  • Recognize a lens with adapter

I have a Sony A7RII camera and a Metabones adapter for Canon lenses. When I try to select a profile of lenses in the optical Correction section, LR can recognize automatically the suitable lens. However, I can manually select a profile of lenses and LR would apply the profile of optical correction.

If I have a lot of pictures of the same suitable lens, I do only one, which is slow. Is it possible to automate the process? Thank you.

    Hi dlin,.

You can create a develop preset for changes you make to an image and apply on the other images.

Reference: work with the Lightroom Develop module

Let us know if that helps.

    Kind regards

  • Macro lens for Nex - 3n

Hello world. I'm new in the world of photography, and I don't know that much about the specifics of the cameras and lenses. I have a Sony Nex - 3n and I want to buy a macro lens to use with it. I'm confused about what will be and cannot be inserted. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated I don't want to spend a lot of money only to find out the lens does not fit.

With the help of the SAL - 30 M 28 will require the use of THE-EA3 or LA-EA1 lens mount adapter because this lens is a lens mount. The SALT-30 M 35 is a macro E mount lens that does not require the use of an adapter when it is attached to the NEX - 3N.

  • EOS LENS ADAPTER KIT M

I have several EOS ELAN for old SLR LENSES and a new digital EOS M. Is there an adapter for old to adapt to the new?

There is a card called the "Mount Adapter EF - EOS M ' and you can find that it listed as an accessory of camera on this page:

    http://www.USA.Canon.com/Cusa/support/consumer/eos_slr_camera_systems/eos_digital_slr_cameras/eos_m _...

However, Canon offers more EOS - M in the North America market.  This means that you would look for dealers who still have this in stock.

  • Where can I find the lens for my Canon mount Rokinon 14 mm lens profile?

I'm looking for the profile of the lens of a 14 mm Rokinon lens mount Canon.  I use an iMac running OS X El Capitan and Lightroom CC 10.1.1.

    Jean ndiaye says:

I'll try to find where the Downloader placed the profile and then move to... users (subfolder?) files.

Adobe Lens profile Downloader will automatically place the profile of lenses to the location of the user folder. On my Windows 7 system, it installs the lens here profiles:

    C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\Downloaded

On a Mac system they should be installed here:

    Macintosh HD / users / [username] / Library / Application Support / Adobe / CameraRaw / LensProfiles /.

In the profile panel, select 'Make' > 'Canon' and then look in the 'Model' list entry "Samyang 14 mm F2.8. You may need to scroll through the list by using the small arrow at the bottom of the list to see.

  • SteadyShot seems to be normal with mounted lens vintage

Sony a7II with vintage lens mounted.

Constantly adjust is set to manual.

Manual is highlighted in red.  But the words "Manual Steadyshot" are grey.

I tested the effect of steadyshot with a 135mm manual lens and could not tell any difference if the steadyshot is turned on or off.

This means that the steadyshot does not work if the "Manual Steadyshot" words are gray?

    Thank you.

  • On my A7ii with a 'legacy' lens, I have add-in the length of the adapter for a total of lens for SteadyShot Adjust?

What I understand: when I'm with, say, a lens 50mm on the A7ii legacy, I must say the focal length of the lens to the camera so that SteadyShot who work best by doing this:

What you are referring is the distance between the lens and the image plane, which is NOT the focal length , but the focus Distance, which is a feature of the lens mount.

In order to properly define image sensor shift stabilization, you enter the focal length of the lens, which is a physical property of the lens and is engraved somewhere on the barrel (usually in millimetres). The focal length is an indication of the Angle of view of a lens, which is what needs to know in order to compensate for an amount of shake SteadyShot detects it.

  • reformat via Mount target?

It's a mid-2009 MacBook Pro latest version of Yosemite refuses to start. Various difficulty attempts have failed. Has tried to fix the drive via the recovery with disk utility. Hold on operations and that would be passing to always if left alone. I've tried everything else I can find, but nothing works. He crashes at startup and refuses to launch the Finder. Several times, it produces the error with a kernel panic, but no additional information.

