  This is mainly due to my bad video codecs. Please upgrade to the latest version of the code pack installed or disable the mp4 codec or the creation of thumbnails.

  Also try these methods.

  Method 1

  Start in safe mode and check.

  1. remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

  2. click on the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart.

  3. If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

  4. If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and then press F8.

  5. in the display Advanced Startup Options, use the arrow keys to select the option of safe mode you want and press ENTER. For more information about the options, see Advanced startup options (including safe mode).

  Finally, it seems that your problem is more general, but feel free to zip a bad bill with puppets and they send me to [email protected]. Please change the file extension to "zap", otherwise I could never get it (zippers are blocked).

• Any ideas? Premiere Pro CS6 crashing whenever I try to import clips!

  Hey everybody,

  I'm relatively new to Premiere Pro CS6 (gradually switching to Final Cut), so forgive me if there's any details miss me. I have real problems with getting the app to work, unfortunately.

  Here's the problem:

  I can create and save projects very well. Nothing is slow or appears bad. However, every time I want to import clips (in any parameter of project/sequence, or codec, as well as different types of clips from the camera), Premiere Pro instanty throws a message - immediately - to say:

  «I'm sorry, that a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro stop.» We will try to save your current project".

  It is literally impossible around that, that I can tell. I tried all different types of clips, all the different import methods (for example drag / move, media browser, file > import), but nothing. It isn't even a matter of film - the same applies even if I just try to import images. Oddly, with grag and drop - method if it is a video clip, PP registers even how long the clip is, highlighting where the clip will insert - she normally would be - but then instantly crashes after abandonment and/or trying to read. This led to believe me (because I never saw a single visual image in Premiere Pro) there could be a graphic bug - potentially something wrong with my system.

  For any help or suggestion would be received with gratitude. I have attached to the report of crash below and some features of my system.

  PS just Gunna do a full update of my Mac OS X to bring it up to 10.8.3. I doubt that this will fix the problem, but it's worth a shot, and if no bed I'll let you all know.

  Hey everyone just updated:

  I think I've solved the problem!

  No idea what it was, but it would either have been:

  (a) restart my MacBook (unlikely!)

  (b) update the firmware from Apple

  (c) update the Apple Retina Display update

  (d).. .the above all of that!

  He actually started to work before you go on 10.8.3, so not associated with OS X.

  In this case, my apologies for the long post - hope it helps everyone in the same situation in the future. Moral of the story: the Apple software update!

  I use Lightroom CC since October without updating and had no problems recently. Lightroom would matter not all photos either. It would freeze just when I tried to import anything. I tried different files, folders, etc and nothing worked. I just upgraded to the latest software and now Lightroom crashes whenever I try to import a DNG file. I hope this is just a small issue and will be fixed soon. I am able to import Jpeg files without problem, but cannot locate the cursor Dehaze more? Am I missing something obvious? I need to somehow enable it in the preferences/settings? Thank you, Daniel

  After that I got repeated falls, I must have downloaded a previous version of lightroom CC from adobe. I've just updated to 2015.6.1 and everything works fine again!

  Before accidents did not produce an error code. Lightroom would literally just indefinitely freeze and I have to force it to quit.

  1. Turn off apply tone auto under Lightroom preferences settings
  2. Restart Lightroom and then import images again.

  When I try to import image files with the new dialog browse computer and point the Explorer select a folder on all the right places, none of my image files are visible. I just get "no element not corresponding to your search.

  However, I am still able to import from a USB SD on my Win 7 desktop PC card drive but Lightroom is no longer able to recognise the content of my hard drives as a source of import since the "upgrade".

  The option to browse computer, you will be asked to select a folder.

  In case you want to select a particular folder, then please select it in the left panel.

  everything I try to import images of the map, I get a message that says lightroom could not read image. The card reader works because I can import pictures from another app like iPhoto.

  The most common problem for errors "failed to read", it's that your destination folder has WRITE permissions added.

  In your LR import dialog box, verify that the destination folder is where you want it to be and correctly spelt.

  Then, using the Finder, go to this folder and make sure that your username has both READ and WRITE access to this folder and its parent.

  Could you please check the Destination folder in the import on the right side window.

  Also please try to import images to another location on your computer.

  Please make sure that you have permissions to the folder where you try to import images.

  Or you can try to change the location of import of images in Lightroom.

  If you were able to import by changing the destination on the desktop, it means that the issue was due to the location of previous destination.

  You didn't have all the permissions to copy pictures to this place and for this reason, you are unable to import.
