lenses wide angle

I finally broke down and bought a 5 d mk III.  Now, I want to buy a lens wide angle.  I have a 24-105 l; 70-200 f4L is and and a 50 1.4.

I'm not married to canon for wide angle, but here a quality lens, whether main or zoom.  Any suggestions?

I really like the EF 20/2.8 on my FF camera...

  • Best first lens for macro photography wide angle

I am looking for more information on using lenses wide angle and tube extension to close to the top of the photograph.  The images will be used to capture the surface contours using PhotoModeler software.  This requires the use of a first goal.  I bought a 60mm Canon macro lens, but focal length is a bit long and surface data contain a lot of noise because the light rays are nearly parallel.  The target area containing reference marks, who must fill the area of the image of my 7 d is about 1.5 "square and the topics, located in the Center, are usually smaller than 0.75".  I'm looking for the 20 mm gun (or a 24 mm lens) for use with extension tubes.  Someone with experience with these lenses in close-up photography?  If so, what depth of field could hope for.

I will propose a tilt shift lens and series II Canon 24 mm or one attachment bellows with a lens in the 35mm range.

  • Would be - a lens wide angle work here?

Hello world! This is my first post and excuse that my ignorance, but I need to see if you guys could help me with something. I just bought a T3i and I have no photography or video production experience but I am really interested in getting my feet wet in these two areas.

But anyway, I have a tripod and want to shoot my brother and I play tennis. I have always created the tripod at a considerable distance, but if we put in place in the Middle we can only film one side of the Court. A goal wide angle would be able to record both sides of the Court at the same time?

Watch online examples of photos showing the angle of view.

You could get a lens fisheye lens 180 degrees and sit right at the net but all objects other than those at the edge of the lens will appear quite small. Fisheye lenses also have effects strong enough curvature. In addition, there are two types of fisheye lenses... a guy makes a full frame, rectilinear image, while the other type restores a round image.

While appearsimilar focal fisheye lens ultrawide, any given focal length a fisheye gives actually wider than a non-fisheye AOV. Canon now offers a for example 8-15mm fisheye zoom. But since it is designed for cameras full frame, it will be not too wide on your device at sensor crop (I don't have exact specifications for this on a crop sensor camera, only full frame specifications are listed). Tokina offers a zoom 10-17mm fisheye specifically designed for crop sensor cameras, and as such, it can make 180 degrees angle of view of your camera.

A non-ultra wide angle fisheye will have less curvature distortion, but will always be some extremes and will be also less wide angle of view. For example, the EF-S 10-22mm lens is the widest available Canon, objective: give the AOV 107 in the setting of 10 mm. The wider non-fisheye lens made by any person for the use on your camera is the Sigma 8-16mm, which gives it a degree of 114 AOV is wider. With these lenses ultrawide perspective distortion even exaggerate perspective, more distant objects look very small compared to relatives... even if it is not as extreme as it is with a fisheye lens.

If it's a one-shot deal and calls fisheye for you, because a fisheye is a rather specialized lens and you can watch in the rental of a lens for this purpose. Ultra wide-angle non-fisheye as the Canon 10-22 mm is often more widely useful, so maybe something you would find much more use for long term and want to buy as rent.

  • Taking wide angle, inside still shot s for rental properties with my Rebel T3i

I am the owner of the apartments and really struggled to get good shots of small rooms. My Rebel EOS T3i came with the EFS 18-55mm and 55-250 mm lens kit. I took a few photos wide-angle still rooms with lens 18-55 mm EFS, but my apartment rooms are usually quite small (think of the living rooms of 12 x 12 and small bath, etc.).  I just want to be able to adapt a bit more in the picture I'm getting right now, and I just can't back up far enough in the room. A slight distortion is OK. I saw some pictures of the great Hall with an adjustible 10-22mm, but I don't know if I need an adjustable lens, and it seems that they cost much more. Someone recommended using a fixed lens. Any ideas on a good objective fixed size (if all goes well at a reasonable price) which should work well with my camera to this effect.  I am a newbie so sorry if I did not give sufficient details. Ideas that you can give me would be great.

