• I can move my default libraries of different readers using Windows 7?

  I built my computer for video editing. I have an SSD for my C:\ drive and I want to make it the default player for my operating system, programs and the Documents folder and little else. I don't want my C:\ drive to be the default location of my music, pictures or videos library. I have a disc M:\ I want to be the default location of the library of music. I want all the files of music and other audio files like sound effects, voiceovers, etc. to be stored on the m:\. I also have a drive separate P:\ that I want to be the default location of the library of photos and the location of all the pictures, modified photos and other works of art, and I don't want any of this to go on my C:\ drive.  For video, storage I wanted to have a V drive but Windows says no. I guess because there might be confusion with a

  ------and a / being too close together, so for video storage, I have a HARD drive bigger designated S:\ disk for storage of videos and other things that require a lot of storage space. I don't want any uploaded photos, music or video to go to libraries on the default C:\ drive. How to load Windows 7 to do this? I want that music library on the m:\, the image on the drive P:\ library and the library of videos must be on the S:\ and I don't want music, photos or video libraries on my C:\ drive, can I get Windows 7 to do this?

  Libraries are virtual folders. They adopt any significant amount of space on the hard drive (the value by default 4 libraries use about 100 KB of disk space) and they don't use shortcuts. You can add a folder to the library and a library that contains 10 GB of files will use approximately 50 kilobytes of disk space.

  The reason why they are named library is because they like the town library in your city that contains books from around the world.

  The libraries provide a convenient way to view the files that are contained in many other cases and in many other places. You can view files in folders on other drives or, partitions and even network locations.

  When you open a file in a library, you actually open the physical file in the folder that was added to the library. If you delete a file in a library, it will be removed from the physical folder.

  To free up disk space on the system (c) disk, you can move the physical folder (for example, My Documents, pictures, music, videos) that is included in a library to a different location.

  1. go on the target drive where you want to move the folder and create a new folder with the same name.

  2. on the C: drive, navigate to the folder that you want to move. Click on folder and select the tab properties/location.

  3. click on the move button and select the new folder that you created in the target drive.

  Hello everyone, I'm looking for a way to separate my distinctly different music on two separate iPods. My PC has 54 GB pop/rock songs and classical music of 23 GB ones, and I want to be available only on his own iPod, an iPod for the classical music and one for non-Classical each kind. Ideally, the playlists would go with appropriate music.

  The PC is W10, iPods are the Classic models.

  What is the best way to achieve this, please?

  Your library may already have a classic playlist. (See Restore Original smart playlists , if it is not.) You can expand the playlist rules, or change the properties of the tracks as required such that it contains all your classical music. You can then create a second playlist corresponding to all of the rules:

  • Playlist is music
  • Playlist is not classic

  and give it a name, for example, not classical or Rock & pop.

  Set each relevant device to sync with the playlist.

  Dear members of Lab View discussion group,

  I would like to ask for some advice on how to stop the removal of two different signals at the same time. I was able to confirm that they start at the same time (the timestamp on the first call of loop-based) sampling, but the time of waveform for my two signals is very different.  The signal AE samples always on time, but the charge indication always shows about 1.5 to two seconds longer acquisition time.

  I don't see that you need two separate loops. Also skip the timing of software. I'm guessing that causes your boredom.  Simply put the playback in the loop running read NOR-9221-NOR-6221. Perhaps placing them in a framework so both are read before data are written to the file. I think also often extract data from your buffer OR-9221. You read the second pr 500 times buffer. Perhaps the lover to 50 times this pr then. So every time you read the traction OR-9221 10000 samples of memory buffer and the buffer NI 6221 40. And for now just ignore it. Stop your loop then you have run 100 times. Assuming that you read 10000 samples of the NOR-9221 on each iteration will then have read 100 x 10000 samples equal to two seconds of data

  I just bought an iMac "towards the end of 2015" to replace my iMac 2011. I'm a Mac (MacBook Pro and iMac) user since 2005 and I am aware of the installation of the Migration Wizard when you first install a new Mac. However, for some reason, I have an iphotos library and a library of photos. Can anyone tell if migration assistant will consolidate in a single library or I have to do (manually?) before migration?

  iMovie is now only opens on my iMac 2011 (part of the reason why I bought a new iMac). There are projects that must still be finalized that it contains. Speculation as to whether the data migration is likely to result in my getting access to these existing projects? Worst case scenario would be that everything that is corrupt iMovie on my current iMac is transferred to the new machine. My guess is that what stop imovie to open 2011 on the iMac is not related to the data that make up the project, so that when I migrate to the new machine, I go back to my projects. Can anyone confirm this?

