  I have a WRT160N v3 Linksys router and it keeps disconnect them and then reconnect. It disconnects wireless only. LAN still works fine.

  I tried many different methods to solve this problem, but none does not seem to work.

  I recommend you in Win 7 the power management of the energy saving settings.
  There you can change (disable) WLan Card to save energy.
  It helped in my case.

A300D has an Atheros AR9281 wireless network adapter, while A500 has Intel(r) WiFi Link 5100 AGN, and both have Vista 32.   Please note that these settings can be changed there too.
