    Hey thekevinmackay,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. Looks like you want to remove the effects of some of the messages when they are sent to your iPhone. This feature is made possible when "Cut Motion" is disabled. However, it can be activated and the link below can show you how.

Let us know if that helps.

    See you soon.

  • iMessages - Motion to reduce

If it is still necessary to "reduce the motion" to use the new features of iMessage, does anyone know how to add at least "reduce the motion" from the popup menu of accessibility?  It would be even better to add a pop-up submenu just for iMessages.

Unceremoniously, without reduction in motion on I have sick motion even move between screens on my iOS devices.  He would return to a phone clamshell to old for me.  My tolerance for the new effects of message seems higher and more controllable that Siri can read my messages.  Turn on/off the function is somewhat a chore, however.

    Ideas?

Proposal to reduce the movement throughout the iOS, not only on some features reduced functionality, it includes things like app launching animations, effects of Parallax and features iMessage. If you want to provide feedback about this to Apple, here's the link: http://www.apple.com/feedback/

  • iMessage sign

    Hello

I know it's a common problem and I tried a few solutions, but none worked for now.

I've just updated to 10.11.6 and when I tried to send a Message, none were received, but iMessage shows no errors. Then I open settings and saw that my service provider # was not inside my account and I also noticed it says (inactive) next to my account. So I registered... welp, now I can't connect anymore. I type in my email and my pw but nothing happens, no error message, nothing.

Y at - it a known solution working to get back running things?

    Best regards

    Branimir

    Hello

If... on the iPhone the number in settings > Messages > Send and Receive is not actually selected (active), then the number will be de-registered.

If left alone, then the iPhone will stop accepting or synchronize the iMessages that Apple ID it can 'see '. that is the link between the number of iPhone and Apple ID on the server iMessages becomes broken.

This may explain, why on your Mac, the number was not projection.

The fact that he has become replaced player on the iPhone may also explain why the Mac cannot connect more.

I would check the settings of the first iPhone.

If the number is not registered, Turn Off Message on the iPhone and then start it again and wait for the number to check.

If it works then try to add the Apple for Mac ID again.

After back when you've got so far.

  • I clicked on a phishing link and connected, my phone will be vulnerable? The scammers will be able to access remotely to my phone?

I had clicked on a phishing link, then connected, I'm afraid that they can now record my calls or go through my phone

Officials of the phishing link will probably not connect immediately - you still have time to change your login information.

I recommend to do so as soon as possible.

With your Apple ID, the most anyone can do is look through your received iMessages (no SMS) and all the data you downloaded/synchronized with iCloud such as Contacts, Notes, etc., but only if you have activated sync iCloud for these items.

Your calls will not be recorded.

  • Using Facetime and iMessage with multiple phone numbers

I often travel internationally. When abroad, I get a local SIM card and so a local phone number. The problem is, anyone trying to send messages to my becomes phone number inside a bounced message until I go home. I am looking for a solution to this problem. What I want to do logically is to pass all my iMessage and Facetime messages to my phone number internal to any international phone number that I have the chance to have for the week or two, I'm out of the country, without actually transferring phone calls for the international number.

    How can I accomplish this?

If during the passage of an international SIM inside, if I use a different AppleID to save the number, can I add the domestic AppleID to iMessage and Facetime and have forward SMS messages to internal phone to my phone number - actually give my 2 phone numbers for text and using Facetime?

What happens if I have a second iPhone (say one IS minimal) think I swap my SIM home - then I have two iPhones, one with an international SIM card and the other with an internal SIM card - then - I associate the two phones with the same AppleID (as if I had the same AppleID on an iPhone and iPAD) and make it work? In other words, a text Message sent to my iPhone internal SIM also towards my international SIM iPhone? This I must have my internal iPhone with me, or I can leave home and have it still work?

Any suggestions for other ways to solve this problem?

    Thank you!

    HU

You should always be available for the Apple ID that is associated with a phone number at one point.

SMS is out of scope for this, because it is a function of carrier managed by your carrier at that time and linked to your SIM card.

You put a new SIM card in your phone, FaceTime and Messages should register again your Apple ID for/with this new phone number shortly after. I do not think it deal only with the functions of automatic reference to FaceTime or Messages, because they are themselves a transfer function.

To the Apple server... "go get my friend with the Apple ID of [email protected]." Server Apple think and said: "OK, it uses the 888-555-1212 phone number right now, so I'll send your application there.

Ring, ring... you download a FaceTime application.

  • Keep my message disappears when I send them offshore, and whenever I click iMessage my beginning of phone vibrates and make this sound ringtone - what that means and what I need to do so that he can stop?

MMy messages disappear when I send only the & my message sometimes do not send. When I click iMessage he's my phone vibrate and ring sound to where I have to exit the whole application. What do this mean and what do I do to stop?

    Hey Nishya12,

Thank you for using communities of support from Apple!

