OK so far this LX 3000 works for an app for TeamSpeak and I guess that will work for other applications such as Skype and messeging apps, but it will not work with the sound to play music or movies
I can't allow him to play the radio on the internet like pandora via the browser
I can't make it work with Spotify, which is an online radio application stand alone
I can't make it work with Window Media Player (WMP)
and I downloaded the software from microsoft but still life cat not go
and I checked all available and also control panel sounds and
and I hope this isn't a setting he'll cut other apps but if so I would be able to listen to music while I use such application of TeamSpeak chat
so I need to get this to work on multiple applications
1. don't you make changes on the computer before this problem?
2 have you checked the work of the headset correctly when it is connected to a different USB port and in another computer?
Try these methods and see if it helps.
Run the hardware and devices troubleshooter.

Previously, I used my LifeChat LX-3000 headset with my machine Windows 7 Beta and it worked fine. I've recently updated to Windows 7 RC1 and now I can't not all sounds through them either. The laptop speakers work very well and when I press the button "mute", the led turns on, but when I look at the volume of the headphone mixer is not present among the devices that I can change. Anyone else running into this issue? All the solutions you can think?
Looks like I found the answer in one click right on the speaker in the sys tray icon and selected "reading devices". From there, I saw «Headphone Earphone» option I clicked on it and then on the "Set default" button. Now, it seems that it works very well. It's just different how manipulated beta Headset USB.

Just bought a laptop Sony Vaio 64 bit. Tried to install the software for the LX-3000 headset. Does not work. It seems that Microsoft needs to do some work update, which will be compatible with windows 7. Don't know why they sell this * if it does not work properly! Kind of a RIP-OFF I would say! By reading this forum, it seems that I'm not the only one who's been watered.
I suggest you to see link below and check if it helps.

I have a Dell XPS 1530, which had Vista 32 bit running. I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate. Ever after that the Bluetooth of DELL BH 200 headset does not work with my laptop.
The bluetooth adapter and the device is fine since I'm able to search and find all bluetooth devices, including my helmet. However, I get a yellow exclamation on the headset under devices. The headset can be paired with other devices such as my mobile and works very well.
I tried to update the drivers and reinstall the device and the adapter from the Device Manager. We have a similar setup on my brother's computer and it works fine.
Another thing to watch, would be what battery is used. I know from personal exp some devices work with Toshiba stack, vs the MSFT pile up. Do a search and see if anyone else uses a different battery with these devices. I can listen to different media sources using headphones, but with Mozilla my headset does not work when you try to stream my favorite (kfjc.org) radio station broadcast archives. Sound continues to my crappy Laptop speakers.
Thank you! It worked.
Happy Holidays everyone.
I just bought this laptop 3 days ago.
the speakers are ok, but when I tried to listen to music using a headset, it doesn't! I went to the portion of sounds in the control panel to check if my headset does not work. He says he works. to check this further, I used the option "test" of the computer. I heard the beep on my left and right ears. but when I try to listen to music and watch videos, only the speakers are workin, NOT my headphones.
Please do help me. I don't really know what to do.
I think that you have Vista.
Looks like your earphones must be defined for the playback device by default because your speakers are still to play the audio.
There is a white speaker icon in Vista right next to your clock, rightclick it choose the playback device and you will see the window come in the middle.
Normally the speakers to be on speakers with the green check mark.
If there is a category for headsets or USB headphones and told to work then you must right-click on your helmet and choose set as default playback device, then apply, ok and restart the computer.
Hi, my headset does not work on my Q10. I tried different and all do not work. Any advice?
When you plug the headset speaker should get muted. Apparently you have a problem to contact with the Jack of the phone. You can bring back for warranty repair.
What I've noticed, is that you have to push very strong to get the plug completely. Did you really pushed hard enough?

original title * headset not working not
I woke up this morning thinking that she's going to be a sunny day until I made that I can't hear any sound on youtube.
Now, my reaction was to unplug my headphone to my audio jack cable and plug it in again. And then catalyst SHOULD be launched and has notified me that my headset was plugged. But it does not. Then, I realized that my plug in microphone works very well with my microphone. Which was good.
BUT I noticed that the ONLY way for my "playback devices" figurentsur helmet was if I moved a little left cable into the audio input jack, my headphones would work, but only my right side of the helmet. But as soon as I stopped to put pressure on the left to my cable DISCONNECTED headphones and I had to do it all again. Now, I don't know if it's because of my Windows I installed yesterday WINDOWS 8.1 PRO or because my helmet AND my audio jack are *... Also it does not with another helmet either. So any help from ANYONE, I would be really grateful if I could hear again...

