Lightroom Mobile make Public

A vision for Lightroom Mobile is to make a Studio Shoot teathered and send the selected images to a client using 'Make Public' which provides a unique URL which can be sent to a customer for its display on his own computer, laptop or Tablet and comment.  The process works perfectly until the client wants to comment on one or more images.  When the customer clicks the 'comment' or 'Like' icons, he is immediately asked his Adobe ID and password, or sign up for the Adobe I identification code can't imagine a customer willing to do that, unless he has already an Adobe customer in all probability identification code is even aware of Adobe.  The only justification that I see to ask an Adobe ID must indicate which returns the comment.  Why don't you just ask the customer name and email address (you know since you sent the link to him by emil), which should be sufficient to identify it.  Without this change, I discovered this vision for Lightroom Mobile as a failure.

Can it be implemented in a future update?

  • Problems with synchronization to Lightroom Mobile

I have the following problem with Lightroom Mobile synchronization:

In Lightroom desktop, it seems that the collections will be uploaded correctly (number of images down to zero). The changes will be also loaded.

In the web interface, I see somtetimes collections and sometimes not. I can make it appear if I chose the "make public collection" in Lightrrom desktop.

In the iOS App there is absolutely nothing happens: "it has no collection.

  • Lightroom Mobile downloads Original instead of Smart Preview

When using Lightroom Mobile and looking at the pictures I imported about Lightroom desktop, the mobile application only download an overview of smart (as it is supposed to).

But when I look at the pictures that I took with the built-in Lightroom mobile camera (iPhone 7, DNG format) and then synced to Lightroom Desktop app downloads always the Original again instead of a smart prediction, even after deletion of the application cache.

Is it possible to change this behavior so that the application always download a smart preview instead of the Original?

In LRmobile preferences, you can uncheck the option ' Load full resolution ", which should make things (although you would probably clear the cache once the image has been downloaded on Adobe servers). Note, however, that the copy of full resolution of the original file captured on the iDevice will be always downloaded to Adobe and thence to servers down for Lightroom on the desktop.

  • Live better Photo Support in iOS 10 / Lightroom Mobile?

So as I understand it, Apple iOS 10 changes facilitate the developers to integrate their applications to support direct photo. I'm curious to know if Adobe will update Lightroom/Lightroom Mobile to support photo format better? I'm still sad that when I download my files in Lightroom and then rinse out my camera, I'm losing a lot of good information - either that or makes it really difficult to access.

  • Annoying "disconnected (e) Lightroom mobile ' dialogue at the start of Lightroom.

I have a standalone version of Lightroom.  I did not sign upward for creative cloud but Adobe imposed a free subscription of one month on me at the time.  I asked Adobe at the time just to remove the free membership of clouds.  I don't want anything to do with the creative cloud at the moment.  I've never used and I've never used Lightroom for mobile.  Every once in a while I get an email from Adobe telling me my creative cloud free subscription has expired.  Just today got such an e-mail.  And now when I run Lightroom I get a dialog box "disconnected (e) Lightroom mobile" that will appear I must dismiss.

How can I stop this to happen, other than uninstalling Lightroom completely (which I think seriously - I really don't like the underhand tactics of Adobe trying to lure me or wrong by writing to creative cloud)?

    Thank you.

I actually found the answer in another message here.

I had to make sure that the synchronization has proved

  • Copy of Lightroom Mobile iOS App Photo

I'm test Lightroom for Mobile on my iPad Air.  I added a few collections, but cannot find a way to copy easily all the photos in a collection on Lightroom Mobile in an album on my iOS iPad App Photo.  Someone at - he found a way to make it transparent?

Adobe - ideally, I'm looking for a feature that quickly export a collection to an iPad Album in addition to the message, e-mail, copy/move to new or other features collections in Lightroom Mobile.

In the grid view, tap on share. Now, click on the photos. Tap on the scale. Choose to save the Images.

They won't in a specific album. In addition, if you have a collection of automatic import of the film, it will be important files that you just saved.

  • No camera in Lightroom Mobile icon

I have a Sony Xperia Z3 of tablet with Android V6.0.1.

Lightroom Mobile displays an icon of camera on the bottom bar for a reason, just 'Add Photos '. I tried to reinstall does not and it of the same thing in landscape mode or portrait.

Also tried it on a Hudl2 Android V5 running, anyway.

