  Since it runs on Windows OS up to 8 according to system requirements, I guess that it is running on Windows 10 too.

  However, this is not a recommended use. Looking at all the improvements and new features of LR5 LR6 I suggest to upgrade to LR6 - upgrade for the standalone version is only about $ 80.

  Well, son of a gun... looks that microsoft has made changes in their updates.

  Now when you run the "'get 10 app Windows, check your PC ' it reads in devices..." "0 problems found."

  Looks like Microsoft do with last-minute changes, as you indicated, and others have mentioned about being patient on this matter, that they may (?) have addressed this problem.  Probably won't suddenly course up until the update is done.

  Guess for now, I have to score this as accept as a Solution.

  It is important to know if you can get all the drivers for your model laptop and Windows XP. This should be checked on the official page of Toshiba:

  Satellite C660-12R belongs to the PSC0QE series and as you can see all the drivers for Windows XP are available so to install XP should be no problem. You can download the drivers official and pre-tested. :)

  5. it resulted in a first-class screen display using the default size of 100% and its good even at 125% (editable via the Advanced display settings.

  So everything is good and I thank you all for your help.

  PS I did a complete system and docs backup Image and also created a repair of the Win 7 System / Boot disk before you start the above, just in case things went wrong.