The question is limited to the YouTube Web site?
Sound problems can be caused by cables that are not connected properly, damaged drivers, incompatible drivers, sound settings, missing updates and problems with your sound card.
I suggest you to external speakers as peripheral by default and check if that helps:
- In the area of notification of taskbar beside the date and time system, right click on the speaker icon and select playback devices.
- In the sound dialog box that is displayed on the playback tab, click speakers/headphones playback device to select it and activate the buttons below.
- Click Properties, and then in the speakers/headphones Properties dialog box that appears, under the Advanced tab, click default settings.
- Click apply or OKand you're good to go until you try to reconnect the headphones or speakers.
If the problem persists, try the steps in the Microsoft Help article and check if it helps to solve the problem:

Using the Lifechat lx-3000 headset Windows XP, sound only comes out of the right speaker. Microphone works very well. I checked the balance, changed the usb connectors, reloaded drivers and checked the other solutions of this forum answers to just about any other problem with this headset and nothing has helped.

I bought the lifechat LX-3000 headset 5 months ago. It is in a great shape and worked really well until yesterday.
I just played online, also using a program called TeamSpeak3 to discuss with my friends when my microphone started to Crackle.
Although the sound (playback) is good, not crackling all playing music or hear other people talking.
Change USB ports (twice) and I always kept on the Web at mattress 'default' in the properties.
Test with 3 different programs. (TeamSpeak3, Skype, recorder of windows).
Furthermore, I use Windows 8.
now, not only that mic is crackling, no one can hear me when I speak, not even if I yell it.
Thank you very much for the help!
The drivers for the headset Lifechat LX-3000 is available only in Windows 7. I suggest you to download and install drivers in compatibility mode for Windows 7.

I used the "Windows Easy Transfer" tool to move my apps, settings, and files on my new computer. But the tool has not worked very well. 'Transfer' puts things, but win 8 of the new computer does not see my Apps from your old computer. For example, I use Open Office 4.01, but if I go to 'Control Panel' to see what is installed in the "Programs" Section, there is no open Office installed 4.01. The program seems to exist in an environment and windows doesn't see it.
y at - it a way to make Windows 8 see all my apps I transferred? So I can manage them.
Also in the future it would be better if all the "Windows Easy Transfer" from old computer applications and took the check to the new layout key, turn the key on the old model. In this way, all of my stuff would work on the new computer the way it is supposed to.
Update: Win 8 sees Open Office 4.01 when the search tool, it can be found, but Open Office 4.01 does still not show in the Program\Uninstall Menu in the control panel.
FireFox also works perfectly well, but it can be found by using the search tool, and it does not appear in the Menu Programs\Uninstall. If it wasn't on my desk, it would be difficult to find.
I wonder if this has something to do with some information indexing in progress, and if I wait a bit 8 victory will start to see my software?
All software should be: Easy to install, easy to update, easy to uninstall and easy to Port again a new machine.
Update: I used the Lenovo rescue tool to return my new PC to its original factory installation, purchased the software PCMover and carried everything using PCMover.
Works very well. But I don't see that software porting is a matter that must be developed by software developers. With more people who buy software online, porting of old software while respecting issues related to licensing hassle is something they need to improve.
My port Dragon speech recognition software not properly. It is a dynamic software that evolves as use you it, so reinstalling is something you never want to do.
OK, this issue is also resolved that its going to go. Thanks for your help.
Now to see if Win 8.1 will install correctly...
