Linksys device to connect to a wifi network
Dear all,
I want to buy a linksys device that supports to connect to a wireless network available to connect to.
The idea resembles the network conversion wireless to a wired network.
A device that is unique?
And if there is no device has this feature linksys, someone could help me get this device of any brand.
A big thanks to all the world.
You can try the Linksys WET610N wireless bridge.
The wireless bridge to connect to the available wireless network and will offer that you cable the network.
If you have the wireless network settings you can configure wireless bridge to connect to the available wireless network. This unit has an Ethernet port. You can connect the switch 8 ports to bridge wireless and all your wired computers/devices to connect the switch. This way, all the devices connected to the switch, wired, can access the Internet using the wireless network available.

OfficeJet 6600 connects to the wifi network
Hello
I bought an Officejet 6600 and effortlessly connected to my wifi network, print and scan for a day. And there are two days that he stopped conntecting to the wifi network. In the meantime, our router turned off and turned back on. That's the only difference.
First of all, the printer would not even detect the wifi network. I solved that by changing the configuration of the router (Cisco 3925 EPC) and passed under the Setup wireless "Wi - Fi protected setup" to "manual". I can now see the network on the printer again.
But after that I've selected my wifi network and enter the WPA password, the printer tells me that the network connection is impossible. I printed a page of diagnosis, which told me that the problem is perhaps related to the MAC filter. But I have no MAC filters. I also tried to pass of WPA/WPA2 to WPA only, but that doesn't change anything.
I also tried to set the mode wireless via the USB cable, but no avail. Everything seems to work, until the moment when he tries to connect to the wifi (screen with 'configuration' with the large antenna and pulses of radio waves).
Should I give up and bring it to the store? I'm getting desperate!
Thanks for your help in advance,
Raphaël
OK, to make sure I understand - the printer connects effectively to your wireless network, and well it works for a while once the printer goes to sleep, your computer or router may not wake.
If this is the case there are a few things that we can try:
1. in the settings of your router, make sure that the multicast is enabled.
2. set the 2.4 GHz router to 11 channels. I know it sounds weird, but please try.
3. set an IP address of the printer:
-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
-Click 'apply '.
Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing. -

Why my laptop is not to connect to a wifi network secure?
My laptop connects to the wireless networks unsecured, but do not connect to secure wifi networks. Is it because he is my Windows 7 Service Pack 1?

I'm living in a college dorm and only have access to the internet via a hard line to my computer. So I wanted to give my other accessibility of consumer electronics set up an Ad-Hoc network and share the internet connection. When I originally set up the network it works fine, but after the devices go to sleep or I leave the room it stops working. I had problems to keep the internet connection to share continually, which I fixed it. I then had a DHCP problem with the hard line that has been resolved through troubleshooting function. Now, even if the network is active and is connected to the internet my devices cannot connect and then the network shuts down.
Is there a way to create an Ad Hoc network that works similar to a wireless router, so when my computer is turned, it works automatically? If so, how can I make this happen without these problems?

Get the IP addresses of the devices connected to the WiFi network
Hello guys,.
I've been looking around and trying to understand this point, but I don't have a solution. The problem is to get the local IP addresses of all devices connected to the WiFi point of access/router connected to my BlackBerry. Similar to the way in J2SE nature you can get the IP using InetAddress.getLocalAddress () and then browse ip addresses and call InetAddress.getByAddress (ip) to check whether the device is accessible. Possible is something similar in BlackBerry or not?
No, the fault was entirely mine, I misread your message.
no idea how to do that, there is no access from low level of the network interface and the API is really limited. -
PC does NOT automatically connect to the wifi network, other devices do
I have a pc windows 7, and we have used to have a SIEMENS router + modem via a wifi network. The pc would always auto connect to it.
We now have a new feature called HOTBOX, used by the new company of internet infrastructure that we moved - HOT.I did change the password first because who really cares? His writings on the HOTBOX, my family and my guests can know, and thanks for the auto connect, which i obviously checked when I connected to it, everything should be good. Alas.Other devices connect, it's my smartphone nokia, iPhone, PC. Only this computer can not.Note: the first time where I put the password on this computer to connect, there is also an option for a fast connection or something like that. I did with my nokia phone, but not with pc - it's an easy way by pressing on a button of twinning on the refrigerator, then you can easily connect or w/e.IN ANY CASE! This option seems to have disappeared! Now all that appears when I click on the network name is the password field and a checkbox to auto-connect, no quick option.Any help is appreciated. Thank you.Hello

Gateway IP ping test failed
The router/AP wireless for your network is not available, no work, or is disconnected. You will not be able to connect to the Internet, although you might be able to connect to your local network. Contact your network administrator or the installer of the router/wireless access point.
The gateway IP ping test determines whether the router/AP for the network wireless is available and functional.

