Lightroom not reconnaoit not the lens profile.

Hello

For some time (LR CC crossing? I'm not on) LR does not automatically recognize the lens used (in the lens correction and profile when on the tick "activate profile correction")) and in calibration it only offer in profiles as "Adobe Standard" (whereas before there was a profile for the device). I said that these are raw or DNG owners and that the device and the objectives are not very recent and previously recognized. I miss qqs chosen? Thank you.

Your answer is correct: the denunciations of my other lenses are detected. It's only lens "TAMRON XR DiII 18-200mm F3. 5-6 3' that don't work.

Thank you.

  • Apply the lens profile in Premiere Pro?

    Hello

I'm new to first Pro and video shooting, when I use DLSR for videos, you will notice some lights fall and lens on the lens distortion wide angle that I use.

is there anyway to apply the lens profile in Premiere Pro, like what we do usually in photoshop, lightroom and camera raw?

    Thank you very much.

No profile of lenses for video. You must make your own and save it as a preset.

  • Lightroom does not apply lens profile automatically

    Hello

I use Lightroom CC based on MacOS.

Unfortunately, Lightroom does not apply the profile of my SIGMA 150-600 mm F5-6. 3 DG OS HSM p014 in development mode, but shows the lens correctly in library mode. All other lenses (CANON) are applied automatically, so it seems that I have a configuration problem. Lightroom shows that the profile cannot be detected automatically and cannot be applied. In the list of lenses, I can choose the target and that the profile is applied.

Support said that this target is not supported. I can see the attached list of the answer all lenses supported by lightroom. And guess what, the lens is in this list. Detective Conan.

So the support team has done a worse job, and did not check the list. I described that I can choose manually, but the response above was the answer.

Any ideas how a.) the coup support team for doing their job and b.) help me with my problem.

    Thank you

    Peter

After selecting the right lens manually, try this:

This should fix it in the future.

  • Correction of the lens profile in Lightroom/Photoshop

I am fairly new to Lightroom and Photoshop, so forgive what may be very novice questions about the correction of the lens.  I've walked these tips to help, but you have not yet found information that solved the problem exactly.

I use Lightroom CC and CC of Photoshop (running on a Mac).  I use a Nikon D750 and the objective in question is a Nikkor 24-120 f/4 VRII.  For JPEG images in question, I had tile control off in camera in order to avoid double fixing the LR/PS issue (and really have been dissatisfied correction in camera).

Like many other people have asked about, I have some JPEG files that I want to apply the correction lens profile in LR, but none exist for that lens in JPEG.  I tried the steps that a lot of people have suggested in many forums (i.e., copy of the RAW profile which is located in the folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Camera Raw /..., to change all the "stCamera:CameraRawProfile ="True"' to 'False', then copy the file in the same folder and restart).  I tried to locate the new profile of lens using LR and Camera Raw in Photoshop.  I closed the program, restarted, but nothing seems to work.

Because it did not work, I got rid of the new lens profile I copied and went in Photoshop, using the "Correction of the lens" option in the "Filters" menu (but not in Camera Raw because it does not work).  In the filter, it recognizes the lens and allowed me to make the correction of "thumbnail".

    So my questions are:

    (1) is the method of copy/text change to adapt RAW lens profile does not work for LR CC or is there another text in the file LCP to be changed to make it work? Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
    (2) apart from the inefficiency of having re - import the Photoshop file to LR are all the problems to fix the way I did it using the lens correction filter in PS?  I couldn't find any discussion who suggested doing it this way, so it was not clear to me if there was a reason to not do it instead.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Could not load profile lenses looks like it would be a problem.  I wonder if your text editor removed line breaks or add or change the encoding to something different.  You could re-edit of true-false and see if things work better.  If I change a LCP on Windows I use instead of Wordpad Notepad because Notepad keeps the characters at end of line and encoding.

The text you see list of LR may not ProfileName it can be the name of the goal or nice name for a lens or something else.  You can change the description read by the man to have a different version: v2a. 2 b v, v 2 c, etc, then you can say that is actually used.

Or, if this description is replicated for each entry profile, then you might need to change not only one.

  • Windows 7 firewall does not not the domain profile

    Network configuration is the following:

Server 2008 Standard with a nnn.nnn.nnn.2 fixed IP address

DHCP is not enabled or in-use (have no idea why)

Workstation is Windows 7 Pro with fixed IP of nnn.nnn.nnn.15 and was formerly joined to the domain successfully.

