• Microsoft (fs9) 2004 Flight Simulator

  Hello, I am running Window 7 Professional and am having a problem with the sounds of engine in Flight Simulator 2004. When loading the default aircraft is a Cessna 172, all sounds including the engines properly. However, when I choose any other aircraft, no engine noise is present. I tried several relocations does not. All cursors are where they should be in the settings. Oddly enough, I have also run FSX, and all the sounds on all devices are working correctly including the engines. Thank you.

  As the sound issue is specific to a game (or add on pack aircraft?) and if someone here who has this

• Restarting Flight Simulator 2004 also freezes

  Recently, I noticed that I would use different aircraft to fly, and after completing the checklist, etc., etc. the screen would freeze. Also while flying for several hours (more than 4 hours) is scheduled to restart. Do you have any suggestions? I recently downloaded the 9.1 in the Flight Simulator 2004 update. I had this program for years and never had any problems until now. Windows 7 Home premium X 64 is the system I use. Thank you for your help.

• help understand my next mac mini... from 2004 model!

  I really admire the mac mini, I bought in 2004 and it works oddly, except for the internet.

  I would like to 'upgrade' or buy one with a more recent CPU/microprocessor. What should I buy? I've heard via internet models end 2012.

  I find it useful to have a disk drive so I can burn CDs, although I suppose that there is a way to connect the old mac mini to the new and so use the old one as a storage unit with a usable CD player.

  The software I have on the old one is perfectly fine, so I would be able to run such things if I can.

  Pointers would be really useful. Particularly on what stage model, what should I look for, or what you think, this is the kind of considerations, I need to assess. (I mean, mega - storage is not a big concern of mine: I does not store the art/film/music to any large degree.). I think it would be interesting to use Bluetooth for listening to music via Bluetooth speakers (which are good quality inexpensive Bluetooth speakers?)

  Just Mac Mini have you? One was introduced in 2005. The 2005 those equipped with a Power PC processor and can go as high as OSX 10.5.8.

  The 2006 and later have Intel processors.

  First applications have been written for Power PC processors and will be running on an Intel processor only if Rosetta is used. Snow Leopard was the latest OSX to incorporate Rosetta. A Mac cannot run an OSX version earlier that OSX initially provided with the Mac as a previous version do not have drivers for the hardware.

  The mid level Mac Mini is a good Mac and comes with 68 GB of memory. I wouldn't buy a Mac with less than 8 GB of memory.

  To share with the other Mac, you can use the sharing of files and sharing of CD disc. Those who work on a network.

  You can also start your old Min I in target disk Mode and connect the two via FireWire (for a Mini more recent yo need a bolt of lightning > FW adopter and a FW800 > FW400 adopting as the old Mini FW 400)

  Last weekend, I upgraded Windows XP Media Center SP1 to SP2 (because MS no longer supports it) on laptop Toshiba Satellite P15-S470 to my father. Tonight, I found that his Media Center 2004 refuses to read audio CDs audio error: "To play music in media center, install Windows Media Player 9 or a repair."

  After a long search on the Internet (e.g., newsgroups and forums), I found this a known issue since the release of SP2 in 2004. He worked before SP2 and other music players (for example, Windows Media Player (WMP) v10 and iTunes v6.x) have no problem. I tried to use Registry MCE 2004 provided by Toshiba and HP fixes (just for fun) and restart, but they did not help.

  Is there anything else to try next to the clean installation of SP2 and the BONE with its software? I was about to update WMP to v11, but I discovered that it does not work in MCE 2004. :(

  How to run 3D? The 3D on the function keys button, some call the multimedia buttons, does not work. There is no access key to activate 3D and I can find off the coast.

  Have you watched the videos 2D to 3D, or you watch real 3D movies?
  To my knowledge the Toshiba video Player can playback 3D content and can convert the 2Dto3D but this conversion does not work for games

  I'm not familiar with the Microsoft Flight Simulator but I guess you should check the settings of the MFS for this.

  3D vision must also be enabled.
  This is possible in all programs-> nVidia-> 3D Vision-> Enable 3D Vision
  The installer takes you through of parameters to the top of your screen and configure 3D glasses.

  In addition the NVidia 3D play feature supports two resolutions: 1280 x 720 at 60 Hz and 1920 x 1080 at 24 Hz. When you want to play the game in 3D mode, you must set the resolution and refresh rates on the side game.

  AHM, you want to use the second screen as an extension for your cockpit? Generally, it should be possible. One of my friends has defined a complete cockpit with 3 TFT´s view on his desktop computer,
  but I Don t know how it's just with two screens.

• Replace 2004 Airport Extreme with more later?

  WE have an iMac 2009 running Snow Leopard and a MacBook Pro in late 2011, with the help of an old 2004 Airport Extreme Base Station. The second works very well, but I just discovered it's crimping our internet speeds considerably from that proposed Comcast (tested with ethernet this morning). I know that the new Airport Extreme WORK with our computers, but it will increase our speed, even though computers support not the fastest new PHY mode? I would not upgrade the router only to learn that we do not earn a lot (we can't get much more with the current router 17mbps, but by ethernet, we got 57mbps this morning).

  So, if you have connected an Ethernet cable from your Mac to the port on the AirPort Extreme Ethernet older you 57 Mbps... or did you connect your Mac directly to your modem using Ethernet and pick up the 57 Mbit/s in this way?

  When you have measured 17 Mbps on the wireless connection... it was with the computer about 6-7 feet (or about 2 meters) from the airport with direct line of sight between the computer and the router AirPort?

  How many other wireless devices are also involved at the time?  To get a decent wireless speed reading, you want to try to restrict things to a single computer and the router from the airport when you run the speed control.

  Then add more wireless devices and run the speed check again to see how the "charge" on the wireless network speed is affected.

  We have a very old Airport Extreme, 2004 which works well, but is seriously crimping our internet speeds via Comcast (confirmed today using an ethernet direct connection to the cable modem, sparking a jump from ≍14mbps to ≍57mbps). I would like to give this to a friend who has nothing similar, but she runs, as am I, a MacBook Pro newish. My MBPro ONLY runs a version of Airport utility which can not handle the old Airport Extreme base station and the version that CAN cannot operate on a system of snow leopard after.

  If you have a Lion (10.7.1) or (10.7.2), you can install AirPort Utility 5.6 on this operating system.

  Something more than 10.7.2, including Lion mountain (10.8.x), Mavericks (10.9.x), Yosemite (10.10.x) or El Capitan (10.11.x) will not allow version 5.x of AirPort Utility must be installed on the Mac.

  If you... or you can borrow for 10-15 minutes... a Mac under Leopard or Snow Leopard or a PC with installed on the device AirPort Utility, you can configure the airport the more it.  Once the AirPort Extreme is set up and working, Macs using newer operating systems will be able to connect to the network... but they cannot make any configuration changes to the AirPort Extreme.