EF-S 10-22mm lens lens is probably just what the doctor ordered.  If you wish, rent a copy (many places rent them... LensRentals, BorrowLenses, B & H Photo, etc.) and try before you buy - but I suspect it's the goal you want.  There is competition a few lenses with similar focal length ranges... the Canon tends to get the best reviews.

It is a lens wide angle 'straight'--which means that all the "straight" will actually continue as 'straight' in your photos. In a "Fish-eye" lens straight lines (aka "curvilinear") are not preserved and will appear rounded (unless the line gets to pass through the center of the image).

But there is a problem... If you're not careful, these objectives very wide angle will change things that * should * appear as rectangles (windows, doors, etc.) will turn into trapezoids (keystone forms) - and in architecture, it may look unpleasant.

To avoid this, the camera must be 'level '.  Make sure that the lens is not slanted downwards or upwards - leave the level.  As long as the appliance is level, the lines on the sides of your doors and windows will be standing and not lean - creating wonky shapes.

    Good luck!

  • Samsung Ultra wide angle (S29E790C) Compatibiblity

    Hello

I have a laptop USPHL-LT-1238RG and wishes to buy a monitor Samsung ultra wide, specifically the model S29E790C.  My laptop is useful with this model?  Would there be problems?

    Best regards

    Samantha

DisplayPort is a specific type of interface for the transport of signals from a computer to a monitor. I know that this monitor has a Displayport connection for the input signal. The reason why I need to know the model of the laptop is to see if it supports Displayport out.

    The cable looks like this:

    https://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/DisplayPort

And your laptop has a displayport on it. See page 2 item 2 of the plug here:

    http://WWW8.HP.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c04472796.PDF

Samsung also provides the software for monitors ultra wide angle that is useful.

  • Camcorders that can adapt to a lens wide angle?

Can someone help me please? I'm looking for a camcorder wherein I can fit a lens wide angle to cover a wider area. can someone tell me what are the camcorders sony I can set a goal wide angle. Also I would like to know what lens wide angle corresponds to this particular model. On a side note, I already have a CX380 HDR, but it seems I can't attach a lens wide angle as it has no son. Thanks for your help.

I discuss with a representative and it gave me these two links. It gives you the lens and compatible camcorders that work with the lens. Hope this helps other too.

  • lens wide-angle compatible with Canon eos Rebel t5 for $300 or less

The STM IS to Canon EF-S 10-18 is your clear choice.

  • I own the Canon SX HS 50 and love it, however, I like the lens wide angle on the SH SX60

Canon sx hs 50 is a bit amazing camera with the possibility of zoom to large and clarity.  I had a little more than a year.  The new sx 60 SH has some new features that I like... the lens wide angle and the creation of custom effects.  However, the stability of the camera is very fragile when zoomed out.  I question the value of the upgrade of the 50 to 60.

My shots are more abstract... by zooming in on the structures, eyes, etc.  I can take pictures of my car with the 50 but not sure that this would be possible with the 60.  I appreciate any input... or is there another cannon with the lilke long zoom of 50 with some of the features of the 1960s.

Thanks a lot for your comments,.

I don't have one. But you said you've tried, so I guess you tried in store right? In-store, normally the brightness isn't enough so the shutter speed will be slow and you will see shake. In addition, setting the device also comes into play here too. The best way, take the 50 SX with you to the store, set the similar to your 50HS 60HS. Then take the photo and compare. Sometimes, in the store settings are not optimal.