    Gateway/router is at nnn.nnn.nnn.1

I start the machine Win 7 and can successfully connect to the field (using credentials put in cache maybe?) and I can ping the server. However, the firewall on the workstation uses the profile of private networks, when it should use the domain profile. Run gpupdate/force and get error tried it impossible to contact the domain controller. I checked the local policy on the workstation settings, and they are all set to not configured, as they should be, I hope. How can I get this workstation firewall to use the domain profile?

    -Carl

    Thanks Rohit,

Got if fixed. Seems that DHCP is configured with the DNS setting about to workstation to Server DNS on the Internet. After changing to point to the DNS server on the domain server, which sets that problems and a few questions more than I didn't got to yet. This problem is solved. Now switch to my problems of Hyper-V. (sigh)

  • How to apply the lens profile automatically by default?

Is it possible to apply a profile of lenses automatically when an image is imported?  Or have the default to enable Corrections profile box to selected in the develop Module.

    Thxs

    Colin

Define the default settings from LR to use automatic or default lens profile area and LR should match the right lens with the right profile.

You don't want to specify a specific objective in the default values of LR, because default values are by camera, no camera-lens-combo.

If you have a specific objective which is not automatically get selected (that's what happens with I use a focal length multiplier), then you will need to manually set by filtering by the lens in the library, and by applying a preset that sets the profile of lens to something specific with your own custom settings, or at least that's what I do.

  • Lightroom doesn't list the paper profile

I downloaded the profile for paper Hot Press bright Epson, and it is in the same location on my Mac like all other Epson profiles: library/printers/Epson/ink jet printer/ICC profiles / Pro38.profiles In the Print module under color management, Lightroom displays a list of all the other profiles, but not this one.  Any ideas why it wouldn't show?  The pilot on my 3800 is 6.10 - not the last I think.  Does make a difference for Lightroom?  Thanks for any help.

You should put in each/library/ColorSync/Profiles/or ~/Library/ColorSync/Profiles (the ~ indicates your home folder). You don't want to put it inside the driver. Then in Lightroom choose 'other' to activate it.

The driver should be later, as older versions do not allow you to disable the color management in the driver, which is necessary to be able to use the profile inside Lightroom. On Mac OS X 10.6, you might be out of luck because there's a weird problem between the Epson drivers and Lightroom where it will insist on always color management.

  • 6.6 LR is not my lens profiles

I have a Nikon d3300 with 18-55mm and 55-200 mm kit objectives.  Recently, I upgraded to lr lr 6.6 6.0. Before the upgrade, LR has correctly recognized my lenses (these are the two Lens Kit and some common ones). After the upgrade, LR defaults to a different purpose and has only a list of 8 selection of lenses, none of which are mine.

    Any advice?

I have a NIkon d3300 allowing 'distortion control' during treatment of jpg images. I guess distortion corrections made in the camera and it is not necessary for them using LR

If you enable in camera, you certainly do not want to do it again in Lightroom you will get images overcorrected.

So the solution is to disable auto profiling when you shoot jpg images.

You should probably never have corrections enabled for jpeg files, because there is no way of knowing if corrections were applied by the camera already. Also if the camera fixes were for vignetting, the correction is very dependent on what style of development applied of the camera as well as other factors such as automatic contrast, etc. Those all impact on how it should be correcting an thumbnail. Really only do this properly when you have the raw file.

  • LR5.7 - Enable to choose the lens profile

    Hello

I have a few lenses that are available on the LR5.7 but I can't choose them if I shoot digital - RAW.

Let me explain, I shoot film and digital with a goal. On the LR I can apply the profile to the RAW digital file but not for the "digital scan film" file (JPG).

If I digital RAW, I can choose the purpose of lens Corrections.

    For example:

    Make: Voigtlander

Model: Voigtlander VM 28mm F2 Ultron

Profile: Adobe (Voigtlander VM 28mm F2 Ultron)

If I shoot (JPG file), I can not choose for the Voigtlander lens Corrections! What brands of lenses is not available! Is available only certain brands of goal!

Why? Why I can't see the whole list?

