Link to the web page in a new tab?
Hello! I m making a PDF file that will be visible in browsers and when I put the links to open web pages they always open on the same tab as the PFD... How can I make them open in a new tab of page o? Is there a Javascript code?
Thank you!!!
This does not work in the links that are found in PDF files, only the web pages.
In a PDF document, you can create a link that opens a new browser window using this JS code:
app.launchURL ("http://www.adobe.com", true);
However, it won't work with Adobe plugins, those are not third-party.

When I get off the fall from the address window, rather than display the URL of the Web site I want to open in a second tab says "switch to the tab '. But I don't want to move to the tab - I want to open a second tab on the same URL. If I want to open it a second time, I have to manually enter the address. Is it possible to turn off this option so that I can open the second tab by using the same address in the drop-down menu? I was always able to do this with the previous versions of Firefox.

You can install this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/switch-to-tab-no-more/

Link on the Web page does not work in published HTML project
I use 8.01 Captivate and created a project with a link to a URL of page web (I did by the insertion of the text links). It works perfectly when I publish as an executable.
Customer has requested that we publish now in the form of HTML/SWF file. The link URL (set to open in a new window) does not this version.
I changed the link at a click box with the action to open the web page in a new window. Again, it works when you publish an executable file, but not when I publish to HTML.
The OUTPUT of course links also do not work in the HTML version.
We use IE11 to launch the HTML file.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!
Hi Betty,.
It seems to be a problem with the Flash security settings.
Please follow the steps (these steps are for Firefox and IE) below:
- Publish the project to a folder on the c drive.
- Open the html of the published output.
- Do the right click on the screen and go to global settings.
- Go to the advance tab.
- Scroll down and click on trusted location settings.
- Click Add > add folder and navigate to your published folder and add it. (You can also add full lecteurC so that you don't have to do it again for all projects)
- Click on confirm and then close it.
- Now, re - open the html file and try to view attachments.
These parameters are only made when you view the content locally. If you place the output on any server, then you must not make these settings.
Hope it works... !
Kind regards

topic: Home link on the Web page does not work
I have inserted a link on my Web page to about: home of the user to the homepage of firefox to take
It looks like this:
< a href = "subject: House" > < /a > Firefox
It seems to work fine on the desktop browser, but it does not work on Firefox Android on the Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N8010 using the android 4.1.2 version and Firefox Android version 33.0.
The link does not work, however, is recognized as a link, since the long press on the link gives options for opening/copying the link, but if I then select "Open in new tab", it still doesn't open it.
Is this normal or if the link works?
Thanks to anyone who can answer this,
CathIt will not work. It's intentional.

iExpenses Global Policy Link - open the web page
in iExpenses there are some links at top and bottom of each page.
One of them is the link of 'global policy '.
This link is not defined in a page - instead, it is defined in the application iExpenses menu.
The entrance to menu references function "view Policy Guidelines" (OIE_POL_VIEW_GUIDELINES).
The documentation states that you can modify the HTML Call function to call a static web page located
under OA_HTML path.
Instead wants customer this link to open a page in a new window intranet for example opens a page that
is not located under the OA_HTML path.
If I change the call function something like http://www.google.com HTML, so when the link
you press the browser tries to open http:// < host >: port/OA_HTML / www.google.com?menu=Y which
obviously does not work.
Any ideas as to how we can change the strategy overall link then it will open a web page that is not located under the path OA_HTML?
Concerning
AndyI have not tested the following code example:
Create a jsp with the name "Temp.jsp" file and place it in $OA_HTML and bouncing the apache. Put the code below in the jsp file:
<% String getUrl= request.getParameter("url"); response.sendRedirect(getUrl); %>
Call this page of AOL service web HTML using property
Temp.jsp?url=www.google.co.in
Refer to any JSP tutorial for more information.

I tried everything suggested to get rid of the search page "open a new tab".
I just bought a new computer with Windows7. I downloaded and installed Firefox 18.0.1 a week ago.
I try to get the historical icon page to open when I click on "open a new tab".
Some of the things I've tried (as reset Firefox and install the add-on) worked but only until I stop.
When I load Firefox again, this pesky search page ("open a new tab") is back.
How can I get the icon history page to remain permanently on the day the day?If your manual changes don't "stick" after a restart of the browser, please look out for suspicious extensions (such as 3 rd-party-toolbars or of things that you have not intentionally installed) currently installed under firefox/tools > addons > extensions or section of windows control panel programs and remove these entries.
in the case, it does not resolve the issue please, try this: go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information > profile folder - "view folder", then a new window will open. in this search on a file named user.js window (it can be used to overwrite your custom settings). where it is present, delete or rename this file and then restart firefox.
Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search

Is there a way to give a user a Web page link that sends a user to a specific slide in a CBT? (a bit like "named anchors" in HTML)
I have a list of tasks that users can watch simultaneously OR individually. Accessing the CBT of emails and Web sites. Emails, he will lead them to a stage in the diagram below. On the site, they can choose to start at the beginning, or choose a specific step.
If this isn't the case, then I will have 2 versions. One of the versions has all the sections in a single file. The other version is a bunch of separate files in order to link the individual.
Overview: Capture, manage, and complete performance objectives with employee (process with links to the different sections below diagram... like shortcuts)... Create / suggest new objectives of performance to the employee what to do / are not aligned with organizational objectives Approve, revise or reject the goals created by employee Change the approved objectives: Add or modify objective comments Change the alignment on organizational objectives Change objective rating criteria Complete the objective Mass create goals Enter objective filled Micky
Hey Micky,
You may need to use javascript to achieve this.
Please visit this link: http://captivatedev.com/2011/05/01/how-to-jump-to-a-specific-slide-in-a-separate-course/
Do you want what it this way, if I understood your query?

Cannot send the link to the web page by e-mail
Windows 8 doesn't let me send a link to the page by e-mail. In Vista, it's easy, click just to the right, click on send link by e-mail and it used my e-mail program, no problem. Not the case with Windows 8 and Windows Live Mail. If I right click on the page, it evokes a box that has "email with Windows Live", which seems to be the right choice, but it just takes me to a connection to Microsoft, the same one that I use to get in these forums. How the * is that it will get to my email? I don't have a login to my email. I use a shortcut on the lower tray to open it. You're talking about not intuitive. Why can't they just leave things alone? No one at Microsoft ever heard the expression "if it is not broken, don't fix"? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello
When you click on this link send by email, you will be directed to the Outlook.com site where you can complete the action to send the link.
Outlook.com is the new interface to all living products, including Hotmail and Live Mail.
To connect just type your email address and password. The send email window will open and you can enter the e-mail address of the recipients and send the email.

Don't know how to fix
var email = this.getField("FormValues.emailAddress_0").value
email2 var = this.getField("FormValues.emailAddress_1").value
var cSubLine = "terms and Conditions";cbody var = "enclosed please find important information about the terms of your account. oNewDoc.submitForm({)
cURL: cEmailURL,.
cSubmitAs: "PDF."

I have just recently started to get a sound strange, something this show every time I opened then switch to this new tab, it does not occur with each tab, how can I stop this
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
