Levels of payment AppWorld

Hello

I am trying to publish an application in AppWorld and contained this app purchasable. What I don't understand is why there are price levels in the right section where I expect rather to have an input field and add my desired price?

Are existing blocks - just a short list: ' Tier099 - $ 0.99 ',' Tier199 - $ 1.99 ',' TierRIM - $4 ' and so on...

Maybe I've missed, but y at - it no charge that RIM keeps for a purchase? As the Android Market and the AppStore take 30%...

Kind regards

Isabelle

RIM takes 30%. They usually take only 20%, but also charge $20 for each submitted app (no updates). When they eliminated cost deposit app, they hit the rate of 20% to 30%.

  • BlackBerry AppWorld Service payment for providers in Nigeria

    Hello.

Please how to set up the payment as a global seller of app service.

I'm a developer in Nigeria. PayPal does not accept registration from Nigeria.

So please any suggestions on how to make use of the app world payment service will be highly appreciated.

While I can develop more applications in order to make money in the app world.

    Thank you.

PayPal is set up it is for security reasons. Payment processing is done by Digital River, who also manages the product for sellers of BlackBerry App World.

You can earn money by setting a price for your application. Payments-app is a way to monetize.

Other methods of monetization to consider:

    • Price of the premium for the app
    • Advertising
    • Freemium (two versions of the app, free/paid)
    • Develop applications for businesses, billing customers, free in App World
    • Develop the app in conjunction with a web service
    • Sponsorship of the app

I'm sure that there are companies in Nigeria who want to pay you to do an application for them. You can even make more of $$$ that way.

    Good luck to you, Sir.

  • Download apps in AppWorld

I am trying to download my app at AppWorld and I am following the guide here and also, since I was a question to be submitted to goods, as a result of this article.

What I don't understand--first of all, it is very confusing for me to have applications and products/items to purchase under the name of 'product '. An application is a product and an element of buy... is a product too.

Section "Manage products" should have remained as 'manage applications '...

What I want to do is to test the functionality of payment, but I can't do that, at least I have download the app event if I am not publish, I guess that it will remain as a "draft" and tests can be carried out.

    Questions would be:

    1. I am the only one with this confusion?

    2. once the application is downloaded, I can perform the tests, or I have to wait for approval from the RIM (which can take up to several weeks)?

You can test the application downloaded using the TST alt + door furtively in appworld to enter the code. your testuser must be entered in the section of appworld.

  • How live test payment with Dev Alpha B SDK?

    Hello

I'm doing some tests of payment SDK for a new application, in accordance with the instructions for the playbook (link below), it is quite possible...

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/BlackBerry-world-development/how-to-live-testing-the-payment-...

How can I do this using my z10 or dev unit alpha.   I followed the instructions, creating a sandbox account using my bb id, and by creating a project for the appropriate platform version, the problem is that I have no way to find or my new downloding and always in accordance with the project of the appworld to test.

    Help would be greatly appreciated...

    Thank you

You do not know, it is relevant here, but if you have really no way even to find the app, perhaps missing the part on the use of development Mode in the client.

If you activate the Mode of development on the Z10 (or DA) in Control Panel, and then in the settings of the client application BBWorld there will be a new page appears, also called development Mode. In this page, you can enter the digital product for your application id (you will find on the first page of the application when you edit his entry in the provider portal, under manage the products and then clicking on the pencil icon).

Provide you here and click the button, and it brings you to the entrance of the application. If you can actually see that or not seems to depend on black magic. Above all, I can see my apps, but I just can't download them from there if they are not approved.

  • BlackBerry Enterprise Activated Z10 Z10 - Missing option "transfer as level 1.

We have a number of guard personnel who have relied on the "send forward as level 1' option to alert critical event notifications.

Surely other companies have encountered the same problem, has anyone at - he found a replacement of inviting?

Ideas, or news on this feature in a future release.

    OK, thanks for the update.

It is most certainly something we have as a company and, hopefully, a version-replacement is coming soon.

We have only a 4 of the Z10 deployed at this stage, so for those few we found 'emergency alert', which works well, but is not free.

Note: In order to make it work he had to publish the app in the scope of work of appworld.

This workaround works, but again, if something like this can be built into a future version of the OS it would be greatly appreciated for business users who depended on her so in version 5, 6 and 7 devices.

  • Payment API 1.8

In App World documentation 3.1 or higher is required for the payment of the service API.

That's fine, but all the simulators that I find are 2.X or 3.0.X... I tried to upgrade the world app on the Simulator, but after that it requires a restart, then I restart fledge and the old version is still there.

How am I supposed to test in payment for the app on the Simulator, if I can't get the latest version of the App World.

    I tried (9900 sim, 9790, 9360, 9800)

I don't have a machine to test on.

It fixed by following their steps, remove files from the appworld and reinstall.