From what I read, it seems that your iPhone on iOS 9.3.3 5s is not cling your text/iMessages. I'd like to keep track of these conversations myself I'll be happy to help you.

Because you used the link at the bottom of the use of Messages with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to get more help, I'll assume you have check the Messages on your iPhone settings. If you do not, click the link and check that everything is configured correctly.

iMessages is part of the iOS on your iPhone, in order to have this behavior as you described refers to a problem with the installation.

Save your iOS device - install a new clean copy of iOS on your iPhone, is what we call here. Since this process will erase everything, I highly recommend making sure your personal data is safe to backup and first.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iOS device - to install a new copy of iOS, your iPhone will be erased completely and that cannot be done via iTunes on a computer. In the settings of the iPhone doesn't that erase your personal information.

Once your iPhone has rebooted, you will configure your phone as a new iPhone this time. If you wish, you can connect to dive into iTunes and App Store and iCloud. At this point, check iMessages and see if it keeps your messages after they are sent. If so, the next step.

Restore your iOS device from a backup - now you're ready to bring your information to your iPhone. Just follow the steps described in this article.

Take care and have a nice day!

  • iMessage "awaiting activation" international problem

So I went oversees and upon arrival, my IMessages by cell phone number worked perfectly on the wifi connection, but I had a hard time sending pictures/videos. I didn't have my ID apple connected to both, but I turned off IMessage and then back on... He kept saying "Waiting for activation" which was at least 12 hours. So I decide to log my apple ID and add my e-mail address that worked perfectly for IMessage. The cell phone number is grayed out constantly, and even if I connect ILO to Apple ID or remove my email, I can not get my number IMessages. I tried airplane mode, reboot the phone, change the DNS, everything. I can still send and receive TEXT messages on my cell number, if I do not use IMessage.

  • loop checking iMessage

My iPod Touch (4th generation) has been disconnected imessage some time ago. I tried logging using my apple and password ID and he took me to a page that asked the address of electronic mail and said 'verification'... then it takes back me to the login page and does not connect me. It is an infinite loop. Help!

    Hello @u_w_i_n,.

Thanks for checking out the communities Support from Apple. I understand how it is important to stay in touch with Messages. Here are a few things to try.

The first thing we want to make sure is that all your data is safe. You can perform a backup to iCloud or iTunes. Use this article to help with this: backing up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Then, to be sure, there is no problem with your Apple ID, we want to use Safari or another Web browser and connect you to this link: Apple ID: manage your Apple account. A few problems with an Apple ID may not be displayed on an iPod, so all we see is the loop without end or the unit, do not connect. But using a Web browser, it will show if there is an alert, the error message, the secondary question as the need to change your password, or if Apple is locked. If you can connect via Safari or another browser and don't see any of these situations, we can check other parts.

The first thing I would recommend that you try is to turn the iPod, then back again. Sometimes, that's all that is needed to get all the connections reset and everything working properly again. This article help from Apple will help you to do: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. If this does not help, please check the steps described in this article: If you get an error when you try to activate FaceTime or iMessage.

If you still have questions, do this reset then: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi network. Use the section titled still not 'connect?' and follow the steps to reset the network settings. This brings the network settings to factory default. Then you can try to connect to the Messages again. If the problem persists after all this, you want to try to connect to another network, Wi - Fi and signing in. Just to help clarify the type of network that you should be, please make sure that you use a wireless network open as your home network. If you connect to a Wi-Fi as a school, work, or other business, the airport, a military base or a hotspot of a network type, it will not work because these types of networks high security and high traffic. They do not have the necessary data back causing problems exactly like the one you are currently experiencing. Also, third parties a protection antivirus, firewall or proxy to hide your identity on the internet can cause problems like this. They do not have to be set up on the computer or iPad either, they can be set up on the router. Some security applications also do, but are called only for security or VPN. There are literally hundreds of these apps, you can install on your iPod that block incoming ports that do not allow this function runs.

The last thing that I would recommend to try is to format your iPod, set it again using iTunes and you try to connect. This option will erase all data on your iPod. Please ensure that you have your backup is complete before doing this step. We need to use iTunes to perform this step is because we need iTunes to help install a new version of the iPod iOS operating system. This article help from Apple will help you to do: use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings.

Once the phone is set up as new, you will test to see if the Messages of sign questions are pass without your personal data on the device. If this isn't the case, we know, it was with some data on the device or in the version of iOS, which will be in you backups. You can make the data manually using iCloud or iTunes, but not restored from the backup that you will bring the problem immediately in. According to the version of iTunes you have and whether you have a Mac or a PC, one of these 4 articles help will help you find your music and other data to iTunes:

1 11 iTunes for Mac: connect or disconnect your iPod, iPhone or iPad

2 11 iTunes for Windows: set up sync to iPod, iPhone, or iPad

3 12 iTunes for Mac: iPod, iPhone, or iPad sync

4 12 iTunes for Windows: iPod, iPhone, or iPad sync

Thanks again and have a great day.
