  My iPhone 5 exploded randomly while I was listening to music, about 2 weeks back. Don't turn on since.

  In January I spilled the iced coffee at the hinge of my 2012 MacBookPro. I immediately turned upside down and tried to wipe off iced coffee as well and comes off my MacBook as possible. I thought that it worked because my macbook was not turn off or do anything funny - in fact, he was always in charge and I continued to watch Netflix. However, about 5 minutes later, my macbook suddenly stopped charging and he died. Shortly after the incident, I took my macbook to the Apple local store. They said that iced coffee has been the "brain" of my computer, he had "done for", and that I should just buy a new one on the spot.   If it works only when it is connected to the charger and is slow indicate that the battery is dead or disconnected.  A Mac that does not detect a battery of operation will be throttle the CPU.  Check the battery and see if it is working.  Maybe that's the problem.

  When a Mac is baptized, the first thing that must be done is to turn it off.  If it goes out, it's a very, very bad sign and indicates that there has been a short circuit and part of the Mac has been fried.  I do not hold much hope for your MBP.

  To be honest liquid damage is the worst thing that can happen. Water damage are really bad and in most cases, nothing can be done and the motherboard should be replaced.

  You are right that the water damage is not covered by warranty. If you have Apple Care Plus, then it is covered as one of your accidental franchisees. If you don't have Apple Care Plus, then it would be a one off replacement under warranty. Depending on your location for the cost, it's the cost in the U.S., $329.   Thus, as stupid as it sounds, I bought an iPhone 5 s water damaged. I knew what I was getting into until I bought the phone.

  I learned that the battery was not to keep a charge so I had to replace the battery. However, this has not resolved the issue.

  The battery works now twice longer in case of actual use, now I had replaced it but in standby mode, it runs at a fast pace. I disabled all the parameters that I thought that it would cause, but it's always the same.

  My question is this; There must be a hardware failure, but I'm not sure what it would be, guys do you have ideas? Thank you!

  I have a relatively new MacBook Pro retina 15 running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5.  I also have a Magic keyboard paired with the MacBook I use then in office.  For some reason I can't understand until now, special keys printed on the function keys (F1 to F12) not all work.  In fact, the only ones that work are the F3 key to show all open applications and press F4 to show Launchpad.  Keys (play/pause) F8 or F10 - F12 (volume mute/up/down) all do not work and I got a single each tone, but nothing happens.  I also tried to hold down the Fn key with no luck.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  Is your new version of Magic Keyboard keyboard 2.   If this is the case, it may not fully work with Yosemite and you must upgrade to El Capitan 10.11.6.    If it is an old type keyboard bought before October of last year, while the problem might defile, a liquid damage or local interference.