  Last question (base); What are the recommendations for what should be my time machine drive? I currently have 1 Tb internal, more an external of 2 to 3 TB of disk. With the new machine equipped with connectivity Thunderbolt that I will be in the market for a new external hard drive. because the new machine has 2 TB drive internal pot and am looking to get a disc hard thunderbolt of 3 - 4Tb, should I still 5-6 to time machine as backup (assuming I get nearby using all available space my on my internal and external drive)?

  No, it won't merge.

  Using both programs such as libraries have different content that needs merging? When Photos import iPhoto library, it creates hard links to files, not copy, so they do not all the disk space.

  Ok. That's my problem.

  At my work create us different styles of clothing. All of these styles come in different models of AI that adapt to meet the demands of customers. Each of these styles should be done with a specific set of color swatches, and these colors differ between styles. We have had several errors when the artists mix shades and use evil for a particular style.

  So what I need is to find a way to automate this process and reduce errors. The ideal way would be to create a script that allows the artist to enter the style number and with this information, open the corresponding model HAVE this style as well as the related color swatches. However, I read in some forums that it is not possible to open a swatch from a script library. Another idea that came into my mind is somehow open the default swatches every time that a specific model of I is open. Is this possible? Remember that each fault must be different for each model to HAVE.

  Don't know who told you that cannot open a swatch with a script library or why they told you that... Here is a simple script, my team uses:

  SO I think that the obvious thing to do is select "optimize storage" in the settings of cloud photo which clearly says that they will be in the cloud and the computer. But here's the question...

  If my IMac is low on space will start serving the original photos so that they are FAIR to Icloud?

  and if I recover my space again once on the iMac will be the original re download back to my iMac?

  You may not use the setting 'Optimize storage' - select ' download originals for the Mac ", if you want than the originals, to be stored locally on the Mac and on iCloud.

  So that 'download originals to the Mac' is activated, all of the original will be kept on your Mac as well.

  It will not start original purge, as long as you keep "Optimize storage disabled".

  Optimization of the storage with the storage management is automatic.  Photos will download the originals if you need and remove, if more storage is needed. You cannot control this.

  iCloud library is no backup. It is a synchronization service to keep all your libraries on different devices synchronized and updated. If you accidentally delete photo from your library, it is not possible to restore from iCloud. Deletion can be synchronized to all devices and iCloud, so the photo has disappeared everywhere.  You need a backup separate from your library on an external drive, even if you use iCloud photo library.

  I have several platforms iMac the OSX later. I always use photoshop and Aperture. Advice-first keep your iMac updated, because this will allow you to receive the continuous RAW digital options that work with your current OS x, iPhoto and the final version of Aperture. I have several libraries Aperture on my iMac different platforms. I always use the opening on these different platforms - but I've named Apple 3 t time capsules to save and store all my different libraries for different platforms. There is no replacement program 'good' to complex structure out there yet to justify a risk to transfer your opening libraries. Good luck.

  Write less data in the file that you have collected requires the reduction of certain data.

  There are three techniques to consider.

  With an average or an average of block - both reduce the data by using a function of averaging, defined in the module. To accomplish the reduction of data, choose block or RHM mode in the dialog box properties, and then enter the number of samples/data values that you want to reach on average.

  Average - when you reduce the data, you also should reblock data using the block length of the change in the output parameter. For example if you enjoy at 100 samples/second with a block size of 64, the average module configured on average, more than 10 samples will take 10 times longer to fill a block. The initial block represent 0.64 seconds, the output block represent 6.4 seconds at a sampling rate of 10 samples/second. If you change the size of output in one block, the program remains sensitive.

