Limit default value of security.tls.version.fallback - version 37

I have read the guidelines and some of the recent questions, but not sure this is a good forum to post my question. Please please use me for a good if necessary.

I noticed that Firefox Beta 37 has the following default values for the TLS configuration that I should always TLS 1.2 for TLS connection even if TLS 1.0 is allowed to use because you can not fall back to TLS 1.0, because the value of limited relief.

Security.TLS.version.Fallback - limit; 3
Security.TLS.version.max; 3
Security.TLS.version.min; 1

The values of security.tls.version.max and min is the same as Firefox 36, but security.tls.version.fallback - limit is increased from 1 to 3 in Firefox Beta 37.

Security.TLS.version.fallback will limit; 3 the default configuration in the next version of Firefox 37 official?

Hi hshimoji, the answer is Yes: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1084025

    Hi all

I want to Group (SG) of security did not have a default value, so that users must select SG every time they check in new doc. At present, the default value for the SG is the 1st value, which can make the user forgot to change the SG and ultimately, check in with SG bad doc.

    Hello

You can set ForceSecurityGroupChoice = true in config.cfg and restarts the CS to force users to choose security whenever they go to the archiving of documents.

  • A Web site that I use States: this agency will support is no longer using the Protocol of internet security TLS 1.0 or 1.1 - how to change this with Firefox?

I use a site that now has the following statement:

Safety notice: as part of our ongoing efforts to improve security, this agency will be no longer support the use of the internet security TLS 1.0 protocol effective August 1. In addition, we will also stop the support for the Security Protocol Internet TLS 1.1 on 1 September. This means you must update your browser to use this site. For any questions about the update, please consult your browser provider.

    How do I change this?

Unless your Firefox settings have been changed, Firefox is ready for sites that use TLS 1.2, the latest version of the SSL protocol.

For example, if you click on the Green padlock on this site, so more information, the bottom of the Panel security in the Page Info dialog box should show that the page was encrypted using TLS 1.2. I have attached a screenshot showing where to find this information.

Can you confirm that this works?

  • Is there a default value for NC_ATTRIB_BKD_PERIOD

I got a project and the value of NC_ATTRIB_BKD_PERIOD has been set to 10. I changed this value to 1 (I guess that's milliseconds) and the software runs much faster save about 20 seconds on a second test period formerly 60. I have used NEITHER CAN before and have never encountered this before setting and I was wondering if there is a default setting for this and if yes, what is it?

    Hi John,.

If you look at the nican.h, you can see that the NC_ATTRIB_BKD_PERIOD is the legacy version of the NC_ATTR_PERIOD attribute.  (I say "If you look", but it is not really clear just looking at...) The NC_ATTR_PERIOD is documented as follows in the manual NI-CAN

    NC_ATTR_PERIOD (period)
Duration specifies the rate of periodic behavior in milliseconds.
The behavior depends on the Type of Communication as follows:
    NC_CAN_COMM_RX_BY_CALL
Duration specifies a minimum interval between the
transmissions. Even if ncWrite is called very often, executives
are transmitted over the network at a rate no more period.
Definition of period to zero disables the minimum interval timer.
    NC_CAN_COMM_RX_PERIODIC
    NC_CAN_COMM_RX_UNSOL
Time specifies the time between subsequent transmissions.
and must have the value greater than zero.
    NC_CAN_COMM_TX_BY_CALL
    NC_CAN_COMM_TX_PERIODIC
    NC_CAN_COMM_TX_RESP_ONLY
Period specifies a timeout of watchdog. If an image is not received
at least once each period, a time-out error is returned. Setting
Period to zero disables the timer.
    NC_CAN_COMM_TX_WAVEFORM

If the change you made will have different effects depending on your mode of transmission.  In my view, the default value is 0, but maybe it's not valid if you change the mode of transmission.

Let me know if you need more information.  Have a great day.

  • Why can I not use Get LV class Default Value in a dynamic VI?