So, in my view, that it's time for the final, dramatic approach record the disc. It is currently the lens mounted on an iMac of 2016 using the same operating system. Restore in recovery mode does not work, probably due to the State of the reader. There is a fairly common Machine Time backup, and when the disc has been mounted on the desktop iMac computer, I caught the user and the library of records.

My question is, is it possible to erase and reformat the drive to MıPro while it is mounted on the desktop of the iMac. Logic says Yes, but...

    Thank you

    Shannon

This reformatting that should be no problem. But of course, there is a (real) chance that the drive is simply a failure and must be replaced.

  • How to detect the Satellite U200 WiFi adapter?

I had to do a full load of the OS on my because U200 delivered recovery disk is for the bad machine!
Let's all OK until the network wireless driver.

It needs to identify the mounted adapter by looking at the Device Manager.
I don't see ANY wireless network in the Device Manager if it does not help.

Label on bottom of PC says PA3489U-1MPC. This does not match any of the listed factors. I tried to install each of them and only the PRO1200 Intel seems to install.

But even when no wireless network in the network connections or the Device Manager. (Small switch is on)
Help! What should I do now?

    Bruce has soon

    Hey Buddy,

your computer has a card wireless Intel® PRO Wireless 3945ABG installed, so I suggest you go to the website of intel and download the drivers there and install them.
You have installed configfree? If it isn't already, and then install it, it s very useful to comfortably establish network connections and switch if necessary network devices.

    See you soon

  • Lenses & lens adapters

I think it would be a good idea to publish information about what lens and lens adapters we use including images,.

There are so many combinations available, it would be very helpful to new people in the industry like me to have available what works well, what cards are better then others and possibly even links to some images taken with the lens and adapter of choice.

    Thanks for reading.

If Nikon lenses (AI, AI - s or G) are on your list, then the more powerful, built #1 adapter etc. is Optitek Pro-Lock. Yes, it is the most expensive, but worth every penny. It has been a lot of discussion about his here and on DVXUSER if you want to learn more. FYI-I got the Nikon MTF adapter for 6 months and when it does work it pales in comparison to the Pro-Lock.

  • Info sought for lens marked ' CANON LENS EF 50 mm 1: 1.8.

I'm new to the Canon. The camera is 40 d. Have a 18-135mm lens. Bought EF 50 mm 1: 1.8 lens used. Very good condition. I'm trying to find info on this goal.

    As to this subject?

There were several versions of this goal. Here are the standard Cannon for more stuff later:

    https://www.USA.Canon.com/Internet/portal/us/home/products/details/lenses/EF/standard-medium-telepho...

Here is an article that goes into history:

    http://www.kenrockwell.com/Canon/lenses/50mm-F18-stm.htm

    http://www.kenrockwell.com/Canon/lenses/50mm-F18.htm

    http://www.kenrockwell.com/Canon/lenses/50mm-F18-EF.htm

So it depends on how old your is. The optics are all pretty much the same, they vary mainly in development and the lens mount.

  • The zoom lens compatibility

I have an EOS REBEL G and want to know if a vivitar 75-205 macro zoom lens 22005946 No. is going to work on it.

If you are looking at a manual focus zoom Vivitar 75-205mm F3. 8 - f4.8... This was done for the old Canon FD lens mount used on FTb, AE-1, a-1, F-1, etc. of the cameras... Serial number #22xxxxxxx you mention strongly suggests he is a FD lens, made by Kiron for Vivitar. If this is the case, it's probably a very nice lens, but...

No, which cannot be used on any EOS camera (film or digital). These all use the modern EF mount.

I did a search and did not find any Vivitar 75-205mm in the modern mount. So I think that what you're watching is the old FD mount and the answer is 'no' (this is probably why it's so cheap).

EDIT: there is a 75-300mm lens Canon EF that sells expensive and will work on a g of rebels. It is not the best lens optically or for general performance, but it is one of the lowest cost since this seems to be your biggest concern. This can be purchased for as little as $115 (http://www.amazon.com/Canon-EF-III-Telephoto-Packaging/dp/B00GEE8I1Y/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=13910997...). You might be able to find it for less used.
