• Out of my Inbox about a year ago, I created subfolders and were using them correctly. Two days ago they disappeard. They are always on the ISP server.

  Folders on my server of the ISP always contain what I put in them. I have not received the error messages. It's 3 subfolders. In addition, the quantitity # in my inbox has changed to a much larger number when this happened, and no, the contents of the subfolders missing have not moved into my Inbox.

  I could return to my Pop server and create the folders I wanted to on the top of my tree folder (compared to my Inbox). I was then able to move my messages in their appropriate folders.

  Windows 7 laptop of my grandson, I'm migrating FIREFOX (excellent resource!) of my aging XP desktop. An existing Mozilla installation on the guarded device tries to connect to an ISP in Sydney (1000km) which kept out, I guess because the signal is too weak. Too far - on the Internet?

  Reinstalled my new ISP contact, reinstalled a fresh copy of Firefox, copied the old profile XP (just underneath the random string file name), but cannot change the fault. Firefox at startup tries to raise the old ISP (Sydney) and expires, and then allowing me to establish a manual connect with the ISP (my current) new.
  Perhaps a clue: in my Firefox troubleshooting info, change preferences, the browser start page is the address of 'old', with 'override mstone' ignore, what look like prints of registry entries, but I can't change all that - and maybe it's wise! An annoying secondary question: on arrival, the laptop listed no administrator user. So I am me came as an administrator, but I wonder if a past or current even Admin hidden could register (or other) entered resistant to change.

  Late discovery: the laptop is apparently infected with browser pirate btsearch.name. Search Google throws a series of removal procedures, and I'm now working through them.

• How can I set Up Airport Express with an existing router/modem from the ISP

  I have a wireless modem/router ISP and I want to get the ability to use Air Print using a non-Airprint but the USB printer. I suggest you to connect the printer to the Airport Express A1392 Epson) via a USB port to enable the AirPrint features.  However, I guess the Airport Express must be an ethernet to the modem/router ISP connection and then use the Epxress airport more convenient than my wireless router.

  1. do I need to turn off the function the ISP router's wireless when I plugged as stated above? So I wait.

  2. as the Airport Express only has one ethernet port I assume that I can connect my other ethernet connections using a hub 4 ports connected to the Airport Express Terminal.  It will be always possible to use other ports ethernet on the modem/router ISP as well?

  You may have received incorrect information, because a non-AirPrint on the USB port on an AirPort Express Terminal... or any other router from Apple also printer... do not make the AirPrint-compatible printer.

  The AirPort Express can connect to the network wireless router using a wireless connection... or... it can connect to one of the router's Ethernet ports using a wired Ethernet connection.

  Wired connections are always preferable wireless if possible for your Express.  Turn off the wireless router is not necessary if you want to connect to the Express using an Ethernet connection.

  If the ISP router is your main router, then the time Capsule would establish to a network bridge by selecting the join an existing network in the Airport utility. If the ISP router is a distinct feature of the cable modem, then remove it and use only the time Capsule as the router.

  However, service provider Internet also provides you with courier owners services, like comcast will be.    These emails will have your name or handle @ .com (name of the Internet service provider)

  When you switch from one ISP to another, you may lose access to the main email account that they you provided as a customer.  If you have email messages on the server of your isp, call and ask them if you will still have access to it or you may have a software to transfer your emails on your email account with your new ISP from comcast.

  so that you won't lose your hotmails, you could lose your emails in your main account.

  Yes, I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work. He will continue to work with SLA followed because there is only 1 IP active using the ASA, and the same IP follows the active firewall.

  PPPOE software th whole arrangement never worked well from the first day more than 10 years regardless of the operating system.

  So most serious DSL carriers actually give free Modem/Router so that authentication would be by the side of the router WAN.

  They give it for free for phone support for this problem cost them more than the $10 adds the router to the Modem

  For example, get a router, simple routers in the United States are sold for less than $15.

  Router solved the problem PPPOE provides, security with NAT firewall, and stream DSL is actually faster than with authentication of software.

  I encountered a problem trying to set up a temporary L2L VPN from a Subscriber with CISCO2911 sitting behind the router of the ISP of an ASA. ISP has informed that I can't ignore their device and complete the circuit Internet on the Cisco for a reason, so I'm stuck with it. The Setup is:

  where 10.x.x.x is a corporate LAN Beach private network, y.y.y.y is a public ip address assigned to the external interface of the ASA and the z.z.z.z is the public IP address of the ISP router.

  I have forwarded ports 500, 4500 and ESP on the ISP router for 10.1.17.2. The 2911 config attached below, what I can't understand is what peer IP address to configure on the SAA, because if I use z.z.z.z it will be a cause of incompatibility of identity 2911 identifies himself as 10.1.17.2...

  I bricked just my BEFSR81 v3.0 wired 8-port router 10/100 fast ethernet today because the Web of Linksys site for this router connects to new firmware 13/06/2008 Ver.2.51.4.4 but the name of download file is for the hardware version v3.1 !  Thanks a lot for Linksys to make umpteenth screwup making me break my material.  I really wonder if this is due to incompetence or malevolance?

  I tried the soft reset, hard reset and shorting pins 15 & 16 for mode of security built on the flashrom but no luck.  The router responding to pings to 192.168.1.1 but has all ports closed according to NMap and won't take any additions windows tftp.exe TFTP because it puts error "invalid password." When issuing the '-i 192.168.1.1 tftp.exe firmware.bin "downgrade to firmware 2.51.4.1 previous command.

  I just find the TFTP2.exe utility that takes a password as a parameter and I managed to downgrade my router with success and restore it back to all the features!

• Two Linksys EA6200 at the same time

  Hi all, I bought two routers Linksys EA6200. Before buying, I have read the manual and confirmed that it can act as a wireless (bridge mode) access point. I had no problem setting up one as a router and connect to the internet via the modem from my ISP. Then I tried to set up the other as a wireless access point so that other devices can connect to the internet through it, but it didn't work. The two networks are separated despite having the same SSID configuration.

  This configuration was working with a point of access to another brand and I am surprised that it does not work with this router. What I am doing wrong?