I'm trying to substitute a VI that uses 'Get default class LV value' and get an error that I do not understand.  My parent, 'Message class of ANT' class, has two children - "Class ANT from the command" and "ANT-class response.  Children participate a lot of data and features, including the factory pattern that implements 'Load Message class' VI of the superclass (see image).  I would replace this VI with a version of command and a version of the response, which would simply call the version of the Message with their respective classes of the substitution of dynamic input and output terminals.  However, I get the error "Front Panel"ANT Out class Message"Terminal: type of execution do not spread of dynamic input to dynamic output.»

Don't know how to get around it.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

    -Jamie

That sounds like a strange thing to do - what you will do is to return the default value for the entry class. What is the reason for the class loader of the disc? You SHOULD have already loaded the class in memory, because the output type MUST be the same as the input type (this is a requirement of dynamic distribution work, because the error is telling you). Since you already have the class that is loaded in memory, there is an easier way to get the default value: wiring a loop For iteration 0, and the entry class through wire directly to the output class, with tunnels on the inputs and outputs (NOT shift registers). As the loop never executes, the output is the default value for this class (see https://lavag.org/topic/15354-testing-for-the-same-class/#entry92502).

Replace "to more specific class" with "class of Run-Time to preserve" will also work, but still, I can't understand why you try to do it at all.

  • For loop tunnel exit "Last value" output of default values

    Salvation OR community,

Today, I came across a probem of LabVIEW stange. A tunnel of release of "Last value" to a for loop back the default values instead of the last real value. The code is below:

Below as screenshots of probes 44 and 45.

When the probe 44 contains al the data (all the planks are present (and the correct "Testrack Module" is used)) probe 45 is empty.

I already tried to remove the complete thread and it rewire. The result was the same.

However, I also tried to use registers with shift instead of the tunnels and the code works now (see below for the code).

The used version of Labview is 2013 SP1.

    I hope you can help,

    Tim

Edit: If the images are too small, you can drag it to a new tab, and they become the original size.

    Tim,

My first assumption: the because the loop never executes as you pass an empty array to an entry of automatic indexation.

Another option, which is difficult to see in the screenshot: are there two entries of tunnels over the probe nr 42?

  • I can't find my lexmark x 6100 all-in one series on my comptuor, it does not indicate the default value

I CAN'T FIND MY PRINTER ALL - IN - ONE - PRINTER SERIES.  It is SAID IT is THERE, BUT SAYS NOT SET AS DEFAULT. What does that mean?

    Hello

-What is the exact error message you see when you try to print?
-This work was fine before? If so, what are the changes in software/hardware on the computer?
-What version of windows you have?

If she says that a printer is not set by default, this means that there is no recognized printer or the printer that is there is not yet defined as a default value. Here are some steps that might be tempted to solve these problems.

Method 1: Diagnose and automatically fix problems printing and printer
    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/printing_problems/
This see below mentioned articles that may help you in the matter of fixing.

    Method 2: Solve printer problems.
You can use the link as a reference which may help you fixing the issue below.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/printer-problems-in-Windows
First of all, try to uninstall the printer drivers, then unplug the USB cable from the printer and then try to install drivers from the Brother Solutions and plugin site then the cable and then try to print.

Method 3: Download the drivers from the Lexmark Web site
You can also try to download the latest drivers for the printer from the lexmark support Web page and install.

  • I can't have my Subvi simply use the default values for some of its entries?

I use the code for a DS345 machine, using the sample code from here: http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=E3B19B3E9149659CE034080020E748...

    I use version 7.0 (because I'm in 7.1).

Anyway. I managed to get the proper waveform I wanted, just stored waveform in the default values and frequency input, so I can some frequency I want input. When I run the example VI itself, it displays the waveform for the machine just that very well, however, when I use this example VI as a Subvi, it didn't come out of the machine data.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Edit:

When I say defaults for some of its entries, I mean the values that are usually connected by a user, controls that are not 'inputs' in VI.

