Links in emails blackBerry Smartphones does not (highlighted)

Until yesterday only when I would scroll through an e-mail and someone had sent an internet http: link would be automatically highlighted and I could click it to enter the site.  Now when I scroll over it the link is no longer highlighted so I can't click on it. I have inadvertently change a setting? I can't understand how it back as it was.

Hello. Fist I would try is to reset the unit. Do just remove the battery from the camera for about a minute. Allow the unit to restart and try hyperlinks.

  • My world link app World blackBerry smartphones does not... Help!

I had the latest update for the bb app world on my bb storm and I was able to access my world and the connection.  I started testting archiving on a few apps functionality.  I received a call taken and when I came back I can't access my world.  It allows me to select, but never, it loads the link and the full menu.  I can access the search, categories, top free and paid just not my world.  I thought that a battery pull it would solve so I tried that (no go).  I uninstalled the app from my phone reset and reinstalled (still no go).  I double checked the permissions and all are configured to allow.  It's extremely frustrating, because now I can't reinstall applications that are not downloaded from my story or check all the apps more.  All solutions would be useful.

I found a solution after several battery pulls and reinstalls. I clicked on my world and still had no luck. As I mentioned earlier that the foregrund has to stay in place while it seemed that the background was doing something.  I decided to try to run my finger across the screen to see if it would change I noticed some moves.  I did this for a minute and all of a sudden popped up background (i left earlier sitting for nearly 20 minutes and don't get this result.  He showed archiving app and it has been suspended, but it is all that I could see the memory bar has been blackened and ther rest applications in the list did not show.  I cancelled archive and hid the memory bar and they all reappear.   YAY

  • Net_rim_bb_messaging_app (52) blackBerry Smartphones does not

This happens sometimes - I get and on the messaging_app - uncaught exception process is completed.  Now, email and SMS does not work - if I try to open the mail application, the whole phone freezes up.  In the past, I ran an update to App world application - reinstall and it cleared up for some reason.  I'm not able to get to work more.  I am running OS 5.

Also, I thought the update of the OS, but can not get this phone will connect to my Mac with the software of office either, even if it worked once before.

I tried all the usual stuff - removing the battery several times.  Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply.  I was not able to connect to the Desktop Manager to save - I think the OS is just completely corrupt, however there are many back because all my contacts are synchronized with exchange.  I did the secure wipe - reloaded and resynced, works now.  Then I went to the App store, connected, and my apps purchasd were sitting there ready to be reinstalled - so a couple of hours, but its place and running now!

  • My phone blackBerry smartphones does not display my address book!

Are the contacts to your BlackBerry address book and on your SIM card?

Or ONLY on your SIM card?

Open your address book, press the Menu key then click on filters and make sure that no filters are checked.

Now, back in the address book.

    No matter what?

If this isn't the case, please give some details of your situation.

  • Synchronization with Outlook with BB blackBerry Smartphones does not email. Is there a solution?

I downloaded the latest version of the software of BB Desktop and I have no problem with the synchronization of contacts, calendar, reminders and notes. However, there is no other choice (tick) to select sync my BB email with my desktop email. The way right now, if I want to keep my e-mail synchronized on my PC and my BB I have to do it manually. If RIM provides support for synchronization of Outlook e-mail, are there available third party software to do this?

All three of the e-mail on the BB accounts are accounts ISP and not accounts of Blackberry Enterprise server.

    Thank you

    Gary

Thanks a lot for your answer. I've been using devices that use Microsoft Activesync and this problem does not occur. Unfortunately, I will have try to keep emails on three devices to update or I'll start to use an iphone or a device that uses Microsoft Activesync.

  • Sales of blackBerry Smartphones DOES NOT want email when plugged... at a loss

I hope it's just a setting that I know.  First of all, we are on BES 4 and have no problem within the company.  A user has Desktop Manager and he wants the installer so that his e-mail does NOT sync to the phone when it is plugged into the computer.  Once disconnected it wants to start getting e-mail once again but he didn't shoot him the e-mails that came in so it was connected earlier. Any help would be appreciated.

In the icon in the Desktop Manager e-mail settings, put a tick in the box "Disable redirection message so that my camera is connected to my computer".

  • Smart phone BlackBerry Smartphones does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World

    Hello

I just all new BB Curve 8900 on Vodafone. Its the first BB I've owned and I seem to have a bit of trouble. When I try to download the App World, I get the following error message:

"Device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World"

    How can this be?

OK then... interesting for Vodafone to push support far... Well, by I guess.

So I guess that I change their instructions... rather than to remove an installed version of the AppWorld in the way they suggest, I suggest go to:

Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications

See if BB AppWorld is listed as installed. If so, highlight (but do not click) it and then press the BBKey and select Delete. If she wasn't there, then continue on these steps.

Then do a batt pull reboot:

With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

Then re - activate your THS:

Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey > sign up now

Then re - send all the service books:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB02830&SLIC...

    Then do another reboot batt-pop.

Then, get a new link for AppWorld from here:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/appworld/download.jsp#tab_tab_download

And re - download and install it.

I hope it's going to go right. If not, then it could still be useful a call to Vodafone...

    See you soon!

In fact, I brought this blackberry off someone on Kijiji site?

Ok.. I got it, so you bought a provider online for personal use, right?

If Yes, then may be the unit you have purchased already has some strategies active COMPUTER that aims to prevent these applications or features. To remove all political IT from that device to first make a backup of your Contacts, etc. using BlackBerry Desktop Software.

Once you have your backup refer to this Knowledge Base and reset your device to factory setting:

KB31291  :   How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software settings.

Reseting your device as it will remove these COMPUTER strategies, but more importantly after a reset while restoring your backup does everything restore, perform a selective restoration which may include Contacts, notes, calendar etc. entries. If you perform a complete restoration then these strategies COMPUTER may return and you will have to repeat the whole process.

Try it and tell us your progress.

  • BlackBerry App World Blackberry Smartphones does not open

BlackBerry App World will not open on my Curve 9300.

I uninstalled and reinstalled from my mobile, but still it does not open.

I uninstalled and reinstalled by plugging the appworld.blackberry.com website, but still it does not open.

I tried a lot of times battery pull but still the app world opened not only once.

I thought that maybe it's because some applications I downloaded via the app world. So, I removed almost all applications too (except some bare) applications, the app world still do not open even after pressing the battery or uninstall and reinstall mobile or Web site.

Also, all this time, the global icon is found in running applications.

By clicking on the icon in the screen of the applications currently running does not help.

By clicking on the icon on the taskbar status does not help.

    Help will be really appreciated.

Try this... options > device > Applications, remove the current AppWorld.

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Then:

    1. Open the BlackBerry browser on the BlackBerry smartphone.
    2. Go to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3
    3. After downloading, please reboot your BlackBerry smartphone when you are prompted.
    4. Check that BlackBerry App World is located on the home screen.
