspicions of my laptop.

I'm a t430s owner, bought about a year and a half, it's a custom template.

Recently, I bought a new helmet that was wireless which is supposed to be used via bluetooth.

For some reason, I thought that my laptop has bluetooth technology, but now I'm not sure what I can do, I can't return my helmet and I've been Googling things upwards but no answers.

First of all, I want to ask... should I have bluetooth on my laptop? I went to Device Manager, and that's what I got:

And in Start menu, I typed in bluetooth, these are the results:

Is someone can you please tell me how I can get bluetooth applied on my T430s so I can use my wireless headset?

Thank you.

Hi Poykl,

Welcome to Lenovo Community!

According to the request, we understand that you have a problem with the Bluetooth adapter on your ThinkPad T430s.

This could be the problem with verification of function with Fn + F5 keys and you will get an option to activate the Bluetooth and Wifi adapter check this option.

If you have not found the option then I think that your system is not delivered with the Bluetooth adapter, please provide the number MTM (model Type of Machine) who will be at the back of the system written on the white sticker so that we will confirm if the Bluetooth comes with the system.

I hope this helps.

Best regards

Agnes Kumar

  • Look at the torrent of Blu - ray 3D with Lenovo T430

I have a 3D projector and a 3D compatible receiver in my home theater room. I recently bought a Lenovo T430 and I was wondering if it is possible to watch downloaded torrents movie in 3D with this laptop.

I understand that I need a mini displayport--> HDMI cable to connect the laptop on the receiver. I also understand that these torrent files play with something like the MKV player side-by-side format.

I don't know if I buy this adapter, 3D files will be able to play 3D through my setup of theater? Looks like a situation of "why not?", but I'm not too tech savvy and don't know if I'm missing something.

No discussion of piracy here. in any case, mini-Display port to HDMI is sufficient. Just wear you glasses to remove 2 images shown on television

  • Lenovo G560 Bluetooth problem

Hello! I have a laptop Lenovo G560 with Windows 7 64 bit and I can't use my bluetooth device.

I downloaded the drivers from consumersupport.lenovo.com, I instaled them, but the device does not work.

Also, I downloaded the energy management tools and the shortcut key, but here, everything seems ok.

In Device Manager, the bluetooth adapter and bluetooth enumerator appear to be installed corectly, but there are 5 elements called peripheral Bluetooth not installed (I can not update the driver in the list of the drivers installed on my machine, and another driver does not exist). Please see also the Manager of peripherals and Fn + F5, I can use any function menu Bluetooth of the tasksbar ('show bluetooth devices' returns nothing, 'add a device' can not find anything, 'open settings' does work not etc.).

In conclusion, I don't know what the problem is, and I strongly need help.

Also, I need a full sheet of the device bluetooth (for an app I want to develop). I searched the pages of technical support from Lenovo and Broadcom (the manufacturer of the bluetooth device) and I can't find anything in the details (only "commercial" specifications). Do you have any ideas where I can find this information?

    Thanks for your replies!

P.S Sorry for my bad English

I tried all those things. Does not.

I had reinstalled the operating system and drivers. All the problems are now fixed.

    Thanks for your replies!

  • Bottom line keys Lenovo T430 does not

    Hello

I have Lenovo laptop, T430, I cleaned it and closed the lid, so he went to the sleepmode, when I turned on the bottom row keys were not work - including the one above the bottom line that starts with z, also enter key.

I used the same solution that I use to clean the screen, it should be relatively safe more T430 must be resistant to spills.

I removed the keyboard and checked the cable and the connection to the motherboard, all was well but its still does not. However when im on the login screen, it shows as key Z, which shouldn't work, he is constantly depressed and typed my password field.

Im running win 10 and have not had any problems.

So that leaves me the possibility that mobo is faulty, the keyboard is defective or software partners. A few months ago dissipated my warranty if im trying to figure out until I'm sending for the technicians they will charge me if I do.

    No doubt the keyboard

I am looking for a universal docking station for both my en T430 my X 201 laptop.

It must have a minimum of 2 ports usb + a HDMI output to connect to my TV. A displayport (mini or normal) is also correct.

THX in advance for the help.

    http://www.DisplayLink.com/shop/docks

You would need to port usb Replicator options, but noted that these devices require usb 3.0 ports. So for your X 201, you need to get an expresscard usb 3.0 card adapter.

The Bluetooth on my T420 done nothing at all. I have several Bluetooth devices that can locate and connect to each other, but nothing is found by the mobile phone. • Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator attempts to install bad devices Bluetooth for CSR8510 A10

This question applies to all the Bluetooth adapters that are based on the chipset CSR8510 A10 (for example Sitecom CN-524).

On different machines, I'll have a different behavior as a result of the installation of the drivers for this adapter. For example, a laptop Lenovo X 240 will install fine and a Lenovo T430s will NOT install fine. The two machines are running Windows7 64 bit.

It is not an option to install the drivers that came with the dongle, because they are based on the suite of harmony of CSR, which prevents battery Microsoft Bluetooth to use. That is what I want, and it has been shown to work.

When you connect the adapter, Windows will try to install a generic Bluetooth Radio driver, which is fine.

I was able to isolate the problem to the driver Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator is also automatically installed:

-On the machine that fails to install correctly, this driver will attempt to install 3 devices (NICs): one for the hands-free Bluetooth Audio, one for Bluetooth L2CAP Interface and one for Bluetooth Remote Control. These drivers do not start (error code 10), who should expect that these drivers are not attempted to be installed on the computer that works very well.

-On the machine that the adapter is installed correctly, these devices do not appear. Instead, the pilots appear to Bluetooth Audio and Bluetooth Server.

I struggle to understand why there is a difference in behavior between the two computers and I would appreciate some tips that will help me to make the failed computer try NOT to install these faulty drivers!

    Thank you!

For anyone else who might come across this: I managed to solve the problem.

The problem seems to be that on some computers, the 'utility WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software' is installed. This software utility may be marked specifically for the manufacturer of your computer, for example, in my case, it was called "Thinkvantage Bluetooth Software".

Disabling the adapter embedded Bluetooth does not remove completely all network adapter drivers that are associated with this piece of hardware: the WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software utility adds a few network cards.

When you then use an adapter Bluetooth from another provider, driver installation may fail when the chipset you are installing is not compatible with these network belonging to a different chipset drivers.

I realize the use cases this is not very typical, but it's very confusing when it happens!

In order to solve the problem, make sure that you uninstall any Bluetooth software from other providers before you install the drivers for your new Bluetooth adapter.
