link with external compiler issues

Hello

When I try to compile my source with an external compiler, I get errors, and various warnings.

One is

«mbsupp.h "(29.1) (29): error: invalid redeclaration of type name 'size_t'"»
"mbsupp.h" (29.1) typedef unsigned int size_t; "."

This include file mbsupp.h is included in ansi_c.h, because in my source, I have the following

#include
#include
#include
#include
#include
#include

So now the important question, how to solve this problem? What I need to change the order of a few files included?

Thank you

Wolfgang

Ok

I solved the isssue...

First, I installed a new version of the compiler, 11.1.035 instead of 11.0.61. Secondly, I chose a different compiler (Intel offers both 32 and 64-bit, and Itanium), obviously now the right pair, because I have the feeling that this caused pain.

In any case, thanks to all the contributors!

Wolfgang

  • The project-centric issue of peer to Peer with an external compiler in LabVIEW FPGA

    Hi all

    FPGA OR Version: 14.0

    I have an application developed in LabVIEW interfacing FPGAs developed in LabVIEW FPGA making of peer to peer Communications.

    Everything works fine.

    I try on the port to Visual Studio 2013 (on the same PC) and am able to communicate with the FPGA very well using the C API.

    However, I have a problem now with the help files or the peer supported external compiler peer.

    I get these errors:

    1. cannot open the file source 'PublicIncludes/nistreamCommon/prefix.h '.

    2. impossible opening the file source 'PublicIncludes/nistreamCommon/postfix.h '.

    in

    c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Shared\ExternalCompilerSupport\C\include\nip2p.h

    in my project...

    I looked in the folder c:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Shared\ExternalCompilerSupport\C\include\ and the PublicIncludes\nistreamCommon folder does not exist.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Hello!

    It seems that you have worked with another engineer of Applications on this issue.  For the love of documents, the nip2p library is not supported in CVI. There has been cases where users were able to get this work to comment on the two header files.

  • Normal (internal) link to external site opens in Safari on iOS after upgrade to cli - 6.0.0

    I just tested this again with a recompilation; It still does not work...

    My app has a normal link, (a href), to an external site, which should open in the application itself. This works very well in Android. But in the iOS, it opens externally in Safari when it is compiled with cli - 6.0.0. Compiled with cli - 5.2.0 that it opens in the app, no problem. I have the plugin added whitelist and origin allow browsing, attempts to authorize and access are all set to *.

    So I think it's a bug.

    See also: -in-safari-on-ios-after-upgrade-to-cli-6-0-0 http://community.phonegap.com/nitobi/topics/normal-internal-link-to-external-website-opens

    Found!

    After being pointed in the right direction on Jira... it was the attempts to authorize that causes this behavior.

    Using

    or leave this entire string out of the config, causes an iOS open safari.

    However, by using the following in the config works correctly:

    And I thought using the * would be the easy way to configure this :-)

    Hope this helps someone else with the same problem.

  • Encoded text with conditional compilation still tags appear in TOC even if the label is "excluded".

    I use TCS2, Windows XP.

    After you have created a book in FM and coding with conditional compilation tags, I imported HR. When I generate, I output the value tag:

    NOT NoOUtput AND NOT internal AND NOT printed - I want to generate my external, webhelp online help. And it works like a charm. Except that:

    • In the table of contents, I can still see the stars for the things that are "internal" - when I click on it, they're not going anywhere... but I don't want them to appear in the table of contents!

    It seems to exclude from the index and search. I don't know that miss me just a step, or something...

    Browsing the forums I found this... http://forums.Adobe.com/message/751847#751847 -I don't know if it is still applicable, because it seems to allude to RH6 (which is a bit far from the 8 HR that I use)...

    Any help is appreciated!

    TIA,

    Adriana

    @Daggins - that's what I was talking about! I knew it was there somewhere ;>)

    @adrianaharper - if it doesn't work properly in PDF files that you create on the FM band; what the TOC looks like FM? You're just pulling in HR when you import/link right? If the faulty internal topics are appearing in the table of contents of the FM, then expect them to appear in HR too. You must kill them, FM or kill them in HR.

  • Firefox seems to block links to external applications, in this case Outlook. Can you help me?

    When I click on the link (for example, mailto;email@domain) in a Web site, nothing happens. If I use Chrome or Explorer link opens Outlook to send the e-mail.
    A friend told me "Must be something to do with how your browser is configured, perhaps blocking links to external applications (outlook, etc.)"
    is that correct, and how do I do it please?

    Perfect - thank you very much!

