  I would say that microphone set as default, you follow the instructions below:

  1. Click Start and click on Control Panel.

  2. click on sound, then a new window will open.

  3. in the new windows, click on the 'Registration' tab and right click in the window and click Show disabled devices.

  4. now check if the Microphone is listed there and right-click on it and choose activate.

  5. Select the Microphone, and then click "Set as default".

• Cannot get my microphone to work

  I got the microphone job and then decides to move toward the rear of the front. Now I can't make it work is taken. The computer says that it's working but it does not take into account my voice. It is a very cheap microphone, but because it worked once I don't know what else to try to get it working again. I followed all of the suggestions online and still nothing. I am running Windows 8 on a hp Pavilion 500 PC. Control audio dts would have something to do with it?

  Running Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit Ubuntu 10.04.1 64-bit host as a guest.  After installing and upgrading everything (including VMWare tools) when I try to enter the unit I get the following error:

  The virtual machine cannot be set to Unity mode.  Check that the unit is supported for this guest operating system and the latest version of VMWare Tools is installed.

  I believe that the network card is the 8168 8169. I don't remember the hand. You would like the Win7 and WinServer 2008 R2 driver (Version 7.065) I'm not on my laptop, so I'm out of memory which is not always good. Wireless network card works since the drivers used by Windows 7 if I remember correctly, because that's what I used to download all the drivers I needed for the other stuff.
