Life of the SR memory card?

What is the life expectancy of the SR memory card?

They die in a few years?

They are based, so there is a finite life based on the cycles of record, but I think that the number is on the extreme side, so is not really a problem of flash memory.

  • How to get RSS feeds on the Journe Air 801 via the external memory card?

I bought the Journe Air 801 digital photo frame and the manual says 'save the RSS feed of the album that you want to display in the .rss format and add to the external memory card', but he said not how you create this .rss file or copy it to your memory card. Anyone know how I can get a picasa rss in this format?

I've successfully added a picasa feed manually in the framework but as picasa updates only the RSS if new galleries are added, not new photos, the photo feed is not updated on the frame so I would change the rss address.
    Thank you

    Hello palomaroma,

I am also a user of Journe Air 801.
To add RSS feeds, please install the software from the disc attached.
Insert the sd card into the frame. Connect the frame to your computer.
Start the Photo Frame Wizzard. Flow RSS Acount (s) is displayed.
Now you can add RSS feed addresses.

    Hi Paula Sommers,.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

I understand how it could be frustrating when things do not work as expected. Please, I beg you, don't worry I'll try my best to resolve the issue.

    ·         What is the brand and model of the computer?

    ·         Did you try to connect to the memory card on another computer and check if it works?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         Memory card not detected on the computer?

    ·         You use any application to transfer files from a memory card?

    ·         Were there any changes made on the computer before the show?

I suggest you to follow the steps in this article and check if it helps:

  • Remove the SDHC memory card on Clip + 8

My apologies for what probably sounds like a stupid question.

I recently bought a Sansa Clip + 8 and I love it. I also added that a SanDisk SDHC 16 card brand.

Here's my problem. My memory card is almost full. I got a few drafts more so I can pass the according to what I want to listen to music, but

I can't get the player card.

How all he does? I can barely feel the edge of the map. And when I try to draw it seems not to want to move. I'm afraid to raise as I don't want to break the card or drive.

    Thank you.

The delicate sod is actually spring-loaded (and it has a powerful spring - I lost a card 8 GB from there - so beware!). With the help of your finger or nail, press the card more (probably the opposite of what you thought), and then gently move your finger back - map should Gush. Given my chance sooner, I leave the card and location covered by my hand when I do now, in the case where the card pops out a little, uh, energetically...

  • Formatting the SD memory card

I didn't know that it would erase all my pictures to format my memory card! I need them back please help me get my photos from my son back! I tried the trash... and searched through my computer is it past. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP MEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello Li1pr1ncess,

Thank you for posting.  I'm sorry for your loss.  But the nature of formatting is that it erases all data from a drive completely and he prepares for new data.  Everything gets wiped from a disk or a device when it is formatted.

There is no recovery option which will answer your data/images. Zack

Original title: Micro memory card reader

When I plugged in my card reader to the USB port windows says that the device has been installed and ready, but my pictures came not, where should I go to find them. Am I missing something?

    Hello

    1. What happens when you connect the card reader to a different USB port?
    2. Are you able to see the pictures when connected to another computer?

I suggest you save that data if it works on another computer and then try to format the card reader to the NTFS file system

    How to get in shape?

    1. open computer management by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click computer management.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. in the Navigation pane, under storage, click Disk Management.

    3. right click on the volume that you want to format and then click on format.

    4. to format the volume with the default settings, in the dialog box format, click OK, and then click OK again.

  • Address of the inserted memory card HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer - N911a

I upgraded to this printer from a 6500 more which allowed the map SD be accessible with I.e. through the address IP of "memory_card" followed by printing the full syntax in my situation was http://192.168.0.111/memory_card the problem is that does not work on the 8500, and not more than other permutations I tried as the 'memory '. , "memory card", "SD" etc. does anyone know what syntax works on the 8500 , nobody knows why it cannot be the same syntax for all? Setup and user's guide did not touch this topic on the 6500, or isn't on the 8500, and is not in the FAQ on the 8500, apparently I'm the ask only a single, and my need is not uncommon. Thank you in advance for your help. Dean

    Hello

I don't know when / if there has been a change or we live just the strangeness even . I couldn't go to our 8600 using the same method as you who seems to think the habit of work. Our IE has been updated, so something could have changed there but it's the method I used that worked: in IE or simply explore (if you use windows 7 don't know if works for vista or below) type: \\ipadress\memory_card . It is possible that the IP address may have changed with the new printer. Do you have the ip address or make sure it is correct?

There is a Panel sliding below the bar of red light glowing on the front of your case. Push down on the Panel to expose the audio, usb and card reader. Click on this link for a Video demo of HP.

Microsoft did not your hardware - done HP.

All support for it - regardless of your operating system - is the manufacturer of the equipment.

  • Lightroom 5.0 does not automatically open the import dialog box when the inserted memory card

Lightroom 5.0 fails to detect the memory card and import dialog box open. It has always worked well in Lightroom 2, 3 and 4.  Same cards, same camera, same iMac using OSX 10.8.4. Manual import works OK, the card is detected fine.

Thank you very much, this TOTALLY WORKED for me.  Win 10, LR 5.7.1.  An inserted SD card of Nikon D7000 in the SD card reader built-in to laptop and Windows automatically started both Lightroom AND automatically went straight into LR import feature.  Perfect.

(However, if LR is already running, insert the card SD initiates not import feature, despite having turned on the required checkbox in the preferences.)  Nevertheless, it is progress!   :-)
