• HELP linksys wireless USB adapter: (model # WUSB54GC) "acquiring network address" not actually connect to the internet! ?? Windows xp pro

  Hello. Ive been at this for 4 days now, I can't find a solution. I'll try to remember as much as possible regarding what ive tried.

  long story short, due to unfortunate system errors, I have reinstalled my OS XP home to xp pro. PC works great now! problem is... now my wireless adapter wont connect to the internet.

  When I had xp home edition installed, I could just plug in the adapter, and a few seconds, it would connect to the favorite network. (with all settings on Auto) no problem.

  now that ive put in OS, it's just cycling "absorbing the network address" infinitely...

  Sorry it took so long for me to return.

  It was a setting under working group which had to be adjusted from reinstalling windows. (something that has been disabled I forgot, don't remember what it was since its been like 3 weeks)

  First post here and I have a problem. The WRT54G has disabled wirlelss. It is connected to a WAP11B wireless access point that is connected in 802. 11B mode for a laptop, Wii, xbox 360, iPhone. The router is connected to a dsl modem. Three wired ethernet computers are connected. I am running WEP with 128, and I changed the SSID to something other than linksys.

  I would like to change to use the WRT54G as a Wi - Fi enabled connection. Then remove the WAP11B and put a PCMCIA 802.11 g in the laptop and connect the xbox360 with a microsoft xbox 360 Wireless gaming adapter should connect to 802.11 g.

  The problem is that the xbox 360 displays a message indicating that there are duplicate using my SSID networks. Y at - it a upgrade to 802.11 g without getting this error on the xbox 360? Let me know if you have any questions I can answer to explain the problem more clearly.

  I recently got a laptop HD malfunction cause me to start my PC from 2004. I bought a Belkin N150 Wireless USB adapter to connect to the internet connectivity. During the installation, I do not get a "Wireless network connection" icon I am running Windows XP SP3. I installed the same USB adapter on a computer running Windows XP SP2 and it works fine. I plugged it in my desktop PC and it just doesn't work! Even with my router disconnected I should still be able to see other networks WiFi available in the range (I live in a community of apartment) as he worked on the other computer it elsewhere too. I double checked the drivers, reboot the cable modem, so that appropriate services were activated and still no dice. I have read forums and I'm almost at the point of paying MS for technical support services, but it's really just my last step before I shell out money for professional help. Notice to lovers? =)

  I have a home set wireless network in place, which may not have a lot of problems with it that I have a laptop W7 which has a perfect wireless connection, and also our TV connect when you want, as do our phones and Xbox.

  We bought a second hand Acer aspire laptop for our daughter. It is running Vista Edition family Basic.   I'm new in this forum.  I have been using this router for many years.  I have two desktop computers and a laptop computer, the first two connected by cable, wireless laptop.  I got a lcd tv got a (wireless) lan connector and want to access the internet with my TV as well.  The manual of the TV says that he accepts the router mode infrrastructure and no ad-hoc.  According to me, the first time that I have configured the router was punctual and now I want to change to the infrastructure.   I've looked everywhere and many people say to go to set up the wizard provided in the cd of the router but I did and I don't see the option to select the option at all.  Could someone help me to find a way to fix it?  I'd really appreciate it.

• HP Pavilion g6-1d28dx drivers for laptop PC Wireless Network Adapter?

  I'm helping my friend with his HP Pavilion g6-1d28dx Notebook PC, formatted the HARD drive and reinstalled Windows 7 (64-bit). There is, unfortunately, not the CD that came with the laptop for its pilots, we are now able to have a new CD delivered for us, so I used the site to HP support for its Ethernet controller drivers and used a program called Driver Genius 12 for the rest because for some reason, not all the drivers on the support site of work. The only question I have now is that Driver Genius is not correctly install the wireless network adapter and is not the HP support Site. He travels a lot, wireless connectivity is important on this PC. It can connect via its ethernet port, but the wireless adapter cannot see all the networks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I usually google the hardware ID, and then go to the support page and pilot of the model for pilots.