  • All links to external programs open my homepage instead of the target URI

    All links to external programs has recently began to open my homepage rather than the target URI. This only happens when Firefox is my default browser, not when other browsers are set to be the default browser. I see this more often with links in e-mail messages in Thunderbird, but I also reproduced the problem by inserting a link in a document of LibreOffice Writer and clicking on it.

    Looks like a problem with the default browser where the command is missing %U parameter that caused the link not not to be send to Firefox.

  • How to Flash an ARM Cortex M3 with a compiled hex file?

    I need to update the flash on an ARM Cortex M3 using the hex file compiled through a JTAG port. I do PCB test fixtures and need to update the firmware, if not later.  I use TestStand and Labview on Windows XP PXI system. I have a DAQ 6289 but you can add modules more if I need to. What would be the best way to do this?

    You work with the LabVIEW Embedded for ARM Module and trying to deploy a hex file created there? Or is this a file separate hex that you want to deploy your surfboard while testing with LabVIEW and TestStand? If you just need to deploy a hex file, you would use a program like rousselinemamiaritiana to push the code to the Board of Directors. This thread speaks of the peaks with external programs called LabVIEW programming methods:

    http://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/how-can-I-control-PIC-programmer-with-LabVIEW/TD-p/138120?requireLog...

    It is a different material, but probably the same idea, you can use: call an executable that loads the file hex on the Board. You have the program used to push the current software to the Board of Directors?

  • Question about the possible use of MSVC 2008 Express as an external compiler CVI 9.0

    I was looking for these messages looking for information on the use of the ICB with external compilers, especially from MSVC 2008, and I came across this ad are about 4 months:

    "CVI 9.0 and MSVC 2008 express.

    The title of this announcement means that the freely downloadable 'express' version of MSVC can be used with CVI 9.0, but the body of the message is not in the details.  But I would really like to know if this is possible, and I'm guessing there are others here who could be very interested as well.  Page 8 of the CVI 9.0 release notes does not indicate that the Express version is supported, which makes sense.  I say this because I always thought that "express" versions of the MSVC were only to create .NET applications (C + c++ / CLI) and applications not native to Windows.  Or does change with the release of MSVC 2008 Express?

    There is no hurry to answer...

    JB

    If you have a CVI 9.0 FDS(I'm not sure about the BDS)

    Select Options/Build Options

    Select the Select button to the right of 'compiler active'.

    Click 'new' to create a new configuration of external compiler

    Select MSVC 9.0 as a model.

    Choose a configuration name (what you choose to CVI) and a destination file (where the external compiler settings will be stored).

    Click OK

    After that, you can easily select the optimizing level and the level of warnings that you need through the "Edit" in the box "compile to realease configuration.

    Kind regards

  • A link to external hard drive

    When a converted my files pictures on the external drive that Lightroom is linked to some of the links were broken.  When I right click to find missing files, the file seems to be found but images appear as gray rectangles... no images.  When I have a link on drive C images appear.  I prefer a link to my external hard drive.  How to add a link on my external drive and see the images?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hey the grave,

    You just need to update the location of the folder to these images in the Lightroom on the external drive. When you move the original image to another place after importation into Lightroom, you don't get to see a preview of the image in Lightroom. Its very important to have the original image linked with the preview in Lightroom.

    For step by step instructions, you can follow the link below.

    How to find missing photos in Photoshop Lightroom

    Note: If you think you want to change something in the structure of folders on your external drive or on your machine, first, and then import the images into Lightroom to avoid this problem.

    Let us know if that helps.

    Kind regards

  • How can link to external files - I insert hyperlinks to another project?

    Hi, I am trying to learn how to use RoboHelp HTML (I use RoboHelp10), and, unfortunately, I have to work on a project that someone else has started some time ago.

    The thing is, I have 2 separate projects, each with their own files, will that ultimately generated in 2 files separate chm and used in the same software (probably merged, but I don't know yet).

    A project needs to have hyperlinks across multiple pages htm to the subjects of the other project. I read the help provided by Adobe RoboHelp, but I don't know that I understand:

    Link to external files

    • Choose a location for link in the design editor.
    • Enter text.
    • Highlight the text and click Insert Hyperlink .
    • Click on the triangle button next to link to, and then select the file.
    • Browse to a file, open it and copy it to the folder of the project. -Is this file the individual .htm containing my topic or the .chm generated from all the files in the project htm? Where in the project folder devrais I copy it? (my project .chm file is generated in the.) SSL! folder).

    Generate the file in order to test the links to external topics.

