• Linked server: the provider OLE DB 'MSDAORA' reported an error

  I have a problems with a linked server to Oracle...

  Initially, the server running SQL Servre 2000 and Oracle8i and the linked server works well...

  But after that the it Department installs an Oracle 11 g Client on the server...

  When I run my query open in SQL Server, I get an error message

  [OLE/DB provider returned message: Oracle error, but the error message could not be found from Oracle.]

  OLE DB error trace [provider OLE/DB 'MSDAORA' IDBInitialize::Initialize returned 0x80004005:].

  The provider OLE DB 'MSDAORA' reported an error.

  What is the version of the database used for related serere? Is Oracle 8i? Please confirm.

  If the database is 8i and customer Oracle 11 GR 2, these versions are not compatible.

  After you install Client Oracle 11 g, you saved the OLEDB driver.

  Restart the SQL Server, after installing the Oracle Client and then create the server bound.

  I use an ActiveRichTextField non-focusable because the field is part of a larger container making screenshots click on itself - not the children. This was done to make it easier for the user to scroll up and down on a list of text fields (do not have to move the focus to a line-of-text database).

  Question:

  My customer wants to activate by clicking on hyperlink. This is done natively by the ActiveRichTextField, but it cannot be activated because the emphasis is disabled.

  Someone has any idea how to reconcile the conflicting requirements?

  (a) the ActiveRichTextField should not be focusable on a baseline of text (if it is wrapped, of course)

  (b) by clicking on the hyperlink should open the browser, etc.

  You can get the x / y position of the textfield, but translate the active regions in x / there would be rather difficult (if possible at all).
  I just looked at the API, but I don't see how you can extract the links (or information about them) as the analysis is done in the background.

  You can analyze the text yourself with regular expressions to detect hyperlinks and offer them in a context menu.
  (e.g. http://www.regexguru.com/2008/11/detecting-urls-in-a-block-of-text/ )

  I usually change my paradigma UI if it turns out that a usecase I need is not taken in charge, but it is sometimes easier to patch something on.

  Basically, your decision: change the user interface in order to support this usecase, or something (like the context menu) on this patch.

  I would say to list the options see, then speak to the customer what he likes.

  Is it possible to place buttons inside a flash of and use these buttons to leave the form and go to another page? I guess using GetURL would be used, but I failed to run. I also thought to make each button a button to send with a CF variable as value and then pass this value to the 'action' of the form, but again... no luck. I think I am barking the wrong branch of the tree so to speak.

  I am currently having a command to bind inside a table that sits on the table id. I know that if I'm in control of the landing page, I use setCurrentRowKeyValue. However, I have no control of the external Web site. So I can't add it in my faces-config file. XML? I tried to put a GoLink and a GoButton but I get the illegality according to fragment error, when I put my destination URL in. An example of the format of the URL is:

  Where I add in #{place. PrimaryKey} which is the Id of the line. I would like to have the new page open in a pop-up window, if possible.

• If Firefox is the default browser, the links in the body of return Windows Live Mail errors that Windows does not find the URL. Links work very well if I set IE as default browser. (I use Firefox 10.0.2)

  Hello everyone, I'm running into what seems to be a cause of exclusion with an IOS IPSEC VPN NAT/nat. I can connect to the VPN with cisco IPSEC VPN client, and I am able to authenticate.   In my view, the acl applied to customer is back. It must allow traffic from the internal network to the pool of customers.

  To confirm, you can open the Cisco VPN client statistics (after login) then go in the route Details tab. We should see the networks you should be able to reach the customer. Make sure that the good ones are here.

  I have a simple application that has an iFrame that displays a Web site. Certain links on this Web site have target = "_blank". But on iOS only, when I click on the links in the iframe, they open inside of the iframe and not in the native browser (Safari). On Android, it of very well and opens in the native browser. And given that my application is literally just an iframe, as soon as someone clicks on 1 of these target = "_blank" links, there is no button back so they essentially stuck and have to close the application and reopen it.

  What I find EXTREMELY interesting is it seems that most people have the OPPOSITE problem (go figure): cordova - why links inside an iFrame are open in safari system? - Stack Overflow (and this has been posted 4 months ago).

  I'm a Noob PhoneGap, so maybe I'm missing something obvious. I use PhoneGap Build compile my app... so I can't change any of the '.m' ios files (or maybe Im confused on this subject).

  If I understand the question, you have several options. You can create a banner with a URL. Target when the user clicks on the banner, the web page opens in a browser in app. The user then click done to dismiss the browser. Another option is to make a link to a Web site in an article.

  HI - hope someone can help me.

  I have created a web page in Muse and uses an iframe to display on the home page of an existing Web site.  Below in the big blue box, you can see the iframe to display.  Note the blue area around one of the links:

  The page inside the iframe, which I don't want to happen.  I'm back in Muse and selected the "open in a new window" for links, who comes here to open links in a separate tab or a new window, which will not work.

  Can someone help me understand how to open links in the same parent window, but not inside the iframe?  I have to change the Muse exported HTML page to make it work?  I could put something inside the HEAD, on the Muse page before exporting?  Any help is appreciated.

  I use Robohelp 8 to create a WebHelp that I linked to a word document. Everything turned out great so far, but one of the last things I'm doing is creating a custom content and Search button that is labeled "SharePoint". I want that this button is a link to the site of our company so that when users are made with the WebHelp, they can simply click on the button and that it will take them back to SharePoint.

  I created the button and made a connection, but the problem that I am running is that when they click on the button, our SharePoint site appears as part of WebHelp, not the entire page. I don't know if it's possible, but I would like users to be able to click on the button and our SharePoint site appears on the entire page instead of just inside the frame of WebHelp. Is this possible?

  You want the Sharepoint page to totally replace the WebHelp output in the browser window? If so, choose the option for JavaScript and use the code below for the OnClick field:

• Link to the page from inside an HTML overlay element

  We develop a tool of sale using DPS and I would use an HTML overlay to help the user determine the right product for them.

  Starting in the folio, the user clicks a button to launch a file HTML. At the end of a series of questions, the HTML file is a recommendation of this product is good for them.

  We try to use a "Navto" link, and then take the user out of the HTML and into a particular page from the folio.

  Everything works fine, until they were typing on this final link. The user gets an error message "this page cannot be opened because of an error. The error is "the URL can't be shown' (101).

  We were told that it was possible. Any ideas what could be wrong?

  If you are jumping from an article HTML in an article in InDesign "See the Article of News" should work.

  Make sure that you are spelling the name of the article exactly as it appears in the generator of folio; capitals and everything.
