Linksys E2500 configurations working with Huawei SmartAX MT882?

Hello my friends,.

You have a problem with my router Linksys new E2500.

I have a Huawei SmartAX MT882 cable modem, that connects to my desktop via an ethernet cable, it works very well.

I recently bought a laptop and I thought I might have a wireless connection using the modem so...

so I bought a router E2500, which is connected with ethernet to the office and the SmartAX MT882 modem cables.

It happens that I am not in a position to set the configurations to make it work (my ISP provider does not help me because there isn't a router supported by them).

Advice on how to fix this?

Solved. I put the definitions with static IP E2500... little, I tried to understand the correct values of intellectual property.

I have a problem with the l2tp connection. My provider only supports l2tp (with encryption - interference). Where can I find option to turn off encryption - scrambling for l2tp? Or how I can fix (solve) the problem.

    THX, best regards!

thx for the answer! I have a tplink, and it solve my problem with the internet. But I need of DDNS that work only with linksys (TZO.NET). I bought the account for 1 year. My tplink does not support DDNS (TZO.NET).

I'll try "you can try third tomato and DD - WRT firmware and see if it works" thx.

  • All equipment Linksys has stopped working! But having internet with NO LinkSYS equipment

My setup is eccentric, but worked for a long time. It stopped working Friday. Let me first say there is a reason why I put in this way. The reason for my configuration is based on the location of the different IP and hardware when I bought at the origin of the material (in case your wondering why I am not a different route). All network card/devices and routers are Linksys. The LinkSYS device not only is a Netgear print server and 1 PCI card installed on a 2nd PC.

Here is my configuration: A modem high speed, a wireless BEFW11S4 (4 port on the router). 1 unused port. Port 2 of a second wired router (for DIRECTV VOD and VUDU future) across the House. Port 3 to a local PC. 4 port wireless router WRT54G on the end of the House (I used one of the ports not the WAN connection). Wireless is enabled for both routers. DHCP is disabled except for router main basement. I treated all the routers beyond basement one as gateways by saying.

My problem: I have several PCs with wireless cards / devices. That work is 1 XP Dell laptop, as shown below (not Linksys) and the fact wireless and also via a wired connection. Directv is also wired router (2nd line). The Wii also works or wireless router. Of course, my PC to the first router also sees the internet. All locations to see both routers with 80% of signal. My House is small, but limitations of the wiring, it's the best solution to get internet.

MY PC, given models configurations are Linksys except as indicated:

1 PC XP w/WUSB54G (USB adapter)

1 2000 pro w / Netgear WG311 (PCI card) very old PC and sees no internet, what to look for and find two routers with high signal. Internet has worked in the past, though that is not used for a while. I can possibly assume it just does not work or can also be linked to this issue.

1 Dell XP with internal wireless (works very well!) Will work with a router wireless and communicates also with print server with success.

    1 2000 pro w/WPC11 PCMCIA card

1 XP with Linksys PCI card (don't have handy model number)

I also changed the ports of wireline equipment to check that it was not a bad port. I have an internet connection on non-material Linksys. Some of the computers that I use on a daily basis, others not were lit in a time very long. After the problem, I decided to check these computers also. I did not any changes to the configuration. As I said I came home and noticed no internet and went to fix the problem. I used the Linksys software on all of the products listed to configure the network. (Supplied with each equipment original disks) It will show you, we can see the routers, shows NO internet connectivity but appear sees a router, it is not the internet. I want to emphasize that I did not change any installation, it just stopped without warning.

Initially, I assumed that it may just be the wire to a router. (WRT45G). I have also unplugged all the material, renewed IP, rebooted the PC and modem repowered. What bothers me is that the DELL works fine, including being able to print, the Wii is very well and speaks and I can renew IP and download VOD since the second wired router and receiver DIRECTV. Also, I assumed that maybe it was a problem with a new patch from Microsoft, but some of the PC were not on months, although until this problem. Thank you for taking the time to read this long post. I tried to be as complete as possible. Any suggestions or ideas appreciated. I have found no solution on this forum or on the internet.

NOTE: I also reinstalled 2 PC software, including returning my WEP. This has not solved problem either. Problem remains the same. I also checked the internet properties and network configs (on the PC) although I can't imagine every PC has changed itself.

It doesn't seem to be an adapter or your computer problem, from what you described, I guess that your router has some problems of connectivity... You must reset your router and then re - configure both...

