lib nivision 64-bit

I compile a program with nivision.h and nivision.lib in nilabwindows 64-bit window7. Could you let me know where I can get the nivision.lib for 64-bit file.

Sincerely,

Taiyoon

Hi Taiyoon,

It does not exist. CVI feature is only supported in 32-bit programs currently.

    Wooddoll,

    In general, 64-bit import libraries are installed in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Shared\ExternalCompilerSupport\C\Lib64\MSVC\imaq.lib for 64-bit variants.

The 64 bits real DLL is usually installed in C:\windows\system32\imaq.dll.

  • niimaqdx.lib 64-bit?

    Is a 64-bit version of niimaqdx (aka imaqdx / imaq-dx /)
NI - IMAQdx) available? The matrix compatibility says Yes, but I do not see the files.

Specifically, I don't see that the 32-bit version of niimaqdx.lib in both the March 2010
and November 2009 releases. Do you need to check something extra to installation, or?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi gatanui,

There are currently no date set for a 64-bit C API NI Vision and IMAQdx. Part of it of course depends on customer feedback. Now, CVI compiler of this NOR also supports 64-bit, there might be a few grow for them to have 64-bit API available.

However, as you are just using IAMQdxGetImageData (which returns the image raw, non-decoded tabular data) you shouldn't the API of Vision functions of NOR and so I guess you can use 64-bit of the C API of IMAQdx without Vision. You have two options to do this:

    (a) use LoadLibrary() and GetProcAddress() to dynamically bind DLL functions, you use

    (b) that I provided you an import library for 64-bit not supported for use with MSVC (not CVI). It comes to IMAQdx 3.6.0.

Note that since these functions are not currently supported, I can't say with certainty that you won't encounter problems, but there is no reason that I know that they do not work.

  • OAM Webgate11g CCG lib libstdc ++. so.6 for linux 64-bit

Does anyone have this file libstdc ++. so.6 for linux 64 bit RH?
I tried the site of gcc, and I'm confused as to what to download and then how to compile it from source. Download source gives file corruption errors.
    Any help would be appreciated.

It is in lib64. I run 10g Webgate and requires 2 libraries (one that you mentioned and gcc). On 64 - bit systems, they are located in 2 different directories: / lib64 and/usr/lib64. If your agent also requires two, simply copy in the single directory and back during the installation.

  • What is the difference between nivisa4.lib and visa64.lib

    In

    C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\VISA\Win64\Lib_x64\msc

    There are 3 lib files: nivisa64.lib, visa64.lib, visa32.lib

And in C:\Windows\System32 are the 3 corresponding .dll files.

I understand that I link to visa64/visa32 depending on whether it is a 64-bit or 32-bit computer.

But what is nivisa64.dll and nivisa64.lib good for? I need for communication with my camera? What is the difference between visa and nivisa?

    Hello

There are currently 4 import libraries.

3 are provided by visa32.lib of NI-VISA (one in a folder of British Colombia and the other in msc) and nivisa64.lib. The other lib visa64.lib is provided by the shared components of VISA.

So the difference between the nivisa64.lib and the visa64.lib is the author of the file.

nivisa64.lib National instruments and the visa64.lib is provided by the shared components of VISA.

I hope this helps to clear up the confusion.

I RHEL6.3, I have the 32-bit versions and 64-bit of Firefox (V10.0.7) installed. I need 32 bits for WebEx (Java plugin) and the 64-bit Flash player.
Currently, I load the 32-bit executable file by running:
    / usr/lib/Firefox/Firefox

Is there a firefox command argument to load firefox in 32-bit mode?
    for example firefox-32 b

    Thanks in advance,

32-bit and 64-bit versions are different programs and therefore installed in a directory of different programs, so you must start them in their own program directory.

If you want to start them via a command then you must write a script file to define the correct program directory.

Why don't create you two desktop shortcuts for each of the two versions of Firefox and start them with their own profile?

  • Can not find the 32-bit program for library file

    Hello

It's a long time since I've worked with CVI, but today I opened an old project of CVI 2013 SP2. Load project, I learned two errors of loading library: "Cannot find the file program 32 bits"Menu Utility"library" and "Cannot find the file program 32-bit library 'Excel Report'."
I see both libraries in the "Customize the Library Menu" dialog box. They are responsible to "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National" and "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National.

On the disc, I find these files, but I can't find the files corresponding *.obj, I see others custom libraries.

I think I need these *.obj files, I don't? Where can I find these files? Or how to create these files?

    UliB

Sorry, I did not on the problem in excellent value. This instrument is only distributed at the code level, then you have to load it into the menu of the Instrument. It is the same for the menuutil instrument.

Alternatively, you can create a lib off code instrument: see this help page for reference.

  • Migration tool for 64 bit LabXML

    Hello!

This post is not exactly on LabVIEW concerns, but I'll try anyway ;-)

We used the LabXML tool in many applications for a long time without problems (downloaded from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/labxml/files/LibXML-toolkit/).

Now we are one of these big request to LabVIEW 64bits, migration and we must upgrade LabXML to 64 bit.

Theoretically, just recompile the dll files to 64 bit and that's all! But it's not as simple as that...

LabXML is the use of knots "Call library function" call 2 dll: libxml and IXMLWrap.

To update these dll in 64-bit, I tried the following:

-libxml: this one is dependent upon other dll (iconv, zlib). I downloaded the 64-bit versions of: ftp://ftp.zlatkovic.com/libxml/64bit/

-IXMLWrap: this one is based on libxml and libxslt (also downloaded from the top). I have the .c file (attached) and I tried to compile with visual studio and managed... almost!

I get an IXMLWrap House compiled 64-bit dll but cannot load it with LabVIEW 64 bit...

By reading the dll with 'The Dependency Walker tool' 64 bit, I got some errors of the export features.