  Average block - average values in a block against each subsequent block, where the average is based position. The first samples are averaged, all second samples are average... etc. The output is a block of data, where each position has been averaged over the previous blocks. This is how you will be an average data FFT or histogram, for example, because the x-axis has been transformed in Hz or bins.

  Second technique - separate module. This allows to reduce the data and the effective sampling rate jumping blocks or samples. For example, to reduce the data in 1000 samples / second to 100 samples per second, configure the module to keep a sample, jumping 9, keep one, jumping 9, etc. If you configure to skip blocks, you will not reduce the sampling frequency, but will reduce the overall amount of data in a single block 9, for example. It is appropriate for the FFT data or histogram, for example, to have the context of the correct data.

  Finally, you can use a relay and a synchronization module module to control. For example, to reduce a sample data every 15 seconds, configure a generator module of TTL pulses for a cycle of 15 seconds of time. Connect it to a Combi trigger module and configure it to trigger on rising and stop the outbreak directly, with a trigger value after 1. The trigger output connects to the X of the relay command input.

  In addition to these techniques, you can change the third technique to allow a variable duration using a combination of other modules.

  Many of these techniques are covered in the help-tutorial-Quickstart, as the data reduction is one of the most frequently asked questions.

  In regards to the FFT... use the module of statistical values in order to obtain the Maximum and the Max Position. The Position of Max will be the value of the frequency associated with the Maximum value. The output of the statistics module is a single sample per block. Look at the different FFT sample installed in the worksheet calculation/examples folder.

  I am writing a program in c# to collect data of voltage.

  I want to allow the user to toggle the channels they wish to collect of (up to a maximum of 4), refers to the number of samples and the sampling for each frequency and write the log to a file of PDM. I think Task.AIChannels.CreateVoltageChannel call four times to create the four channels and Task.Timing.ConfigureSampleClock four times to set up the sampling parameters individually.

  Similar threads seem to indicate that a single channel of AI must end sampling before another channel of AI could begin. Is this true? My method would work?

  You right about that, there is only a single clock controlling the task, so there is no possibility of setting the channels at a different pace, and the API would use a final which has been set up.

  A common practice when different high sampling rates are required is to sample the fastest rate required for all channels and then "decimating" data for slower channels, so you can get the number of samples that you expect.

• CVI 8.0 OR-DAQmx 8.9.5 compatibility?

  New laptop, installed CVI 8.0.1 then NOR-DAQmx 8.9.5 driver provided with acquisition of data USB-6211. Unit works very well with the help of MAX.

  When you select tools/create/edit the CVI DAQmx tasks... a pop message says: "this feature requires NEITHER-DAQmx. Please install OR-DAQ from device drivers CD OR or check your installation. »

  However, NEITHER-DAQmx appears in libraries.

  The sample program compiled Acq-IntClk, but some error message is displayed when the application is run:

  "Procedure entry point not found SetEnableResourceTracking in cvirte.dll.

  "Unable to load nicvidu.dll, check your installation.

  If I continue through errors, the application seems to work.

  Any installation or compatibility obvious problems here?

  CVIRTE to version 9.0.1 update fixed everything.

• FPGA loop timing and data transfer question

  Hello community,

  two really matter of rookie on FPGA timing loop. Attached a screenshot of the data acquisition loop I created. The different modules have different maximum sampling rates, then what will be the speed of the loop? It will adjust to the slower module, or can I use a timer loop?

  It's the loop of the acquisition, but I need to treat the data as well. Currently I transmit the data to the processor loop through which fixed the length of array FXP. I guess the best would be to use a FIFO. Can you confirm this? Or I should use something else?

  Yes, loop rate will be determined by the slowest module. If you have some really slow analog input module, you might want to put in a loop for your fast IO. You can always put calendar information in your loop to display your real rate of loop using a shift register, subtract and a number of cycles VI.

  You're right - without loss of high speed data acquisition (without losing all the data points), you must use FIFOs. If worry about missing points data (i.e. only interested in current value), then the front panel indicator reading is fine.
