I use Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 for Mac OS X. Last week my computer crashed. I now have a new hard drive, and most of my data was restored.
However, when I try to run Dreamweaver I get a message: "license for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product... »
Perhaps foolishly, I had never bypassed to the recording of Dreamweaver (despite periodic reminders), even if I use a legal copy, bought in the store with its own serial number, and I guess that's the reason why I now get this message.
I'm not a computer whizz-kid and nervous about what to do next, as I would not lose data or parameters.
Exactly how do we uninstall Dreamweaver? And when I reinstall I'm still currently having all my existing sites intact, as they were before?
Any guidance would be most welcome.

Dreamweaver CS3 uses the old system of licenses, which really blows. Licensing for CS3 applications on my computer stopped working several times, and each time, it is a task to an hour to get it up and running again.
You will need to download the licensing repair utility for your system (Windows or Macintosh).
Delete / {boot disk Volume} / Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher, via the operating system or the Terminal.
Run the "LicenseRecoveryLauncher" script provided by Adobe. When the opportunity to work normally (entry) or remove (0), press ENTER to run normally.
Reactivate your software.
You will need your serial number of product very convenient.

I have the PS3. A few months ago, I had an iMac 27 "10.11.2 opportunity and transferred my PS3 (plus any creative suite 3) top. There was a window that says please register in 5 days or it will be inactive (or something like that). I did what I was supposed to do and have appreciated the help of PS3 on this new iMac. When I went to the Adobe Uninstaller I saw NO PS3, but see icon with "Add or remove Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium" with a small arrow, that I have the means to think his alias and I don't know where he lives. Can someone help me get back my PS3? Thank you!
Please stay on point and help me with my problem of PS3 and not encourage me to upgrade to what is current. I have SP6 here, but want to keep the PS3 will.

Whenever you retrieve from a backup Time Machine, you will break licenses and need to run a repair. I know. I did it twice. As the instructions given in the doc to Adobe using own isn't enough for someone new to the procedure, I set up a screenshot guide. Layout error 150:30 opening Photoshop cs4 on Macbook Pro
If you go through this guide to screenshot and do exactly as indicated, you won't make those mistakes. Perhaps it would be good to read first. I carefully put in place this guide, my instructions are good in their current form, do not do anything else.
In the first post #11, I forget to add a space after "sudo python" before you drag the licenserecovery.py to the command line, and I never load any type of break line or
before you drag the script. Second: In #15 if you simply slide the script into the window, it will be on the same line. What you see is the packing of command to work around the size of the window, but it is always on the same line and will run when you enter your password.
You will also see that there is a space between "python" and the script in the screenshot.
Again, if you are new to this, read first.

Same fixed. At executed license repair tool, Adobe - Adobe licensing repair tool, and it fixed the problem.

Help, please! I used the Migration Assistant to transfer all my Time Machine backup to my new MacBook Pro. When I try to open Photoshop or InDesign (CS4), it tells me that "a license for this product has stopped working". You must disable and uninstall and make a correct installation! IF you can even install the old software on a new Mac

My old computer has Photoshop CS3 (and Illustrator CS3) installed. The old computer is dead. I did a Time Machine backup from another computer of backup", who had both of these installed applications. (2 installs is allowed). I have records of origin for both applications. My new Mac lacks a DVD player. So, I downloaded two applications from Adobe. Photoshop: I launched the installer, & Photoshop CS3 is not installed. Then I installed the Photoshop. I'm using Adobe CS4 on Mac OS 10.10.5. Friday, Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.0 version no longer works with this message: "License for this product has stopped working" and the instructions to uninstall and reinstall the program. I did, but now, again, I have the same message pops up in the middle of my workflow. Nothing has changed in my program Adobe CS4/CS5.5 licensed facilities to cause this error.
What is the solution please? I found only the instructions related to Windows on the forums.

Dreamweaver CS4: "license for this product has stopped working": error 6
I'm working in Dreamweaver CS4. Suddenly, I'm unable to use the program at all. Windows 7 is the operating system.
It opens and the load, however a white box is displayed indicating that "licensing for this product has stopped working" error 6. Then the program automatically stops.
I have a valid version of DW CS4 which I have used for years. The original DVD is here with a valid serial number always on the case.
Already I ran the "Adobe licensing repair tool: nothing helps.» I followed the procedures outlined tool until the 4th and final stage - nothing.
I need to access this program as soon as POSSIBLE because I need to update a Web site with it. Time is crucial.

My copy of Photoshop CS3 on Mac OS / X Yosemite suddenly crashed during usage, and when I tried to restart, I got a pop-up that said "license for this product has stopped working." I tried (twice) to reinstall the CD-ROM by following the instructions, but it did not help. How can I solve this problem?

You will be running a script in the Terminal to fix the license.
Leave a space after sudo python, and then drag the script in the window.
When asked for your password, do not see the points or see the cursor to move. Enter it blind.

This product was a direct download of Adobe, my backup does not work either.
With absolutely no help from the staff of Adobe, I was able to find a solution to the problem. Everyone at Adobe support couldn't tell me where I could download the files I needed. Finally I found them.

First, you try to use a very old product on the latest operating system. So, who can create problems.
CS3 has never been tested with Mac 10.9. Thus, it may or may not work. You can always give it a try.
CS5 should work well on Mac 10.9.
Speaking of the license error, now seems that you have backed up your data using Time Machine from your old Mac and who have restored this new Mac. If so, which damaged the licenses of Adobe products.
