Light windows problems 7 HP Pavilion 17-e027sf

Hello

I have a HP Pavilion e027sf 17. I didn't like windows 8 so I installed windows 7 instead. I followed the link below to get the drivers for windows 7, because the laptop is designed for windows 8.

http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/wireless-Internet-home-networking/driver-LAN-Ethernet-USB-PCI-for-HP-PA...

All the drivers have worked perfectly, but I have two problems. First the brightness menu does not appear in my laptop. I reinstalled the driver of such generic Pnp monitor suggested by others but who did not have some say it can be a problem with my motherboard driver. The brightness of my screen is locked on the maximum brightness and it is annoying so can you help me with this? Second problem is that the keyboard shortcut keys (volume +, volume, brightness,...) do not work. Is there a driver for windows 7?

Thanks in advance

Brightness problem solved by installing this driver http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows%208%20-%2064. Quick access keys where actually work (only the brightness keys were not), but after installing the driver worked the brightness keys.

    original title: problem writing Photos...

I'm sorry, but I don't have a solution for you.  You can check the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK) to see if there are warnings next to your CD burner.  If there is a caution icon, double-click the entry and see what it says under "device status".

I don't know how you use picture & Fax Viewer to burn a CD.  The usual method, except if you have 3rd party CD burning software, is to use Windows Explorer.  This is what Windows XP Help & Support has to say on this topic:

To copy files and folders to a CD

    1. Insert a blank, writable CD into the CD burner.
    2. Open my computer.
    3. Click the files or folders to copy to the CD. To select multiple files, hold down the CTRL key while you click the files you want. Then, under file and folder tasks, click copy this file, copy this folder, or copy the selected items.

If the files are located in my pictures, under management of images, click copy to CD or copy all items to a CDand go to step 5.

    4. In the dialog box copy items , click the CD player record, and then click copy.
    5. In my computer, double-click the CD burner. Windows displays a temporary area where the files are held before they are copied to the CD. Verify that the files and folders you want to copy to the CD appear under files ready to be written on the CD.
    6. Under CD writing tasks, click write these files to CD. Windows displays the Assistant burn a CD. Follow the instructions in the wizard.

    Notes

    • To open my computer, click Startand then click my computer.
    • Do not copy more files to the CD that it will hold. Standard CD hold up to 650 megabytes (MB). Large capacity CD contain up to 850 MB.
    • Don't forget that you have enough disk space on your hard disk to store the temporary files that are created during the CD writing process. For a standard CD, Windows reserves up to 700 MB of available disk space. For a high-capacity CD, Windows reserves up to 1 gigabyte (GB) of the available free space.
    • After you copy files or folders to the CD, it is useful to view the CD to verify that the files are copied.

  • Windows Server 2008 on Pavilion h8-1170uk

I am trying to run Windows Server 2008 on a Pavilion h8-1170uk. The software works ok but will not connect to the network. I found a thread on the forum to discuss a similar problem with the Pavilion p7 - 1227c, which recommends a link for the appropriate drivers. However, these drivers do not work on my machine because it has a Realtek network controller, while the p7 - 1227c has an Atheros one. Are there any appropriate drivers for my machine?

    Hello:

The driver on the link below should work for you - a 6th on the list (Vista and WinServer 2008 Auto Installation Program (SID: 1568647)).

  • No drivers for Windows 7 for HP Pavilion G6-2260sh

    Hello

I recently bought a laptop HP Pavilion G6-2260sh. on the site of HP Unfortunatelly there are only drivers for Windows 8. I don't want Windows 8, I need Windows 7 operating system.
When I got the laptop there is an installed Windows 7 Ultimate with drivers. So it must be drivers for Windows 7 for HP Pavilion G6-2260sh... somewhere, unfortunately I messed type of windows and now it needs to be reinstalled. I asked a few questions autour and the guy who sold me the laptop and this is the situation:
My laptop is with AMD processor and video card. He told me to reinstall what version of Windows 7, I want, then install the wireless card and ethernet so I can connect to the Internet. Then download and install a small program called "amd autodetect", this program will automatically find and download all the drivers.

I don't have ethernet internet at home, I have only wireless.

The problem is: after installing Win 7 how I'm supposed to install the wifi card to get this internet connection and deal with the AMD AUTODETECT program with all the drivers?

Could you point me to somewhere I can find a driver for the wireless card. ? If there are drivers for everthing will be great! I'm looking a lot.

This is the laptop (I DIND'T know what is relevant, while I posted everything)

    HP Pavilion G6-2260sh

    Microprocessor: 2.5 GHz AMD Dual-Core A4 - 4300M APU

    Chipset: AMD A70M FCH

Hard drive: 500 GB SATA (5400 RPM)

Multimedia drive: SuperMulti DVD +-R/RW with support double layer

    Display: 39.6 cm (15.6 ") HD BrightView LED backlit (1366 x 768)

Network card: integrated 10/100 BASE - T Ethernet LAN

    Wireless connectivity: 802.11b/g/n; Bluetooth

Sound: Speakers Altec Lansing with Dolby Advanced Audio

Keyboard: Size texture style island with numeric keypad

Pointing device: TouchPad supports multitouch and power button actions

    External ports: digital media card reader! VGA, 1 HDMI, 1 headphone, 1 micro-in, 1 USB 2.0, 2 USB 3.0, 1 RJ45

Camera: Built-in digital microphone HP TrueVision HD Webcam

I am a woman and not much of an installer so I'm stuck here somehow. I know how to install the operating system and drivers if there are drivers. But I have no drivers and do not know what to do.