I understood the question, and I must say that I am embarrassed. If you look at the code, I'm feeding a resource VISA name, when the Subvi needs just a chain with the GPIB address number.

  • Programmatically determine the default value of control

    Hello

I'm trying to understand a reasonably sustainable method to detect if the sub VI input is wired.

I use the approach to the definition of an absurd default for the control, and then by comparing the current value of the control to a constant of this value. If they are not equal, so I pass the value of the control in my registry to offset. If they are equal, I hold that any value has been previously in the shift register. In this case, I created a driving force that allows me to update the status bar.

It works because my progress meter is a U8 I'll never write 0-100, so I can set my default to something outside this range (in this case, 255) for my comparison. Something similar should be relatively simple to understand and reuse in the future.

However, there is a dependency on a person if the default value for the control and the update of the constant comparison to match. My question: is there a method to check the default value for a control programmatically in order to remove the coupling? I realize that any method would be invariably slower with regard to execution, but it's simply out of curiosity.

I think that this method is reasonably justifiable if you document correctly and it works for me. Other developers do not tend to change the default values of the controls without reason.

That said, the Control class has a default property, but I think it's private and it may not work when you generate an EXE file.

If you want something that is more explicit, you can build a polymorphous VI - have one version of the VI with the entrance and the other without. The main problem is that users may not know that the entrance is there for them to wire without looking at instances of the polyVI, so I still prefer the method of the invalid value.

  • Want to change the WordPad default values for font size and line spacing

I use WordPad quite heavily because it is simple and fast.  But the new version of W - 7 seems to not allow you to change the default values for the font, size and line spacing.  The default values are not suitable for a large part of what I do and I'd like to find a way of quickly and easily, either make the changes permanent or change this to open with a single click of mouse or at most two.  Any suggestions?

It is the "best" solution to workaround.  After you change your Default.rtf custom, simply move it to your system32 directory and add the "Default.rtf" at the end of the location of your target on the property sheet for your file WordPad.exe.

Every time that you open its default location in the directory c:\program files\windows NT\Accessoires WordPad.exe, it defaults to now your Default.rtf custom.

Every time I call bb/platform/HomeScreen.setWallpaper via QML and the call succeeds, a default value for SystemToast is shown with the text "photo set as wallpaper." It's pretty much the same that appears when you change the wallpaper via the settings > display.

When I show a SystemToast with a different message right after calling setWallpaper, two notifications appear both on the other. If you see carefully the attached screen you can see my custom behind the default notification message.

  • Range of RV-130 DSL is reset to the default values

I bought a router of RV-130 a few weeks ago and installed in my network. I have it configured with a 192.168.100.x LAN IP address range. For some reason, every 8-10 days, he decided to return itself to the 10.10.10.x LAN range that completely breaks my network. No other settings that I configured in the admin are changed, just the LAN IP address range.

The router is connected to a UPS, and when this happens that there been no interruption in the power supply. I checked that it is on the latest version of the firmware.

Has anyone else seen elsewhere or has an idea how to solve this problem?

    Thank you
    Dan

My name is Eric Moyers. I am an engineer in the Small Business Support Center.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.

Your device configured for 10.10.10.x network simultaneously?

The normal default value of this unit is 192.168.1.1, almost looks like it's back to a previous configuration.

Is not assuming that whatever it is, here's what I would do.

Go to Configuration-> restore settings backup

Mirror select Configuration and click Delete

Select Backup Configuration and click Delete

After that, do a complete default from the router to the factory.

When the router comes back upward, configure the router exactly the way you want for your network.

Then follow the steps described in the Administrator's Guide to back up your configuration:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/TD/docs/routers/CSBR/rv130w/admin_guide...

I would like to make a copy of the configuration of my Startup config to the backup configuration.

If this does not improve your problem, please call our support center and prosecute so that one of our engineers can work directly with you.
