  Help! I'm at my wit's end. I just bought a Linksys E2000 router and cannot find a way to get the router to connect wireless on my HP G60-235DX laptop (running Vista) via the WPA2 setting. I know that the Atheros AR5007 802. 11 b / g wifi adapter is the question, and I downloaded the latest driver update... and still have the same problems.

  FYI - I can connect to the computer via the internet cable from the Linksys E2000 router so I know that it is not a modem issue.

  I solved the problem! After almost return the router to Best Buy today during lunch, I decided to give it a try more tonight and again call LinkSys. After almost decided with the Linksys officer that they only solution is to put another card in my computer, we stumbled on the question.

  We have gone to 5.0 GHz to 2.4 and spent the 'auto' channel to channel 9.

  And now my computer works like a charm (thanks also to update the driver as you instructed).

  I have configured my E2000 manually (with the latest firmware 1.0.02 build4) and it works on my system... Band 5 GHz, WPA2 Personal, with a custom shared key.

  In fact, I get speeds faster than the 54 G V1 it replaces...

  But I've heard there is a guest login... and I want to change the default password for connection guest... and manually I see not all credentials of comments or their settings...

  I missed something?  Why can't I find it in the configurations?

  Is not using software configurations, using the manual configurations to the old... I know the paticulars of my configurations...

• Linksys E2000 to into acccess point/switch helps.

  Okay so here's the deal, we got At & T Modem/Router upstairs, and then we had a long cable ethernet connecting here in the basement. The problem is that this allows only a connection to the local network at the same time (a problem for LAN parties and others). I do have a Linksys E2000 router however and I want to be able to use it as a switch access point.
  I'm sure this is possible, but I forgot all the steps to do so.
  The att modem/router is running on 192.168.1.254 and my Linksys that is directly connected is on 192.168.1.1, so I have another address in this field.
  What I need to change my Linksys settings now, or do I have to change the settings for at & t?
  Basic steps would be appreciated, but I am familiar with the concepts of normal network, so you mustn't it level by the low that much.
  Also I will use this for Xbox Live at points so will I need to re - open all the ports on my Linksys, or at least put the DHCP to static IP Xbox to keep my NAT good?

  I have Windows 7.

  My ISP is a DSL company. I've been with this company for several years now.

  I still have in my possession a wired router that I am currently using as my E2000 does not work.

  In my computer, I have a network and a wireless network card. Both claim that the ' device working properly "in the Device Manager.

  I tried to do the work of E200 for awhile now and I'm about to return it to the store and buy something else.

  I insert the CD and I followed instructions more than once (even tried different things).

  I always get to the screen that says:

  We now set up your LinkSys E2000.

  Please wait, this may take up to 5 minutes.

  Aftetr awhile I get the message saying that it cannot find a device and that if I use a laptop that there could be a 'switch '. When this does not work I can plug in the back of my old router and it works fine.

  I bought this router 7 days ago and it still does not work. I used to work for a DSL company and I was in technical support. I'm not a beginner.

  Please help that this is the first time that I buy a product Linksys. I'm about to lose patience with this.

• How to get a NAT type open with a linksys E2000 on PS #.

  I called customer service and they were completely clueless, told me I had to pay for support to fix it. I have a Linksys E2000 and I can not open nat for my PS3, tried DMZ, and settings of the XBox, but that obviously didn't work. If anyone has any ideas until I return this router $100?

  OK, I finally got it to work, here's what I did.

  On the router:

  1. I booked an IP address for my X 360.
  2 - passed my X 360 ports:
  TCP 80
  UDP 88
  53, 3074
  3 disabled uPnP

  Didn't even need to reset my router or something else. I hope this works for you guys.

  Windows Vista SP2 from worm 6.0.6002 Build 6002.  KB2675157 Explorer 9.0.8112.  Runing Norton 360 6.2.1.5 (I disabled the two virus checking a firewall).  My problem is that I ran Windows Update and go on a popup message: Windows Update cannot currently check the updates, because the service is not running.  I ran last update of Windows in April and he was properly executed.  I run FixIt 50202 and checked that wuauserv, misiserver, bits, cryptsvc, and workstation are started.  I am able to run updates on all the software outside of windows.  I ran recently updated for Radeon Catalyst Control Center, Safari, Chrome, and various Adobe products.  I don't have another PC with Vista I can compare the registry entries.

