Sorry mate but could you please provide more detail?
If I understand your original post, you have installed the new Windows 7 system on this Libretto W100 camera. Right?
Now the question: have you installed the software Toshiba essential?
You will find on the page of the driver Toshiba UE drivers and tools for the Libretto W100.
The + v + 1.0.22.00 software booklet is an essential element and its strongly recommended to install this part!

Libretto W100 Windows 10 - all features via 3rd party (instruction) applications
Recently I was hunting for a UMPC to buy and who to is passed through a W100 on EBAY, and after a brief google I bought it immediately!
Its an amazing device, but Windows 7 really does fall. It's slow, unwieldy, and honestly not too usable.
However, Windows 10 is worlds apart when it comes to touch usability! Combine with Toshiba idea of the full screen keyboard and a virtual trackpad and the W100 a laptop full blown surprisingly usable. Win10 runs miles better than Win7, and things like scroll, zoom and pan is via texturing (like the iPad) so its smooth as!

Power reaction on each screen Libretto W100
Hello world
I just bought a Libretto W100 for me and it's like a dream from afar.
I have a question that I can't find the solution on this forum so far.
Is it possible to leave one of the screen on / off (light only, when touch)
For example, when reading a document the second screen is grayed out first and after that it will close. However, when the first touch screen the second screen lights up. I like to leave the second wide screen (or the first screen) while using only one another.
Hope there are some people being excited at the Libretto W100.
See you soon,.
KhoaHello
As far as I know, you can just pass the screens by simply tapping on the function button on top of the application window.
You can switch between mode double full screen (two screens as a large screen) and double (two screens in separate windows) simple mode using the active window
And you can switch between active windows active window right, left, low or high and ActiveWindowDual

Issues of model libretto W100 - 106 (UK) - 3G, Windows 7, etc.
Hello forum,.
Just bought a brand-new W100-106 (old stock but sealed package, the latest version of the BIOS, etc.) and I have a few questions, I would like to ask if it's okay.
Absolutely LOVE with this machine, but would like to know:
1. is it possible at all that I can upgrade the machine so that the 3 G module sold in the W100 - 10 d on the continent (Italy and Germany only I think)?
The commercial parts on support "Topaz" page shows me several modem boards if I search on "an a" 3 G and HSDPA. The one who does belong to the Libretto W100?
I probably need a 'real' connection PCB rather than fake mounted in the W100-106. No idea what the part numbers are?
2. the U5400 is a Core i3 processor derived with x 64 using the statement. The libretto W100 will run Windows 7 64 bit?
3. is there any intention to support Windows 8 completely, i.e. some fix for metro applications requiring more than a screen resolution 1024 * 600, possibly combining two LCDs form office one? Any chance Microsoft will correct the problems for agent Windows 8 coming out later this year?
Thank you very much in advance!
> 1. Is there anything that I can upgrade the machine so that the 3G module sold in the W100 - 10 d on the continent (Italy and Germany only I think)?
Well, maybe you can do it from the module 3G is a part removable miniPCI.
AFAIK the W100 - 10 H was fitted with such module
I found a compatible 3G F3607gw module part number: P000531030> 2. The U5400 is a Core i3 processor derived with x 64 using the statement. The libretto W100 will run Windows 7 64 bit?
According to the Intel CPU support Ark page 64-bit instructions located so Win 64-bit should work
http://Ark.Intel.com/products/49156/Intel-Pentium-processor-U5400> 3. Y at - he no intention of supporting Windows 8 completely, i.e. some fix for metro apps which need more screen resolution 1024 * 600, possibly by combining the two lcd, one desk shape computer screens? Any chance Microsoft will correct the problems for agent Windows 8 coming out later this year?
I think this can be answered by Toshiba only and not by members of the community.
But I think you should wait for Win 8 and need to check if the drivers would be available for this device -
Libretto W100-D10 - change OS language from Italian to English
Hello
I have a Toshiba Libretto W100-D10, who have an Italian version and wants to set up initially in
English.Any help or info appreciated, thanks.
Hello
As far as I know the Win 7 Home Premium has been pre-installed on this laptop.
Cannot change the language of the OS in a Home Premium version.
Only the enterprise and Ultimate editions support Multilanguage pack.Die if you must install a version English of the Win 7 Home Edition on your W100 or you would improve the Ultimate or Home Premium Enterprise version and then you must install the English language pack

Hello
I have a lot of problems of cursor on a new Libretto W100. Using the field courses on the display it move it in the opposite on the top of the screen. Then I go to the right below, the cursor moves in the direction towards the top left. The only way I found to stop this problem is a full reboot. And then it works OK, but when I close the lid and leave it alone for two hours, for example, come and activate the problem reappears. I especially don't even touch screens to avoid confusion between the machine. But I can reproduce it consistently.
Very annoying. Any seen elsewhere or have a solution?
Kind regards
Wim.Hi Winm
Since when you noticed this behavior? On the first day?

