License with Adobe Acrobat Pro problem
I have a problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro as part of Adobe Creative Suite CS 6 on Mac OS X 10.11.6: Adobe Acrobat does not start. Whenever I try to open a pdf file or the itsself program (Acrobat), Acrobat appears inside the docking station, as well as within the monitor activity for a few seconds, but never actually opens and then disappears from the docking station and the activity monitor. No error message appears, namely, what is the problem.
During the last two weeks, I tried the suggestions basically all troubleshooting I found on the web several times, mainly:
- Try to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat by itsself as well as all of the Creative Suite (of course, using "Adobe Installers")
- Running the Creative-cloud-Cleaner on my computer after uninstallation and before the re-setup
- Deactivate and reactivate my license Creative Suite (using InDesign to perform this task, given that Acrobat does not open)
- etc.
More funny thing is: when I try to deactivate the license via InDesign, Acrobat will not show even as one of the programmes concerned, see attached screenshot.
That is why, in my view, the problem could be a licensing problem. The reason why I had the problem in the first place, could be the following: I accidentally uninstalled Adobe Acrobat while being offline. After that, as mentioned above, I tried- and reinstall the program and all of the following several times while being online - but no result.
I'm happy for any suggestion. Assistance telephone Adobe doesn't seem to be available for this product and I have redirected to this forum when you try to start a chat support with Adobe, I'm happy for all the help from the community!
PS: I guess that's not relevant, but I'll talk anway: another application, "Adobe Crash Demon" shows within the activity monitor, every time I open InDesign (but isn't, when I try to open Acrobat). The content of the error message does not mention Acrobat.

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, I couldn't find very useful advice in the log files, because I'm not very experienced in the search for log files and I could not find solutions to the error messages on the web.
But, fortunately, an update of the system for Mac OS Sierra finally helped me to solve the problem. Obviously, the update changed some system parameters and / or preferences, and I finally could start once Adobe Acrobat. He is still vulnerable, however. It seems, I'm having some trouble with my graphics, too, but I guess I'll be able to fix those shortly.
I am very happy, Acrobat is finally running once more!

Please provide the exact point of the software & OS installed on your system. Also check if it is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check updates.

I'm can understand your concern & will guide you in the right direction. Can you please let me know if you have a subscription to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or it is a perpetual license?
As with a perpetual license, you will be able to use the features on the mobile App using the same license, and it will ask you the extra envelope. However if it is a subscription simply simply Sign In to the mobile App using your Adobe ID with which you sérialisiez the Acrobat Pro DC on the computer to use these features.

Our office has 10 licenses for Adobe Acrobat Pro. One of our computers crashed so we want to deactivate the license and reinstall on a new computer. How can we check the serial number on Acrobat Pro installed on each computer to determine what serial number is now unused? I don't want to die with the computer software

It is not possible to disable the license from one computer crashed or possible to check which serial number has been used on computer because they are encrypted.
A retail license is good to be installed on 2 machines. I checked your account and found 4 different serial numbers of Acrobat registered for your account.
It is always suggested to buy a volume license, if you have more than 2 machines instead of buy 4 different serial numbers.
I checked all the serial numbers entered and you have sufficient activation count remaining to cover all your machines.

Are we able to purchase volume / multiple licenses for Adobe Acrobat Pro XI for several devices?
You will need to purchase licenses of Acrobat DC volume & then do volume license downgraded XI Acrobat by contacting the Adobe volume licensing team.
This is only possible in i.e special case, you will need to purchase Acrobat DC volume licenses.
Another option is to go for ETLA where you will be able to download the old version. I will recommend you contact Adobe Volume licensing team Business software licensing | Purchase Adobe programs for assistance on this issue.

Problem with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI break with a PDF to fill several pages
I'm working on a project at work, on a Dell E6420 (Windows 7 Pro, 8 GB of Ram, Adobe Acrobat Pro XI), involving files PDF fillable. This means that a program takes excel data and converts it into several pages of information of fillable PDF to the screen used to auto fill in other servers. The problem is that when we convert about 10,000 rows of data (1000 + pages) the file will convert, but not open. The CPU fan turns, but nothing appears in the Task Manager, no errors are produced, nothing. The cpu hits 100% treatment, the fan turns and then winds down and the file never opens. I know that is not the corruption of data that I can take the same excel file, split in two, convert the two files, and I can open each created PDF file (about 790 pages each) separately. It will not now then, open both files at the same time. We tried this on multiple computers, with more than enough processing power, so we do not think that it is a matter of systems, but a limitation of the Adobe program.
I researched that Adobe has a 2 GB limit on the size of the file? These files are spell to 790KB - 1000KB in size, but are filled with fields to fill in, so I think it is misleading. Any ideas? I am desperately looking for help on this.
Here's a solution, and if anyone can explain why, I would like to know if its something Adobe can update/fix.
By unchecking "Enable Adobe JavaScript" I was able to get the files to open. So, apparently it is a resource or a similar limitation when using Adobe's JavaScript on the forms to fill out? Is turned off, it opens without a problem. Can someone help explain this?

I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro on my computer (mac) and it has been installed successfully. However, when I try to open the program, it requires a serial number. The Acrobat installer is built on a different technology than the rest of the apps and so the difference of update.
Now that Acrobat is updated to v 11.0.07 you still get the original error "installation corrupted... reinstall?
Regarding the update error, try to download the update manually from: Adobe - Acrobat: for Macintosh
and install and check.
