Lightroom splash screen... (Announcement of adobe for its cloud-based services)

I want to disable the startup screen, wondering I want to sync with the cloud of Adobe... no I'm not, and I don't want to ask me once again... .no box click

IM tired enough waiting for Lightroom load I don't want the loading screen too...
Basically, don't paste an ad and make me wait any longer to use a product that I PAY.

The 'Splash' screen are you referring?

Disable the option in the preferences tab "Général"

    I used Mozy for several years on my MacBook Air. I've never had to restore again but I've done the test restore and it worked fine.

  • Upgrade to Indesign CC 2015.5 - does not open and hangs on the splash screen

    I upgraded to CC 2015.5 2015.  After you have installed indesign, it allowed me to open the program once.  After closing the program, any attempt to reopen causes an error pop up during the splash screen that says "Adobe InDesign CC 2015 has stopped working" and leaves the program.  I uninstalled / reinstalled two times with the same results.  Other 2015,5 improvements seem to be fine, only the Indesign program is having issues.  Any advice would be much appreciated on how to fix or revert to the previous version that worked.

    We are aware of the problem where InDesign crashes on launch while working with library files stored on a network location.

    We are working on resolving the issue and for the moment, please try the solution that we have identified.

    To work around the problem, please follow the steps below:

    Clear the Cache InDesign either by renaming the Cache folder or deleting it altogether. (It is best to rename the folder)

    The location of the cache folder: -.

    Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Settings\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\------\Caches\

    Windows 7 or 10: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\-\Caches\

  • Plan of cloud creative photography: Photoshop starts. Lightroom only. No splash screen

    I have the plan of creative photography of cloud since April 2015. Everything worked fine, then one day, a few months ago, I started not to be able to launch Ligthroom more.

    Symptoms:

    -When I double click the Ligthroom icon on my desktop or when I try to run from the app dnuee, nothing happens. No splash screen, nothing.

    -Note that launch Photoshop well

    I already spent several hours on the subject.

    Here's what I did:

    -disconnection / connected from dnuee, with or without restarting the computer between == > unsuccessfully

    -Rename SLCache and SLstore == > unsuccessfully

    -Uninstall EVERYTHING (all adobe applications on my computer, same cloud Creative, player, air, flash. EVERYTHING). A ran a registry cleaner. Restarted. Reinstalled from scratch, from creative cloud. == > without success. Lightroom does not start. Photoshop does.

    If I look at amt3.log, it says that it cannot find a license:

    Has managed to solve this problem by downloading Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 and using the 'repair' option.

    I don't think that there is any such path upgrade to Lightroom. Lightroom can work with Photoshop Elements or Photoshop as a complementary product to improve and provide features that are not possible in Lightroom itself. For example, with Lightroom, it is extremely difficult if not impossible to remove unwanted objects from an image. Or, there may be sometimes a few necessary dusting that Lightroom cannot do just effectively on its own. If Lightroom offers an easy way to move from Photoshop or Photoshop Elements image in order to more easily accomplish some of these specialized tasks.

  • Lightroom 6 does not. Splash screen will not go away. Task Mgr "not responding".

    Downloaded and installed (twice), you click ok to update the catalog LR 5 (will not find a LR 6 cat, however), but the splash screen will not go away and program will not work.  Circle of blue rotation on forever, task manager says does not.

    Signed by adobe and in return, no help.

    I downloaded and install creative cloud and Lightroom 6 works now, it seems to pick up on initial start-up... How are we suppose to know?

  • Lightroom CC freezes on splash screen

    I've seen a lot of posts on Lightroom CC crashing, but my problem seems to be different.

    I installed Lightroom CC through the CC app.  When I run the application, he asks me to update my catalog.  Once the dialog box "Update Catalog" ended, he launched Lightroom, my catalog appears in the background and then it hangs on the splash screen.  If I click anywhere, it turns black behind the splash screen and the program says it's not answer.  Here is what I tried:

    -WAITED a long time to see if she was doing something

    -restart the computer

    -uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom CC (on another hard drive)

    -leave the creative and revived cloud app

    -offline (via preferences) and recorded in creative cloud

    -a started a new catalog instead of updating a current catalog

    -reset to zero/trash preferences

    No matter what I do, it freezes on the splash screen.  Can anyone help?

    After 2 hours talk time of support with a remote employee access to my computer, he found that it is a problem with my user account.  If I create a new user account in Windows, Lightroom works fine.  So now I can spend the rest of my afternoon trying to figure out how to transfer all my settings to a new account.  Thank you Adobe!  >:(

  • Adobe Illustrator CC hangs on the splash screen

    I couldn't find a similar thread with similar solutions, then we are, about 2 months ago, my Adobe Illustrator CC stopped opening. It starts up and displays the splash screen but then stops everything in "Reading Fonts" (see image below)

    I had not changed anything or downloaded everything I know and I thought it would start working again, but alas.

    I have a MacBook Pro (15 inch, late 2011) race Yosemite 10.10.1

    Things I've tried so far the problem:
    Uninstalled / reinstalled twice.

    Restarted my computer a million times.

    Cleared cache folders according to other suggestions from forums.

    Reset the system fonts and remove all the fonts in the system (by font book, if there is another way to solve the question police please let me know)

    Please help if you can, I'm at a total loss.

    The following is a general list of things, try when the question is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media. You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

    If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

    (1) close Illy and open again.

    (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

    (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

    4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

    5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

    (6) (check the box to delete the preferences), run the cleanup tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC) to uninstall and reinstall.

    OK, if it's Acrobat Pro, the choice is easy. There is no version of Acrobat Pro modern app. Business applications are not, in general, being converted to the modern, Microsoft position 'legacy' as the choice for applications of serious company despite its name suggesting 'old-fashioned, obsolete.

    I've just updated to 3.6 Air (under 4.6 FB) and I now see a problem with my application to launch when the home button is on the left in landscape mode.

    It's on my iPad 2 (current running iOS 6.0). However, this does not happen on my iPad3 (under iOS5.1).

    Launch my app under Air 3.6 on my iPad 2 with button at the House on the left the following sequence occurs:

    -L' splash screen appears correctly.

    -That the splash screen will not disappear, the app to turn backwards and will remain upside after launch of finishing.

    -I turn on the iPad 180 degrees and then again so that it can recognize the good sense.

    I have a few other applications that use the same project as a model and share the same code of launch. An application that I have compiled under Air 3.4 does not have this problem at all on the exact same iPad. The launch sequence works flawlessly.

    I have a few other applications that have been compiled under Air on the same iPad 3.2 which show the following behavior, which is not too serious:

    -L' splash screen appears correctly.

    -L' start for a brief moment screen flips upside down.

    -L' splash screen then rights itself and the application starts the way upward as it should.

    It seems that something has changed in the way AIR 3.6 manages splash screens and the launch of an application.