  • Wide Angle Images are vignetting after Conversion to DNG - please help :-)

    Just bought a Canon G1X
Convet the Canon CR Raw Adobe DNG files. (Cany use Canon Raw files on my Adobe Camera Raw CS3 CR
All DNG images taken end of the zoom wide angle have very pronounced vignetting - appear as there is a very long visor on.
The same images appear fine on the screen rooms and in the Canon software.
This seems to happen just during the process of conversion to DNG format.
At the moment I can't treat Raw images in my CS3 and I have to use the substantial software Canon gives at least with the camera

Any help would be greatly and warmly appreciated!

    Thank you

Probably what is happening, is that the DNG file tries to use DNG 1.3 accent extensions, that will not recognize CS3.

I suggest try "Custom DNG compatibility", backwards Version 1.1 and linear (demosaiced) for compatibility settings.

  • Adaptive Wide Angle - control of the tools of coercion

    Hey friends,

Having a few frustrating problems with this very powerful tool.

I'm stitching a panorama made with pictures taken on a 35 mm lens and using the Adaptive Filter large right angle curved lines.

Using the constraint from the outset tool does nothing, the lines don't naturally curve in the curves of the lines in my picture.

If I set the setting for the fisheye, it helps a lot. Photos of tool constraint upward on the curves in the center of my pano, but two problems arise:

    (1) parts of my image get completely cut off for some reason I can't understand

    (2) when you use the tool of coercion to the edges of the image, the curve of the tool goes in the opposite direction of the curves of the line in my image, which actually makes the curves of my worst image rather than remedy.

Is it possible to manually force the curves of the constraint tool? I use this wrong why? I should the registration form this?

    Thank you

I think the do in LR will have the same question, as it's the same camera Raw conversion engine. To get the tool Angle wide adaptation to work, the pano should be created in PS. If all goes well, they will have a fix for the ACR & LR versions soon.

  • macOS Sierra no longer supports monitors ultra wide angle?

Just install macOS Sierra and the required resolution for this monitor ultra wide LG no longer appears. Anyone know of a work around?

My problem with my monitor LG UltraWide is now that it will expand just the 1920 x 1080 rather than on el capitan, where he could go to 2560 x 1080, seems like Apple just ditches ultra wide support

  • Why Firefox opens with only 2 inches wide angle of view?

Firefox screen used to open the entire width, but now it opens briefly full width and then returns to a view that is 1 1/2 to 2 inches wide. Using Firefox 16. Not have made any changes that I know.
    I need to reset?

    • Use Restore or expand in the context menu of the taskbar icon to set the focus to the Firefox application if you do not see the window of Firefox.
    • Open the system menu of the window of Firefox via Alt + space and see if you can move and resize the window (use the arrows on the keyboard).

If it works, then first close all other open windows of Firefox and then close Firefox via "file > exit/Quit" to save the setting.

  • Long (wide angle), scrolling of pages

Excuse me if this has been asked before - looked, but could not find a similar topic.

I would like to create a horizontal application only but with continous scrolling (drag) instead of NAV. normal page essentially the width should be approximately 10000 px. It's kinda like five 'pages' wide (res retina), but instead of gliding through the five individual pages, I would like to be a continuous 'page', if that makes sense ;-) Is this possible?

    Thank you.

You have frames with horizontal and vertical scrolling. Create a this size Indesign document and import it as a floating frame.

  • How to resize panels (very) wide angle?

    Hi all!

    I have a problem in Photoshop CS5 (Windows version v12.1 x 64).

My screen resolution is 1680 x 1080, but almost all of the 'extra' screen space is plagued by wide panels.  I can't adjust the width, it is locked for this extra wide look (see photo below). For example, my actions panel is two columns wide. It would give me a lot more space on the screen if I could have only one column.

    P. S.

I understand that some panels are wider by default and therefore affects other panels if they are grouped together, but they cannot be resized even when separated.

    Best regards.

I think it's just a case of something to do with the version of cs5 help.

If the word in the language uses much longer than the English equivalent names.

In any case, it's the only thing I can think of.

Here is a picture of cs5 with screen resolution 1024 x 768 on my windows machine 8 value