For some reason any it endless tells me I have to reboot my device. Whenever I reboot it keeps invites me and also pushes me in the middle of tests in app purchase. I guess that's due to problem with Simulator App World.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not update AppWorld 907 invalid COD

Hi guys. I bought my Torch 9800 (v6.0.0.570) in 2011 and so far the problem is still not resolved. Everytime I open the AppWorld

    Hi Firdaus92

In this case, it is advisable to upgrade the version of your operating system to the v6.0.0.756

Search and download your OS and everything above applies

    By sdgardne

    However, here's what I propose...

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find complete instructions via the link in my sig auto below. (It's probably debatable given the errors you have... it is likely that your data are already parts of your device, which means that you must now rely on a backup you took before that happened.)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • BlackBerry App may make payments of world Blackberry

For the last 4 days, I have not be able to make payments from world of Blackberry. I made several purchases with the card on the file before.  I have the following error:

"This purchase cannot be completed.  Please select a different payment method. (AW10000c) »

    (1) I changed my AMEX visa.

"This purchase cannot be completed.  Please select a different payment method. (AW10000c) »

    (2) I made a purchase later in the day with the two cards to see if they are active.  They are.

    (4) I've changed back to VISA.

    (5) T-Mobile does not offer carrier billing.

    (6) I don't have PayPal

    (7) two different cards, both can make purchases everywhere else.  Two card providers mean that cards are very good.  This seems to be a problem with Blackberry World.

    Phone: Z10 (STL100-3)

    OS: 10.2.1.2156

    Carrier: T-Mobile

Please inform on what needs to be done next.

    IT. JSM RESOLVED.

I called my provider (T-Mobile), which opened a ticket with the official support of Blackberry.  Level 1 technicians were unable to resolve the problem and back to Blackberry level 2.  I had to provide some information, account #, the last 4 digits of CC, billing address, etc., but after some time (a few days), that the level 2 technicians were able to discover the problem and 'unlock' my account. Boo - yah! Told me that BB world had auto-bloqué my account to try to prevent fraud (even though we didn't know the reason that BB world suspicions of fraud). Despite everything, they unlocked it and I can make payments and successfully buy apps through BB new world.

Someone else who has this problem, you need to open a ticket with the official support of Blackberry. This isn't a problem with your credit card or to the version of the software.  It occurs somewhere in the depths of the internal systems of blackberry and cannot be solved by anyone but the official Blackberry support.

No thanks for the non-aide of the so-called 'technical assistance' community who have steadfastly refused to acknowledge the problem or even an attempt to provide a unique solution.

I hope that this resolution will help others.

  • I can't launch AppWorld after update to the last operating system

After the update to the latest version of the OS, I did able to launch the AppWorld initially. Then all of a sudden it changed. Now I only see the background image when I run the appworld. I tried to reboot several times. It does not solve the problem. It could be related to my apps that I downloaded using the developer tools. Because I see a notification in the notifications section, which shows that I have an update. It shows a notification about the new version of my own application?

I solved this by erasing all the data on the playbook.

    1) meet your data

    (2) wipe goto-> Security-> security settings

When you do this, it will do a clean install. Your data and your installed applications will be lost. If you paid apps installed, you can re-download apps without a payment again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones APPWORLD IS NOT taken in CHARGE IN YOUR COUNTRY.

I bought a BB Torch 9800 in a country with full support for BB and after 6 months the supplier retains even Appworld "soon". I realize there are * complex * reaons to Appworld is not not available in my country, but without being able to download, buy or install applications, ringtones and themes, the torch is not really much of a phone. There are much better deals Android and Apple that are customizable as a bonus. So the solution for me is quite simple (although not what I wanted): kick ass clean, chuck BB in the tray and vow never to leave BB - control is only archaic!

I hope I'm not abusing this forum but need to share:

DO NOT BUY THE BLACKBERRY APPWORLD IS NOT SUPPORTED IN YOUR COUNTRY.

(for those who did, you know just what I'm talking about)

    Thank you

    Hello!

To add some clarification, anyone can check this page to ensure they meet the minimum requirements (including if it's available in their countries):

If it is available in their country, and they feel that they meet the requirements at the level of the device, contact the carrier to ensure that they meet the requirements of the plan (to them) service access to AppWorld (via their network).

In addition, the latest version of the AppWorld is currently accessible via data carrier network - WiFi is not used for access to AppWorld under any circumstances. So we have to subscribe to a sufficient level data plan so that the AppWorld to function.

    • KB23854"a data plan is required to use this feature" sometimes appears in BlackBerry App World

Further still, you should know that AppWorld is simply a portal, vending apps developed mainly by others. Therefore, it is not the exclusive supply source - there are others that you can try:

    • AppWorld in some countries
    • MobiHand worldwide
    • Handango worldwide
    • BPlay worldwide
    • GetJAR worldwide

I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can search the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

Finally, understand that RIM has no unilateral control over the availability of AppWorld. On the contrary, a triad of entities must agree - RIM, wireless service provider, and Government. As the main entity to profit in this triad, I've always suspected that the RIM is not one that could hinder the process.

    Good luck!