If you have any other suggestions outside the "amd autodetect" program, we invite you to share them.

If I have no other option than "amd autodetect" I'll need to install the card wifi somehow. Y at - it universal driver for wifi for HP Paviliom cards?

    Thank you!

  • Windows 7 on Hp pavilion 2301sq g6

Hi, where can I find the drivers for windows 7 for hp pavilion 2301sq, because I want to delete win 8 from my laptop and install windows 7, but I can't find a driver for this operation sistem.

    Hello:

First make your W8 recovery media set before installing W7.  See the info on the link below for how to do this.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03481733

You should be able to use all of the drivers and software of this model.

Your model has the AMD/Intel switchable graphics, if you only install the AMD graphics driver for your model that will install the drivers for the two GPUS.

DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?OS=4063&LC=en&cc=us&DLC=en&sw_lang=&product=5278311

If your laptop is WiFi Ralink card, use these drivers wireless and bluetooth.

I received a call from the saying that they would help my dose of my windows problems. Is it a scam?

    Hello

They are cold, you try to pick up the 'business' calling

    It's a scam.

Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.

You are the only person who knows if you gave them remote access.

If you gave them remote access and you do Internet banking, contact your bank, to explain, and change passwords.

If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.

And the only way that willl you know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And Microsoft does not contact you unless YOU have made prior arrangements with them to do.

There is an article in the link I'm you provide at the end of this one

    Read this Information from Microsoft:

  • Missing programs, perhaps a Windows problem

I was working on my computer very well, I've been on the internet for hours without problem (no antivirus warning and I wasn't downloading anything, only normal pages), and I have existing, up-to-date antivirus.

Well, the problem is that most of my installed programs have just "party" and some standard Windows programs are gone too. Programs, I had on my system for years and have used several times without problem simply disappeared as well as programs such as calculator and paint. Well, they are the programs that I realized that I have lost so far. To give you an idea, go to start, programs, and usually 1 columns 3/4 programs are displayed, it is now maybe 2/3 of a column. When you go into program files, there is nothing in the missing programs, it seems that they have been uninstalled.

I have done a complete analysis of the system through Norton Antivirus and came up with nothing. I restarted and then a box come to say a word about "Windows is unable to complete the program installation..." something in this direction, and nothing has come on my desktop except for the desktop, My Documents and trash. I did a restore of the system at the point of older, two weeks ago, and it came up saying: "we cannot complete the system restore, no change has been made."  Arghh!

I'm computer literate and worked a bit in the it helpdesk and I have absolutely no idea. I think since this is a Windows problem that we may have to clean this completely and started from scratch with new windows. I you gave as the screenshots I can, to maybe give you an idea of what is happening. Note on the last note of screenshot that there are a few things has highlighted. I did not do that, then maybe it's the question? This is the "InstallShield Installation information", "Uninstall information", and "windows update". Also, I am happy to install Real VNC if that helps diagnose the problem. Can you please guide me the case, before you go to all this effort?

    Thanks in advance.

iPod touch is recognized as a problem digital camera.the says it's a windows problem...

    Hi cuteshey,

Welcome on the site of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

    Solution 1: Update the drivers

    (1) the Device Manager open, either by right clicking on computer and then click on manage, and finally on Device Manager, or by typing devmgmt.msc in the box then find (or run) on the bottom of the start menu and press ENTER.

    (2) find the ipod, he (should) be listed under digital cameras, right click it and choose "update driver software".

    (3) select "Browse my computer for driver software".

    (4) for the location (you must have already installed itunes) use C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers (replace C: for what is the letter of your system drive), and then click Next, windows will find the driver here and continue to update the driver
    (5) after the update is complete, click Finish to close the dialog box, then disconnect the ipod and plug it in again.

Solution 2: This seems to be a known issue with the iPhone and iPod touch from Apple, I would suggest also allows you to check the link that contains the iPhone and iPod touch: Disabling digital camera notification in Windows Vista

    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1500.

Juice to ensure that it is not not a Windows problem check the Apple Support Article: iPhone and iPod touch: disable the notification of digital camera on Mac OS X

Solution 3: If the issue is not resolved, it is recommended to contact Apple for iPod Touch http://www.apple.com/support/ipodtouch to have the best support or you can reach the Dell Forums: http://discussions.apple.com and check for extra support and check if they have new updates on this issue and if they can help fix the same.

Let me know if that does or does not work. Good luck!

    Hope it will be useful.