But for more 2 weeks now on the network of comments simply do not accept the password set in the router management console - I tried to change it, but without any proogress, also restarted the router several times - no effect...

  Anyone have a suggestion, what happens?

  Password complexity checking is disabled, it cannot be the root of the problem.

  Hi Pal, another thought perhaps to factory default from the router then see how it behaves. I see no reason why it work for so long, and then stops working unless perhaps something is damaged in the software.

  Were there any configuration changes from when it works and now does not work? Add or remove of anything?

  You can try to factory reset the router and see if it works then?

  I used this code to my command button on my page.

  The problem is, when you run the application in the browser Chrome, clicking this command button displays a warning for javascript popup (Please find below printscreen).

  The application is not break and continues to work even if this popup comes.

  I tried with other browsers, it is works well and do not show this javascript error.

The catalogues are stored in a subdirectory of Lightroom in the photos subdirectory. You need to resolve without losing all the catalogs.

  • Close all applications CC
  • Complete the process monitor activity/task manager (CCLibrary).
  • Restart any application and check.

  Hi all, I'll try to find a way to reduce invited bloating thin-set in service in an environment VMFS5 all.

  We went from 4.1 to 5.1 and then also vmotioned storage all our newly created vm VMFS5 volumes before you delete the old VMFS3 volumes.  During this operation, everyone has forgotten that one of our volumes has been intentionally assigned to a block size of differnet than all the others for the purpose of narrowing of the guests who had swelled upward for some reason any.  Now, we have no way to create something other than a volume of 1 MB block size which prevents us from doing the cleaning routine.  Is there an alternative way to shrink a guest who does not put offline?

  For those who do not know the procedure that I describe, here's how it works:

  You have a 100 GB comments that has only 10 GB of actual data in it, but because of something after bad temporary files, cleaning up old data, etc., that 100 GB had been used at a point of real files but is now only 10 GB in use. You want to recover which is now 90 concerts waste of space because your thin provisioned VMDK is sitting there at 100 GB in size.  With VMFS3, you could create a volume with a block size that was different from that of the volume on which the guest is currently living.   In our environment were all our 1 MB LUN but one that we kept to 2 MB just for that purpose.   When we were getting a little low on space and found guests such as the one in question, we would run a simple command to write zeros to the entire free space:

  Cat/dev/zero > bigfile; RM f bigfile

  Then all you have to do is storage vMotion the guest at the volume of 2 MB and return to its normal domestic and suddenly the VMDK's 100 GB up to 10 GB, all with no impact on the guest.  Without support for the creation of a file system with a different block size in VMFS5, now I'm not aware of a way to reclaim this space in a way that does not require an interruption of the guest.

  You can select the VMFS version when you create a new data store. With selected VMFS3, you will be able to specify the desired size of the block.

  There are 2 ways you can do.

  1. simple, thing of box. Open your human .task file in JDeveloper. On the right, select general and in this tab for results field, click Browse. Here you can see the button «Results requiring comments» Select it and choose your Action. There is no in your. TASK file (open in textpad), simply add this section. By default, 'tags is empty. But if you at least have a result where the observations are required, below is added. So worst case you can add this section manually by yourself. All you do is replace the result with your result of the task which needs comments. Rest is all the same. You can have multiple entries if several results needs comments

  	PROVIDE_COMMENTS
  	REJECT

  2. so now, when you open the task and click on reject, you will get a pop up saying this action needs comments. Once you add comments hit on the Action and it will work. But if you add comments and save and then reopen the task and striking, it will ask again to observations. Point is when the task is opened at this time, if you want to that Action, enter comments. He don't care if you entered comments yesterday or before. But when the task is open, enter fresh comments.

  3. Another way is a bit of a pain but gives more control. Don't do the above step. On this action to call custom managed bean. He check comments field and continue. If its in, and then call this action manually. I'd rather not this unless you need more complex.
