• Lightroom slideshow 5: shadow of overlays - only for Mac?

  Hi, in the 5 Lightroom Slideshow module, I use the decorative Panel (you decide if the identity plate or custom text appear in the slide show). I've seen screenshots and tutorials where you could add these superimpositions shadow - there was a section of shadows at the bottom of the collections Panel.

  But it was Lightroom on Mac. In my version of Windows, the overlays Panel does not show the shadows section I see clearly on the screenshots taken on Macintosh versions.

  So: You know this problem and a solution? I have the latest version of Lightroom 5, according to the Help menu. Is this a Windows problem?

• Lightroom Slideshow audio problems

  Hi, I am trying to create a slideshow of Lr but I don't have the ability to add music.  I used to have the tab 'Read', but now he's gone. There is an option "synchronize slides with music" but it is grayed out and is so the option balance audio. Can anyone tell why this is happening please? TX

• 6 Lightroom slideshow clings to the slides

  When I try to compile a slideshow in Lightroom 6, slide show hangs in the preview. If I remove a specific slide, the slide show will appear. The guilty slides have no identifiable difference. I tried to resave the file in JPEG format, but nothing changes.

• 5 Lightroom slideshow displays a black screen

  When I saw or make a slideshow in Lightroom 5 I see a black screen. That I tried using different parameters, images, lengths and with the show registered or unregistered, all with the same result. In a preview, I see performing advancing through the slides; everything remains black.

  Sometimes (unpredictable), the screen is not black, but rather two colors or color separated diagonally washes.

  There are no videos in the salons. (A black screen for a slideshow with a video as the first slide is a known problem mentioned in the Lightroom Journal.)

  Export to PDF works correctly. An exported video shows a black screen.

  I got the screen black slideshow also.  I fixed it by checking (when the slide is open) model of browser on

  to the left of the screen and selecting "Default +" click it, it highlights not so maybe I unchecked it somehow.

  • Go to Lightroom > Preferences.
  • Also please go to preferences > Performance tab and uncheck the box "use graphics processor.
  • Restart Lightroom and see if it works.

• Lightroom slideshow add music

  I am trying to create a slideshow in Lr CC on mac and am unable to add music. I get the message "the music file is not well-formed." I tried to add files .m4a and .mp3 to my library (files imported from various sources in itunes). I'd appreciate any help!

  I found that in closing CC Ps (which was also open at the time) and Lr CC (2015.3) and restarting Lr, I was then able to add music files to the slideshow without displaying the error message.

  Could you please confirm what operating system you are working on.

  Also I suggest you to convert Mp3 files to M4A format then try and add them in Lightroom.

• LightRoom Slideshow Pro

  Difficulties with the insertion of a SWF file created by Light Room - Gallery Flash; I used the pluging Slideshow Pro and the Album has exported to a folder. I tried to insert > media > swf > and chose each of the swf, files in the folder, but none of them would play.

  I have already downloaded the SSP file directly into a folder on my site and it works fine there. Dreamweaver does not seem to invoke the slideshow with the method I've tried.

• Using screenshots in a slideshow in Lightroom

  • QUESTION: How can I use a "JPG" file that was created by the default "Snipping tool" (a screenshot) in a Lightroom Slideshow?
    (1) when I try to drag and drop the file into the slide show, Lightroom does not accept it.
    (2) However, the file is displayed in LightRoom after I used the function "import."
    (3) I even took this file and exported using a pre-series but Lightroom has not accepted by dragging and droping the JPG file in the slide show.
  • -J' have the latest version of Lightroom (2015.4) on a PC using Windows 10 with 16 GB of RAM and a lot of hard drive space.

  You cannot drag and drop a file from a folder in the collection

  Not correct. You can, but you must drag the image with the cursor of the mouse exactly ON a thumbnail of the IMAGE and not the gray outline border.

  Done correctly, you will see the icon change to a smaller version of the thumbnails with a punch, and will focus on the name of the collection (a little) when you pass the mouse over it.

  

  And don't forget no-Collections are only lists of images add you to them, you cannot move or copy the image files in a folder. The original images remain in their folder location.

  Export a slideshow from Lightroom CC, my computer hangs after that is about 10% complete. The only thing I can do is do a hard boot with the power button. I have updated to the latest version of Lightroom and spin Windows 10.

  I just tried to export a slide show using Lightroom CC 2015.4 on a computer Windows 10. I've lived the same cabin. In the latest Lightroom Slideshow module depends on the graphics processing unit. My computer doesn't have a GPU, and I can't run a slide show or export. I have Lightroom 4.4 still installed on my computer. I can go to this version and the slideshow module works as expected. So, apparently, if you want to use the slide show with the latest version of Lightroom, you had better install a graphics with a compatible GPU.