As you explained that a computer for the first router connects to the internet, you can download the firmware of the router first and upgrade... You can download the firmware here

Follow these steps to upgrade the firmware of the device: -.
Open a page in Internet Explorer browser on a computer hard wired to the router...
In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1... Leave the name blank username & password use admin lowercase...
Click the 'Administration' tab - then click on the 'Upgrade Firmware' under the tab-here, click on 'Browse' and navigate the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...
Wait a few seconds until it shows that "the update is successful," after the upgrade of the firmware, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned to the same page OR it will say 'cannot display the Page.

    Now reset your router:
Press and hold the button of reset for 30 seconds... Release the reset button... Unplug the power cable from your router, wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power cable... Now re - configure your router...

Similarly, upgrade your second router and update its firmware... I think that after this, you should be able to get the connection on all computers...

  • How to configure TB to work with Filemaker 10?

    Hello

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I'm on a Macbookpro on 10.6.8. I want to send e-mails via Filemaker Pro 10.0v1. Thunderbird 31.0 is my default e-mail client. I think I must also configure mac Mail somewhere in this process. These e-mails will be turned off on 5wcw.featheredpipe.com located on the webmail via my Web site. This will complicate things?

Please excuse me if I'm not using correct jargon here - it's new to me. Support FM advises to use Eudora - I hope it's just old info and Thunderbird will work.

    Thanks for any help,

    Linda

Looks like the real question is how to configure the file creator to work with Thunderbird. Most of the applications like that just use the default mail client. If it does not, you should ask the people to lead Maker how their software works.

  • How can I configure the keys easy to work with iTunes on Satellite P300-150?

I have a Satellite P300-150. The easy (the illuminated keys above the keyboard) keys work fine when iTunes is in the foreground, but I want them to work when I minimized iTunes or switch to another window. I found the "TOSHIBA button Support" utility help within TOSHIBA, but it only allows me to set it up as the "Enlightenment" and "CD/DVD" [drive] (the two left most) easy keys make...

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you.

I doubt that this is possible
I m using the WinAmp instead of Windows Media Player and the CD/DVD button works with Winamp. I want to say I can run Winamp by pressing this button, but I can't use the game, break, buttons forward in WinAmp.
I think that it is not possible also with ITunes I've never tested, but it seems that it s not configurable.

  • Hotsync configuration to work with XTNDConnect PC connection with Lotus Organizer 6.1

I work for the synchronization of the configuration between my Tungsten E2 and Lotus 6.1 using a Palm Desktop 4.1.4 Hotsync Manager 4.0.4 with 3rd party XTNDConnect PC.  This is done in an operating system from Vista Home Premium 32 bit.  I have the synchronization between Palm Desktop & TungstenE2.  However none of the organizing files are picked up.  At the same time, the log synchronization on the Tungsten E2 shows a successful synchronization.  I think that the problem is in the right configuration of Hot Sync Manager. Someone could talk me through it.

    Thank you

    Howard

Problem solved.  I have chnaged to parameters in the hot Sync Manager for all channels to 'sync' organizer and all channels funds to 'No Action'.  As for the source of the name used from the end of the name of the file Organizer "Howard Harrison.or.6".

As a result, a full synchronization from the desktop and the Tungsten E2.  Palm OS versions that work with Lotus Organizer 6.1 are Palm One Desktop 4.1.4 containing Hot Sync Manager 4.0.4. XTNDConnect PC as the 3rd party software is excellent.

  • FBus Monitor may not work with Configurator at the same time

I am using NI USB-8486 material and I can get Fbus Configurator work on it. But whenever I run the FBus monitor, the Configurator will go wrong. (Device on the Fbus become invalid)

I checked the Configuration OR-FBUS Interface utility, I have seen that the use of the port can be either OR-FBUS or Bus-monitor.  Since the USB-8486 only has a port, it means we can only support a single application (Configurator or monitor), instead of two at the same time?

    I'd appreciate any help!

    Hi Steve,.

That's correct - USB-8486 can function as an interface device or monitor buses at the same time, and the role is configured in intensive care.

If you want to have two roles at the same time work, you will need two NICs installed.

  • G60 - 228CA: unable to connect to the Linksys E2500 router with laptop G60

    Hello

I hope someone can help because I've been through the forums and I will have no chance to solve my problem.  I bought a new router (Linksys E2500) and my laptop (G60 - 228 CA) HP can detect the router but just failed to connect to the internet.

I tried to diagnose all the problems which have been proposed, but that did not help.  I restarted the router, nothing helps.  I tried to download and install a new driver to replace the old (Atheros AR5007 802. 11 b / g WiFi Adapter) but still had no luck.