Works fine on my iPhone 5 s. When installing on the iPhone actually he asked for access to the camera, which didn't happen during installation on Android devices.

Any ideas? Maybe a problem with Android tablets? I'm much more likely to be edit some stuff on a Tablet than a phone.

    Hey mhk1058,

LR Mobile capture feature is not currently supported on Android tablets. But if you do not request this feature, I'd say posting on the Feedback website so that other users can upvote it and comment on it. This is where our engineers hide bugs and feature suggestions.

  • Lightroom mobile

If I spend my Lightroom Catalog to a new computer and sync for mobile, when he removes the mobile synchronization made the stay of data on the iPad where Lightroom mobile is synchronized.  I don't want to lose any changes on the iPad.

    Hi Seaniom,

Please note that you can only keep data synchronized in a catalog.

From the moment you start sync on a new computer, it will eliminate the existing data in the cloud.

You must move your current catalog to new computer to keep the data synchronized across.

Please see synchronization of desktop Lightroom and Lightroom app

  • Is it possible to resize the Photos (in pixels) with Lightroom Mobile

I would like to know if Photoshop Express or Lightroom Moble apps have the ability to resize photos (in pixels)?  I need an app that I can standardize on iPhone/iPad and Android phone/tablet.  If not Adobe suggestions.  Thank you.

    Hi oborzo,

Unfortunately, Lightroom Mobile or Photoshop Express has the ability to resize photos using pixels. They both allow you to resize using reports l / h.

Hope that answers the first part of your post.

  • Lightroom mobile app must be opened for CC to synchronize?

I started using Lightroom Mobile and downloaded > 600 images from my phone, which must be synchronized to the computer and Lightroom CC.

It seems that everything in the middle of download of CC images, no more images are synchronized. I check my account cloud and I see that all the images are in the collection in the web pages (cloud).

When I run the Lightroom app on my phone - sync then continues on my CC Office install.

Is it necessary that the Lightroom app be open on my phone for CC to synchronize? Or is the question that mobile actually has not added all the images in the cloud - although the cloud shows the correct number of images? So that even if the cloud page shows that there are > 600 images in my collection, it has yet to receive all the data and therefore the CC synchronization cannot continue?

Currently, synchronization is limited to a few minutes while Lr Mobile is in the background.  -Guido

  • Lightroom Mobile not automatically import pictures - Android

Somewhere along the way, probably over the last month or two, Lightroom Mobile ceased to import pictures taken on my camera for the Lightroom Mobile catalog. I can import them manually, but I got the device set to automatically import. It is always. No idea how I can fix this? Of course I tried reboot etc.

Could you check in the settings (icon of Lr left superior collections veiw) Lr Mobile if adding auto photos + videos is always enabled. If this is not the case, just reactivate the parameter and the value of your collection of target for automatic import again. Let me know if this helps. -Guido

  • Photos from Lightroom Mobile disappear after sync

I started a collection of more than 200 photos that I have imported and edited in Lightroom Mobile on iPad.  I then later opened Lightroom on OS X and allowed the photos to sync from a mobile phone on the desk.  Only 16 of the 200 original photographs came through.  I tried to get the synchronization to continue, but no other pictures would come through.  Then I went to look at the collection on my iPad and photos that were not synchronized on Lightroom desktop disappeared from the collection of the iPad.  It seems that for some reason, the Lightroom Office resumed the sync and only allowed for these 16 photos to be synced and removed the rest pictures which were not synchronized.  After that I contacted Adobe support, they decided that the synchronization mechanism work properly now, and since I never deleted all the pictures there have been a "glitch" synchronization and offered no further assistance.  No one knows what may have caused this or how those deleted photos can be recovered?

  • Recover the catalog from lightroom mobile

    Hey there!

My macbook was stolen, just at the time when I returned from my trip to Iceland and I lost my photos
BUT before flying, I enabled synchronization between lightroom desktop and mobile. This means that all my photos are still on my ipad, but I can't find a way to re-download them automatically to my Lightroom catalog on my new macbook. Is there a way to do this?

    You are my last hope!

    Hello

Could not find a way to re-download them automatically to my Lightroom catalog on my new macbook. Is there a way to do this?

The answer is No.Your the images synced on your iPad are just smart previews of your original images and cannot be recovered or treated as a backup copy of your images.

Collections containing these images are present on our servers until they are be synchronized there by your office. Lightroom Mobile does not act as a container of storage for your files.

    Kind regards