    Thank you

    Best regards

    Ricardo Figueira

Unfortunately, there is no way to apply profiles to target on jpeg files as they were designed only for raw.

  • Metadata profile and the lens do not match

    Hello

I have a Fuji X - e1 and the last update from 4.4 LR running on 10.6.8 16 GB of RAM, all operating system up-to-date software.

The problem is that my RAW of Fuji files do not show the correct lens profile in the develop module. The only choice available to choose is for Fuji X 100 (which I have ever owned or shot). The metadata in the library module are correct for the lens and the camera and also shows correctly in Bridge.

However, with the same software on Macbook Pro a friend - also 10.6.8 LR 4.4, etc - the lens correctly profile to research the goal of the X - e1 self-correction and 18 mm.

I uninstalled LR on the desktop using an uninstall program called Zap, downloaded 4.4, reinstalled and still the same "error".

Any ideas on why 1) error and 2) how to correct?

    Thank you!

There are a lot of profiles for Raw images but much less for JPG images.

LR will only show profiles of lenses that apply to the file in question format. So when you have a JPG image file profiles for the first images will be not displayed in Lr and vice versa.

If you do not correct lens profile in your list, you will need to download it.

For this you need the Adobe Lens profile Downloader.

And for this program, you need Adobe Air.

Download two programs from Adobe website - they're free.

Then, install Adobe Air first and when it is installed, install the Lens profile Downloader.

After installation just to open, it is explicit and display all available lenses profiles once you have selected your camera and lens makes.

  • Lr5 don't auto not fill my lens profile

(Please move this question in the appropriate forum if it is not correct)

I was able to insert 2 profiles of lenses in Lr 5.7.1 before and they worked perfectly as they were filled in the lens corrections Panel automatically

However, I recently had to reinstall windows and even if I have the profile of a lens works well (Canon EF 50 mm f/1.8 VTS) - my other lens is not - I need to select each time instead of it being automatic fill.

Can I have it please the location of the folder to save 10 home 64 bit where we want to insert the lens profiles so that they are auto populated in the lens correction Panel?

I have currently herelens cor 1.jpg

Select the correct lens profile and then click the down arrow next to "Setup" and select 'Save new lens profile by default is'. The new lens profile should now be used automatically.

Profile of lenses Sigma the BTW - is already included in LR 5.7. You should not need to add a lens user profile for that lens. EDIT: Sorry for both these lens profiles are included in LR 6.1.1

  • Where can find lens profile correction for EF 17-35 f/2. 8 the goal using ACR 6.2?

Using Photoshop CS5 Extended on iMac 10.6.4.

I work with wedding photos taken by a friend, but I can't find the profiles of correction lens for Canon EOS 20 d or the EF 17-35 f/2. 8 the goal. When I search online, he said simply «no profiles found online» Is there a download for old profiles of goal? I checked and I'm using ACR 6.2. I don't have the camera so there is no way to take test shots to create my own profile. But it should not be an available profile; the camera is not old?

I don't know why you keep referring the 20 d. As long as the crop factor is the same than your 20 d model camera is not serious. If the lens profile on any Canon camera with a 1.6 crop factor, it works perfectly with your 20 d. However, as noted above, the goal didn't has not been profiled by Adobe for any camera model and it seems that no one in the community of users has created a no more.

FWIW, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for someone else to create a. Since your Rebel XSi has a 1.6 crop factor, you can use it to create your own profile.

  • I can create a system recovery disk that gets installed and updated Windows 7, not the preinstalled HP Vista recovery Partition?

I have a laptop HP HDX 18 that had 64-bit Windows Vista installed, with a Vista recovery on his C drive Partition.  Since then, I installed clean 64-bit Windows 7 Professional of his Microsoft licensed DVD, that I still have.  I kept with all (200 +) of Windows updates.

Now, I want to create a system (Flash drive) for this laptop recovery disk, but my concern is that he will lead the recovery in its Partition Vista original, installed at the factory.   If I use W7 administration tools installed to create a system recovery disc, it will recover the old Windows Vista or Windows 7?  In addition, it would be nice to have a system recovery disk that had the latest W7.

I'm not looking to install the drive link below; However, I prefer the system recovery disk to restore my laptop to its W7 system most recently updated, rather than start over.

What choices do I have?  Where can I find the appropriate instructions?

Sunspirit and jhughey are 2 different profiles.