Really not sure where go from here so looking for help solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Hello:

Verify that the driver you have installed is actually that of 2011.

If not, go to the device, right click on the atheros wireless card, Manager select uninstall and if there is a box to uninstall driver for check, check.

Reboot and try the driver I posted again.

If the date and the driver version is what is indicated on the driver file, then unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

  • Linksys WUSB100 V2 does work with 5 GHz N?

I wanted to know if this adapter works with 5 GHz N? Or does it support only 2.4 ghz N?

This adapter will not work with the 5 GHz wireless frequency. It works with wireless 2.4 GHz frequency. To connect to the 5 GHz wireless network, you should have a dual band wireless network as AE1000 or WUSB600N adapter.

  • Pinning and align problem - working with alternative configurations fixed and fluid

    Hello

As suggested by the staff of Adobe, I'm working with a layout of fixed width for the desktop version, so I can use the scrolling effects in this version and a layout alternative tablet with a fluid design for mobile devices.

In this way, I will have two major problems with the working fluid design version:

-I can't pin objects to fixed locations in the browser. The option is disabled, and I can't create a set menu, for example.

-I can't focus the presentation of the fluid design version, there's always left align. In fact, breakpoint rule changes and stays aligned left also. It is a problem, because when I opened my site in a device with a larger resolution, it remains to the left of the browser.

There is a solution for these problems?

Hey well thanks for the help, Bernard.

I tried to work with a fluid layout compressed as an alternative to avoid creating a Tablet and the mobile version of the site. Instead, I would have only the office page and the layout fluid compressed, that would suit regardless of the user's device.

As for now, I will continue to work with the development of Adaptive with variants of the tree when scroll effects are necessary and work with a sensitive provision in other cases, with more correct is.

  • How is it that a computer which works very well with a direct Ethernet connection won't work with a switch, however any other computer using the same port, cable, ect, and so on, can?

    Switch issues. Help, please.

How is it that a computer which works very well with a direct Ethernet connection won't work with a switch, however any other computer using the same port, cable, ect, and so on, can? We already checked the firewall as a question, that it was not, and now, we are puzzled.

Well, I know that the issue is long-term... believe me, it's a long, but as they say, the devil is in the details. Anywho, the question is, my grandfather has a HP laptop, which for two years has been able to run through a Linksys switch to his router and connect its printers to his laptop. About two months ago it suddenly doesn't work like that. Now, it works fine if it plugs directly into the router/Ethernet. My uncle suggested that the switch was bad, but after testing the same port, cable and all, the switch worked well for him. ' GRAMPS really needs this answered, but someone else, it is called can not understand and now I, in turn, ask you all for what you can offer. Here are the ideas that we have already discredited.

-Switch bad: as above, is that this particular laptop, even under identical conditions, the works of my uncle very well.
-Bad NIC: debunked through the fact we connected to the computer directly to the router and it worked fine.
-Bad configuration of the firewall: we have disabled the firewall (please do not notice, he wasn't the smartest idea, we already know) and even if she recorded the switch exists, the internet is always triggered when you are connected with the switch.

Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide and Merry Christmas to you all.

It would be useful to consult the results of the ipconfig/all command both when it is connected to the switch and when it is connected directly to the router.  In addition, what is the model of the switch?

To save the manual copy and the new hits of the ipconfig/all command output-

    First connect through switch.
Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
Type the following lines in the black command prompt window and press ENTER after each line

echo "Connected via the button" > "% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".
    ipconfig/all > "% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".

Now connect directly to the router, type the following lines in the command prompt window and press ENTER after each line

echo "Connected to the router" > "% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".
    ipconfig/all > "% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt".
    Notepad '% UserProfile%\Desktop\ipinfo.txt '.
    output

Copy the contents of the Notepad window in your response (if you use the laptop when it is connected directly to the router) or close the Notepad window, and then copy ipinfo.txt of the laptop to the Gramps in a USB FlashDrive you can connect to any computer allows you to answer.

You can delete ipinfo.txt on the desktop when you are finished.

  • E2500 not working properly

    Hello!

I'm trying to figure if my router is broken out of the box, or if it is a parameter any who needs attention. I have two computers on this - another via ethernet - router, a wireless. One seems to affect the other performance in general. If I disable a computer, a rest on has no problem at all. Otherwise its lag city! I use these two systems for online (MMO) games where it is VERY apparent, but also quite noticeable during the loading of web pages - where it frequently crashes when loading a web page. During the games I have a severe latency issues - if an account is connected, it causes huge amounts of offset appears on the other account once logged in after about 2 minutes of play. I am running:

    -Linksys E2500 N600 router
-A system using Win XP and is wired (Ethernet)
-A system uses Win 7 and wireless (laptop)
-Internet by modem cable with cable

Any ideas or similar circumstances out there?

