Lightning network adapter has stopped working

Hello

All of a sudden, my (original Apple) map network Thunderbolt has stopped working. I'm looking for advice to get it working again without reinstalling. This is the second time in 6 months that it happened, and the last time a reformatting it fixed and restore my entire user account does not restore the problem, so all signs point to something in the heart of the system and not "userland".

Why I know that the adapter is not the problem:

-Adapters two colleagues also do not work

-Adapter works very well in recovery, but not once started

What happens when I plug:

-Lights led network switch, so a link is established

-L' adapter remains 'red' in the network settings

-dmesg shows:

IOThunderboltSwitch < 0 > (0x0): listenerCallback - HPD Thunderbolt package for road port = 0 x 0 = 1 disconnect = 0

[Start of PCI configuration]

[End of PCI, bridges 14, 15 devices configuration]

No obvious signs of problems.

Steps taken to solve the problems:

-If I delete the card of network settings, I can never add again; He simply never shown even if it is plugged in and the link light is on the switch.

-Crushed/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and restarted. Always impossible to add the interface, as mentioned above, it never appears.

At this point, I am of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Figured it out... it's driver Linksys USB3GIG crap that breaks the kext IONetworking signature.

ERROR: invalid signature for com.apple.iokit.IONetworkingFamily, does not load

After removing AppleRTL815 * from /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ and restart, thunderbolt ethernet is back

  • Satellite L770 - ethernet adapter has stopped working

    Hello
I have three laptops all connectable to my home hub, but I seem to have serious problems with the latest model, L770-13D. The signal strength has never been as good as the older models, and most recently the Ethernet adapter has stopped working. I have updated drivers on the two adapters, but it did make a difference. I recently updated my connection and I wonder if the Ethernet adapter is not configured correctly because it was working fine before the upgrade.

I also tried almost all the tests I can do - Toshiba config doctor returned a FAILURE on the verification of the material that I did, but the device manager says that the two network cards work OK. Also, troubleshooting reports wireless adapter that it "can be a problem", the evidence seems to be directed towards a hardware problem with this laptop.

    Any thoughts?

Have you noticed this Ethernet problem on the first day? Otherwise, I recommend you to reinstall the OS using original recovery image and test once more with the factory settings. Recovery image contains the drivers right and tested. It is also configured to be used immediately after the first start, so it shouldn't be a problem.

    Have you ever done this?

  • Satellite C665 - Ethernet adapter has stopped working

    Hello
A few weeks ago, I noticed that the ethernet adapter has stopped working. It has disappeared from the Device Manager, and I can only access internet by wifi.

When I turn off wifi and connect the ethernet cable (which connects to the modem) nothing works.
I tried to restore the windows settings, but that didn't work.

    Can someone help me?

It is possible that the LAN module is defective.
All you can do now is to check and install the original recovery image and check the functionality with the factory settings. If the problem persists it is definitely hardware problem.

I think that it is not worth to fix it if you can continue to work with WLAN connectivity.

If you have a key of Windows on your keyboard, press Windows + R

Otherwise, right click on start > properties > customize > Advanced tab > scroll down to the list of "items on the start menu" until you get on 'Run' > check the box "Run" and OK your way out.

The WMI Performance Adapter (wmiApSrv) service provides information of suppliers of Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) performance library to clients on the network. This service runs only when the Performance Data Helper is activated.

  • network printer has stopped working

I have a Dell Vostro 3400, running 32-bit Windows 7. I installed the drivers for a printer laser jet HP M1212nf. I can print when I am connected via a USB cable.

  • Why my wireless adapter has stop working on my brand new hp pavilion g7-1338dx.

I ran the wizard network without success and reset my router several times. When I get it to connect, it will stay connected until I stopped. Then when I turn on the computer the next time it doesn, t want yo connect.

I appreciate all your advice, but I've had a lot a more simple solution. Got a new router from AT & T and Walla, no more problems.

The only thing I can think to problems with my old router that supported 8032.11 a, b and the new router that supports 802. 11A, through 802.11 g

    Hello:

    Yes you can.

    You need:

  • Adapter Ethernet Thunderbolt has stopped working after update 10.11.2.

Hello, after my update to 10.11.2 on my MacBook Pro retina 15 "mid-2015, my crush Ethernet Adapter has stopped working. It comes in the reporting system and it shows that it connected to ethernet, but in the network Panel, the State remains red and I don't get an IP address.

My colleague who has a MacBook 2013 15 "retina Pro also has the same problem. We tried the retail adapters Ethernet Thunderbolt, but still no connection on one of our networks.

    Anyone else see this behavior?

Same problem here on my end 2013. In Recovery Mode, the card works (good trick to know if hardware is broken). Roll back via Time Machine works 10.11.1 and adapter. Adapter and 10.11.2 relocation does not-MBP-R all my colleagues in different years work well after the update.

BTW. : not only Thunderbolt Ethernet does not work, but the cards virtual Parallels (for shared and host-only) as well (only bridged mode works).

So far, all the stuff has failed. And now I will notify again before the update.

  • Satellite Pro L20: Adapter WLan has stopped working and will not allow

    Hello

I have a L20 Pro Satalite, which works very well. However, just before Christmas 2006, the adapter wireless (Atheros AR5005G) has stopped working.

Windows XP Pro SP2 can see the adapter and network connections shows as being activated, but he sees not all networks.

The Atheros Client Utility says that the adapter pases troubleshooting TI test diagnosis up to the Radio, when he says that the Radio is disabled and must be enabled in the Client utility.

'Excellent!', I thought: opening the utility forward. Looked in the Action menu to find "turn on the Radio" is greyed out!

    Help!

    Any help is very welcome.

    See you soon,.

    Barry Smith.

Is there a hardware option to enable and disable your wireless network card? (switch)
You upgrade your Wlan driver recently? (If Yes, maybe with the wrong driver?)