Libretto W100 - 10 d - 3 G Module does not work after the installation of the system
Hello
I just reinstalled the software on my Libretto W100 - 10 d, from the internal HARD disk recovery partition recovery procedure.
After the intervention, I have a clean booklet; all works well, except my 3 G Module is not recognized: the SW of Wireless Manager is not installed, and the 3G module does not appear in Device Manager more!
It seems that the 3G module is not installed! of course before the recovery procedure, it worked like a charm!
I suspect something has disabled the 3G module (usually something similar happens in the BIOS...)
Can someone help me so that the 3G module working in return?
Of many tanks and best regards
Hello
Have you checked the settings in the BIOS?
To be honest I'm not quite sure if BIOS contains separate power switch or option Wlan 3G but you must absolutely check it m.To access the BIOS press ESC and F1
Where would the BIOS contains 3 G or Wlan option, make sure that this option is enabled. Then visit the Toshiba UE driver page and download and install the Ericsson 3 G driver
This is the driver for the 3G module. -
Libretto W100 - keyboard won't go away when I press the button yet once
Hello
I have a Libretto W100 and I need to make the keyboard disappear by pressing the keys on the keyboard on the left.
I formatted the booklet and installed all the drivers.
After the format I run the application of Toshiba button support and registered the button KB (single click), to the path target C:\Program Files\Toshiba\Libretto\TOSSWKBA.exe
The keyboard appears on the screen when I press the button, but it will not disappear when I press again.
Maybe I need to put something in the option field. Thanks for your help.
Hello
I read in another thread that Kaspersky 2010 version was not compatible with the touch screen of booklet.
The new 2011 version seems to be compatible.
Maybe you need to use the latest versionCheck it!

Will there be a Libretto W100 with Haswell of Intel CPU?
I'm in love with my Libretto w100.
I upgraded to 256 GB.Now, it takes an upgrade to Haswell.
This would solve 2 main criticisms:
-battery life
-noise because of heating.A booklet with Haswell would be the best computer in the world.
You are just gerdich
The Libretto W100 was truly a great unit it s a little bit older, but so far the two screens and virtual touch keyboard are futuristic piece of hardware. However, given that the serial number of the unit is already suspended, I think n new t processors will be built in the W100.

New double tactility of Libretto W100
We just bought the new Libretto W100 with Panel double touch screen, but we do not think very well with the 'sensitivity' of the 'touch': sometimes we touch the screen and nothing happens, but if you touch slightly more strong that works like the 'double click' or 'triple-click '.
We have already tried to calibrate the Panel, as shown in the manual, but the final behavior has not changed.
Please, can someone tell us if and how is possible to define the "sensitivity" of the two touch panels?
Thank you
Hello
As far as I know it of not possible to change the sensitivity of the screen.
The point is that it's a real TOUCH SCREEN and a capacitive as not supported by the Iphone for example.I'm not very well if it can help you or not, but you can try to use a stylus (as for a PDA device) m
Good luck

Toshiba Libretto W100 is hot and fan still works
Hello
my new Toshiba libretto W100 is still very hot and the fan is still running.
Even with programs that use few resources.
If I use programs like Trackmania or Fifa 11, the temperature rises again, and the fan works very quickly and loudly. Is this normal? reduce the temperature and noise?
Thank you. Best regards.Hello
I think you use high hard who insist a lot on the CPU.
This causes higher heat dissipation and therefore the temperature drops to a higher level and this is why cooling modules run faster. So in my opinion, everything is ok here; It s nothing unusual in the world of computing. the warm air must be removed, and so the fans run at a higher speed.
I think that the fans don't run faster if you use low performance applications. Right?

In your case I would recommend you contact the ASP in your country and the technician must check this module maybe it needs to be replaced.