Indeed, when I compare the 32 and 64-bit DLLs with the Dependency Walker tool, I have the same functions in the dll, but do not have the same exported functions... (see attached image)

    I have 2 questions:

-someone has already tried to use LabXML with labVIEW 64bits, and already the DLLs to share?

-is anyone has any clue as to what is the problem with my IXMLWrap dll: incorrect downloaded dll, problems in my Visual studio project configuration,...?

I'm sorry for my "stupid" questions, but my experience of developer C is far behind me... :-(

    Thanks for your help!

    OK, it's my fault...

I made the connection with... .lib files from linux (not windows)!

No problem then to compile and use the 64 bit dll

    Hello

How can I create a Windows using NOR-DAQmx application in Visual Studio 2010 64-bit?

I'm transferring a 32-bit application on 64-bit.  In visual Studio, I added the 64-bit project configuration.  He compiled the source very well but the reports link errors:

error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol DAQmxCreateDOChan referenced in function NI6008_DigitalOutput NI_6281\NI6281.obj

These, of course, are the functions OR that I use.  The NIDAQmx.lib has been added to the Input of the link property.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    -Neil shore

    Hi LaserShore,

Think you that you added the 64-bit platform settings target according to this page? : http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/372636F-01/mstudiowebhelp/html/64bitcore/

Already running 32-bit application? Have you changed references to the 64-bit version?

You use Measurement Studio? If so some features are not supported with 64 bit.

Also when you say that you have added the NIDAQmx.lib, did you follow this KB:http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/38F67B28D995C6958625706E000C580C

  • How to install the VISA 64-bit runtime library?

Hello! I try to install NI VISA 5.2 (of visa52full.exe) on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and I would like to use 64-bit libraries to control my instruments (I use Java/JNA and can interface only a 64-bit Java with java only 32 bit libs with java 32 bit and 64 bit). However, after installation I can't find visa64.dll, and in the Setup, I can't find an option to force installation of the 64-bit libraries. Can someone point me in the right direction here? Thanks in advance.

In fact, consider answering my question. I realize that Dell sold us a computer with pre-installed 32-bit instead of 64-bit Win7, we ordered.

  • LabVIEW for linux (Ubuntu 64-bit)

University of Helsinki uses a centralized managed linux installation on all linux workstations.  The distribution is based on Ubuntu 9.10, and it is considering moving to 10.04 LTS.  Almost all of the facilities are 64-bit, only a few old machines (> 5 years of age) are still using 32-bit installation.

In the Physics Department, there are about 500 machines and about 30% of those who are linux workstations.  We strive to get LabVIEW for Linux installed on our desktop, then run under Ubuntu 64-bit.

1 problem (not a problem): For some strange reason, the installation media does not CD/DVD use normal files (iso9660) system, but the media is formatted with the file system "Mac OS X HDF +".  It works under linux, of course, but has been a source of mild confusion.  It would be wise to change the normal file system to the next version.

2nd problem: The installation under Ubuntu does not work.  Namely:

First I mount the media with the "mount-t hfsplus/dev/sr0/media/cdrom0" and try running the installation script
    CD/media/cdrom0/Linux/labview-2009
    sudo knew
    . / INSTALL

Installation is not going smoothly.  According to the error message, the script is not found the library libbz2:

/ Media/cdrom0/Linux/LabVIEW-2009/bin/rpmq: error while loading shared libraries: libbz2.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

However, the library is in standard place:
    $ ls/lib/libbz2 *.
    /lib/libbz2.so.1 /lib/libbz2.so.1.0 /lib/libbz2.so.1.0.4

I know, "support of the distribution" list only include Mandriva, RedHat, and SUSE.  The version of LabVIEW is the latest version of the fall of 2009.  Does anyone have any ideas what to try next?

    see you soon,
    Pekko

  • LabVIEW Manager (labviewv.lib) target RT Linux support?

    Hello

I have a cRIO running Linux RT (x 64). I would use a 3 rd-party to a VI RT C++ library. The library has features that are not compatible with the library function node call LabVIEW (for example, functions that accept a C++ string entry). Under Windows, I would create my own wrapper library using LabVIEW Manager functions to perform a conversion between the types of C++ and LabVIEW.

Is it possible to do the same thing for RT Linux targets? Is there a version of labviewv.lib (32-bit or 64-bit) for Linux targets? (I don't have a Windows development machine)

    Thank you!

    Hello

You don't need labviewv.lib intall on your linux RT target. Simply develop your application using Labview MAnager on Windows functions and then deploy it on Rt Linux target.

    Best regards.

  • No screws daqmx in labview 2014 64 bit

    Hello

I have daqmx 14.0 installed on my Win 64 bit PC and LabVIEW 2014 SP1 32 bit. Today I installed LV 2014 64-bit on my PC and I don't see any DaqMX screws under the section i/o measure. And when I opened my project compiled in 32-bit LV 2014 then computing begins looking for screws DaqMX and I point it to "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National 2014\vi.lib\DAQmx" but the daqmx vis are broken.

When I click on the run button broken, the error list displays 2 errors:

    (1) VI couldn't carpule

    (2) external component or missing driver

It seems that I need to install special drivers for daqmx, so I downloaded daqmx 14.5 of the or site and during installation when it asks the path is by default "C:\Program Files (x 86) \National" but I changed it to "C:\Program File\National Instruments\" and the installation program gave an error message that I can't install the 32-bit files in 64-bit folder.

    How to solve this error?

    Thank you

    Ritesh

    LVCoder wrote:

So should I just uninstall daqmx from my PC and re-install again. or do I uninstall labview and daqmx together and then install daqmx and labview?

Reinstall everything DAQmx.  It will install only the parts you need, in this case, it should just be support for LabVIEW.