    WebHelp projects
    The external file must be distributed in the WebHelp folder.
    Microsoft HTML Help projects

    The external file must be distributed with the CHM file. Note: the external CHM file must be in the same folder as the CHM project file.
    - I'm going to generate a Microsoft HTML Help project, so the second spec probably applies. Does this mean that external chm must be copied in the! SSL! folder where I generate my current chm and distributed together, so that hyperlinks will work?

    Sorry if my question may sound a little silly, I'm not very adept at this software. Thanks in advance.

    Christina

    Hello

    They will either be in the same folder or they will need to be registered by Windows. Otherwise, we have no idea that the other exists.

  • My button to link to external site is blocked by flash player as potentially dangerous

    Hello

    I set up a simple website flash with buttons etc.

    3 buttons are supposed to post a link to external sites

    but when I download the flash on my web servers and

    test adobe flash player blocks links:

    "Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially dangerous operation"

    How to bypass this?

    < < code > >

    Stop();
    import flash.events.MouseEvent;
    var getfacebook:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http://www.facebook.com");
    var getweather:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http://weather.news24.com");
    var getmap:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http://www.maps.google.com");

    Facebook button-------.

    facebook_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, facebookClick);

    function facebookClick(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    navigateToURL (getfacebook);
    }

    -Weather button-------.

    weather_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, weatherClick);

    function weatherClick(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    navigateToURL (getweather);
    }

    -Card button-------.

    map_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, mapClick);

    function mapClick(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    navigateToURL (getmap);
    }

    This code in itself should not be a problem.  Normally, this type of message appears when the player is involving files that are stored locally on your computer.  Make sure that you do not refer to local files for what you place on the web server.  Here is a link that might help (or not)...

  • Bug trying to create the link with the Cyrillic characters in URL

    I'm transforming words in my text on the links, but with Cyrillic characters in their URL (such as https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ хорошо). The problem is that, depending on how create the link, the page refuses to accept the URL.

    It's my preferred method (which accepts not the Pages):

    1. Write or select the text to be transformed into link;
    2. Press cmd + k;
    3. Paste the URL (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ хорошо) in the field;
    4. Hit enter or click out;
    5. When I check the link, it is www.apple.com.

    The strange is that other methods work very well.

    1 against nature (accepts Pages):

    1. Delete my word;
    2. In its place, paste the URL (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ хорошо);
    3. Hit the space bar (a link is created automatically with the correct URL);
    4. Edit the link that is created and change its text;
    5. When I check the link, he kept correct.

    2 against nature (accepts Pages):

    1. Write or select the text to be transformed into link;
    2. Press cmd + k;
    3. Find a way to build a version with my URL (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D1%85%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%BE%D1%88%D0%BE) escape sequence;
    4. Paste the URL with escape sequence in link field;
    5. Hit enter or click out;
    6. When I check the link, ironically, is хорошо https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/.

    To stretch more:

    1. Editing a link created successfully (with any success methods above);
    2. Changed its URL (from хорошо https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ to https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ плохо)
    3. Hit enter or click out;
    4. When I check the link, it's still хорошо https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/;
    5. Finally edited and changed its URL still once, now remove the Cyrillic (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki);
    6. Press enter, click out and he finally accepted the URL.

    Pages seems to be denying the creation of links with the URL that contains Cyrillic characters (only?), but exclusively through his little creation of link popup. I think it's a simple problem, but I'm sure it's very annoying.

    Everyone knows the same?

    Cyrillic characters in the range of table encoding UTF-8 code points u + 0400 - u + 04 FF are represented by two bytes. These people must be encoded as a percentage (read the two paragraphs of the current standard of article), as the Pages v5.6.2 will convert automatically URI to this encoding for you in the link Inspector. It will simply ignore what it considers incorrect URI links, they are Cyrillic, or even English.

    Use what is easier for you, and that Pages v5.6.2 accepts.

  • Someone else's problem with the Web page jump when hovering the links with long URLS in Firefox 4 beta 12?

    When I hover over a link with a URL that is longer than what corresponds to the length of the status bar in Firefox 4 beta 12, the entire page jumps back until I stop hovering over the link. It was so annoying (especially on Google search pages with lots of links, etc.) In fact, I uninstalled Firefox 4 Beta 12 and returned to the release of the Beta 11.

    Is there anything in all: config which would disable the status bar that the URL link seen in, at least?

    Download the extension of evar 4 status bar. It solves this problem and also provides many other options of the bar of the addon. Here is the link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/
