  I used no bootable DVDs. That was my problem. The DVD I got Lenovo have been only Windows 8 drivers and no OS.

• Lenovo G560 Bluetooth problem

  Hello! I have a laptop Lenovo G560 with Windows 7 64 bit and I can't use my bluetooth device.

  I downloaded the drivers from consumersupport.lenovo.com, I instaled them, but the device does not work.

  In Device Manager, the bluetooth adapter and bluetooth enumerator appear to be installed corectly, but there are 5 elements called peripheral Bluetooth not installed (I can not update the driver in the list of the drivers installed on my machine, and another driver does not exist).   Since the upgrade to 8.1, I suffered the BSOD bad_pool_caller error. The Tablet originally came with trial of McAfee anti-virus that I removed to replace with ZoneAlarm; Then, I downloaded and ran the program to delete McAfee dll from their site - no help.

  I found a thread on this in the communities of Lenovo who blamed the video driver. Yesterday (11/14) I followed the instructions to download Intel_CLV_installer_PR7_A05_CRT47_ZPE.zip on the Dell site and install which was the previous version of the driver - 9.14.3.1130. S. still broken.

  ATER, remove all traces of Kaspersky and following the instructions below, I could get a stable installation of ZoneAlarm.

  1. download the latest ZA 12 version http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/...10&action=view

  2. remove your current version of ZA (running XP Windows Add/Remove Programs/Windows 7/8 uninstall a program)

  3. remove other security tools installed. Use http://www.appremover.com/ to check a second time with no left overs are present.

  4. clean your system and registry with the free Ccleaner.exe
  free CCleaner<= click="">

  5. download to your desktop and run the ZA removal tool.<= click="">
  Now restart computer after you run the ZA removal tool.

  6. now install the latest version of ZA without touching all of the default settings,
  and do not restore the settings of the old installation.

  Have you tried to set the BIOS to default settings?
  In the BIOS, press F9 and save the changes, this put the laptop s default BIOS.

• Sun Virtual Box & Toshiba Satellite L10 - recovery settings problem

  I had a problem with my Satellite L10 and earlier could not get full recovery settings after installing Virtual Box from Sun and ignore warnings from Microsoft.

  I suspect that this has now cloned my drive. Something is very very wrong. I use Win 7 beta in the meantime but want my XP back.

  Virtual Box from Sun is not known to me and I don t know what happened with your installed Win XP on the HARD disk (if you have the OS installed)
  Usually, you should be able to boot the system by using safe mode, restart your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. Select an option (last good configuration, etc.) when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and press ENTER.

  I have Toshiba Satellite L40 - 14F with Intel GMA X 3100 video card.
  I have problem of display settings, I can't change the screen resolution and color quality when installing the drivers for video card, screen resolution is 800 by 600 pixels and color quality is the lowest 4 bit, when I uninstall video card drivers can change it.   I buy an android phone from Lenovo S560 idea a few days ago. When I connect the phone via USB to my desktop it it shows only as USB storage device. But in this phone there is no visible attachment option. For this reason, I am unable to use this phone as a USB modem.   Lenovo attachment option is not in the settings. It has an apps to an access point. Look in your list of apps and find Peronal Hotspot. If you do not, you may have accidentally delete.

• Dynadock extended window settings problem

  I use a PA3541U-2PRP Dynadock and have problems with the display parameters attached to it.

  For some reason whenever I restart, or lock/unlock the desktop screen was extended to mirror mode mode. According to the manual, I should be able to change the display settings by using an icon in my system tray but for some reason, this icon does not appear. I'm using Vista ultimate 32 bit and that you have downloaded the latest drivers dynadock.
  It's really a pain to have to go to the graphics settings to set the rear screen to extended after each time I have unlock my system.

  I bought Z510 a year back, in this short time I am facing battery problem. Battery won't charge and the system to keep plugged in a State with each use.

  I'm a home user and use the laptop for a limited time. I don't understand why lenova did not provide a removable battery that can be changed by the user only.

• Lenovo G500 camera problems

  So I have a Lenovo g500 (win 8.1 pre-installed, 64-bit) and I just installed the latest update of windows, and now does not work my camera.

  The updates were the 14 and 15 and I installed this morning, and I KNOW my web cam worked the 14th.

  I checked, and Skype is still expected to have permission to use the built-in camera. I checked the drivers, and those who are up to date.

  Anyone got tips on how to solve this problem? Its really annoying that it just doesn't work anymore.