Mini 210-2130NR: impossible to connect to the wifi network driver missing
I recently did a clean Windows 7 on my mini installation because the upgrade of Windows 10 left essentially unusable. I managed to install windows 7 Professional on this topic but I am not able to connect to my wifi to do updates. In Device Manager it says missing a network controller and video controller. I was able to find an adapter (Realtek PCI FE Family Controller) but I need help to find the others. I tried looking for drivers available under my product on the HP site, but she had something specific to Windows 10.
Device Instance path:
Network controller: PCI\VEN_14E4 & DEV_4727 & SUBSYS_145C103C & REV_01\4 & EDE306C & 0 & 00E0
Video controller: PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_A012 & SUBSYS_1584103C & REV_00\3 & 21436425 & 0 & 11
Thanks for any help!
Hello:
You need these drivers...
Network controller:
This package contains drivers for the Broadcom Wireless LAN Server supported in models cards mobile supported and operating systems.
File name: sp57965.exe
Video controller: you have posted you are running W7 64 bit, but your laptop came with W7 32 bit.
You must use the driver directly from Intel 64-bit for the 64-bit version. a 2nd on the list.
Note: I think the Intel driver site is messed up because when I click on the link to get the driver, nothing happens, and this happened to me twice today.
You may need to wait until after July 4 holiday to get the driver if you have the same problem.

I tried to use the other pc and smartphones to connect to my network of your choice via wifi and they connect successfully and I can use wireless net in other devices!
Hello @Khaled-819.
Thank you for your query,
I understand that you are unable to connect to your wireless network, but other devices connect correctly.
Have you ran the Windows troubleshooting tool?
Did you run the Internet functionality and security in HP Support Assistant ?
Here is a link to HP PC - troubleshooting wireless network and Internet (Windows 8) that should help you.
If you are unable to connect I would test for a hardware failure. You will locate network under the title of part.

HP Deskjet 2540 all-in-one: printer stopped connecting to the wifi network
Hi, my printer has suddenly stopped detecting my wireless network. When I turn on the printer, wireless blue light continues to blink and there is an exclamation point on the screen of the printer. I still have the same wifi network as before and have not changed it or its parameters. I have not physically moved the printer and the wireless works fine for all computers, iPads, and phones.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the HP Utility Set Up software but it couldn't detect the printer to set up. I also tried running the diagnostic results, but all the results, said 'Not work', 'Not applicable' or 'None'. I can't even an IP address for my printer.
My laptop can detect the printer if I turn on the wireless Direct button and I connect to this network on my laptop, but that's all. I'd rather connect the printer to the wifi so I can print from all my devices (phone, iPad etc.). The printer is less than 6 months and I do not understand what is the problem with him. Can you please specify?
Hey @Sue1990,
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I hope you enjoy your stay here.
I understand that the all-in-one printer Deskjet 2540 does not connect to your wireless network. I can help you with that.
To connect the printer to your network again you will need to run the USB cable from the printer to your computer Mac OS x 10.7. This makes the open Applications, Hewlett-Packard and inside this folder you will find a program with a similar name to the installation wizard. If you run this program, then you will find options to connect your printer to your wireless network.
Please let me know how it works for you and let me know if you have any questions.
Have a wonderful evening!

I have a Dell laptop, I tried to connect to unsecured networks. When I pull up available networks immediately by the unsecured network icon, it is an exclamation that she. When I select to connect, it still says that it is connected, but there is no internet connection. I tried to disable the antivirus and firewall mg temporarily, but it makes no difference. I have a private wifi in that this isn't a problem with me. Anyone have solutions. My windows vista 64 bit is completely up to date.
Many wifi networks out there do not work with the 64-bit versions - they (wifi in these places devices) require special equipment and/or additions and additional software may (if those that they can be improved without buying a completely new camera) and many simply don't bother or have money or consider that the number of people with a problem they need to address. I suspect this is the case, that you face – I saw happen with many others. I don't know there is nothing you can do about it except complain (and perhaps someone will listen). The fact that you can connect at home means that your system works correctly - it's the Wi - Fi connection in those places that can not connect to your 64-bit version.
Unfortunately, the 64-bit isn't the main stream quite yet and so always these compatibility issues exist (and will probably be for some time to come).
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

I recently bought an IdeaPad S10-5 / Type 0647 / Windows 7 operating system.
I can't connect to a local wireless network at all. I can't even see all WiFi networks in my grand that I can see with my notebooks in use.
Atheros AR9285 wireless network adapter driver seems to be updated ((version dele de pilote est 8.0.0.279).)
I tried various things such as deactivation and activation of wireless networks / adapter, looking for the latest version of the driver etc without success.
I activated the WiFi to the computer (setting of the HW switch) and
but if I go through the (Systemsteuerung) Control Panel and Device Manager I get the message AdapterLAN connection or the wireless function is disabled Lenovo ReadyComm told me that the antenna of the wireless device is turned off.
If I can't solve this problems, I'm afraid I have to return this computer.
Any help is very appreciated.
Thank you and best regards.