My original router died (Netgear cheapie) just bought the router, and the problem appeared after installing. Sure, it is a router problem, but have no idea how to fix it - or if I need to return it!

I hope it helps someone out there-

    I found a solution!

Shut down your PC, unplug your router, turn off the power to your cable modem. Wait at least 10 seconds, turn on your modem cable, wait all the pretty lights do there thing... Plug your router, wait a few minutes to ensure that all know each other... to restart the PC.

Apparently the strange things happen when your cable modem is used to work with another router. Restart your modem to this order seems to realocate everything that needs realocating - worked for me in any case!

  • Multiple SSID in Linksys E2500

I just bought a Linksys E2500, and I'm trying to set up several top SSID. The "guest" mode does not work for me because I want an SSID to use WPA and the other to use WEP, but the ability to set different encryption based on frequency GHz of the connection does not work for me because I want only the WEP key to be used by my Nintendo DS (which does not support WPA); I don't want to force all devices that do not support the 5 GHz for use the WEP key it! Is it possible that I can do this, or am I out of luck?

DD - WRT forum is full of info on aid.

Usually with some care, you should be able to return to the firmware of Cisco stock.

Install third party firmware will void your warranty, unless you are able to get back to stock firmware :-)

  • C7250 connected wireless works with wired ethernet PC but not wireless PC

C7250 installs fine with static IP address and wired (ethernet) PC works perfectly, but is not recognized by the PC wireless.

Can ping the IP of the PC cable but not wireless computers.

Can connect to the IP address of the browser and can logon to the wired PCs of wireless computers.

When the wireless PC is connected to the network with ethernet cable the C7250 works perfectly.

Firewall is not the issue because I tested with the firewall disabled.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you for your help.

I FINALLY FOUND a RESOLUTION but let me describe what I've done to isolate the problem so that others will not do the same things I did.

I used my Windows CE PDA and connected to the wireless router. I made sure that IE could access a different print server wired for a Brother HL-2140 I 192.168.2.10 and it worked. Who checked out that IE was working with a wired device. I then went to Yahoo!, and it worked. Then, I tried to access the C7250 configuration using IP 192.168.2.20 address in IE and it failed. (I checked with my Wired PC I could have access to the configuration of C7250 via IE.) I expected this result.

Then I connected the PDA via USB and verified that I could use it to access the configuration of C7250 use IE on the PDA and it worked.

I then tested between two wireless PC. Could not connect to each other through the router. But if one of them has been wired and one wireless they connected and I have consulted the disks between computers. I also tested the two cables with the same results.

THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE ROUTER.

These tests again virtually eliminated all PC, firewalls (since I've tested with the firewall disabled), the C7250 and the print server for the HL2140 brother as being the source of the problems.

I then updated the firmware of the router to the latest version and repeated all the tests carried out in the complete thread and had the same results.

    RESOLUTION:
The router I was using was a Linksys WRT54GS Ver 1.

I also had a backup router which is a Linksys WRT54GS 7 worm that had the same settings as the Router 1 worm.

I changed the SSID of the original router (Ver 1) so I would not need to change the SSID in all my devices during testing with the router Ver 7.

I checked the firmware on the router worm 7 was the later and pulled up.

The first test I did was to use a ping wireless PC the C7250 192.168.2.20 and it worked!

I then used the wireless PC and IE to access the configuration of C7250 192.168.2.20 and it worked!

I then checked the port for the C7250 was still a TCP/IP port to 192.168.2.20 and sent a test page to the printer and it worked!

I consulted quickly wireless configuration C7250 and printer a test of a PC cable page and that worked!

Finally, I tested PC wireless wireless PC PCand wired PC and the dirves successfully in both directions and checked that PC wired to wired PC was still working as before.

All that remained was to supply two routers and router swap 1 worm with the Ver 7 router and rerun the tests with the router to Ver 7 manage my real network. Everything works as it should.

    I'll keep Router 1 worm as a backup to the Ver 7 knowing router unless the router worm 7 does not only feature that I lose when I reinstall the Router 1 worm is wireless connectivity to wireless, and I can temporarily work around until I get another router that is likely to be a "n" because what is have is ' G;
