  Why do you think that should Toshiba offer drivers that they are not needed?

  To be honest, I can't tell what drivers are missing because the screenshots are not in the English language.

  In your case I would visit the Toshiba driver download site. Download and install each driver and tool that you can find for your laptop model. It's really important. Otherwise, things will not work properly. They do not slow laptop because they are needed.

• Missing chipset drivers for Satellite A300-22Z

  Tried to install windows XP on my A300-22Z but has failed to do this since the custom of installing even start.

  Ive heard, installation is not some ICH6-7-8 drivers for the chipset so he can't go ahead and they must be integrated into the windows setup (winXPsp2) manually.

  You didn t even start installing the drivers. Following your list, it may be that you have installed the driver chipset only. Try to install all the stuff in this order:

  Chipset utility
  Storage Manager
  Graphic driver
  Audio driver
  Driver modem
  LAN driver
  WLAN driver
  Card reader controller
  Driver webcam
  Touchpad driver
  And so on...

  Continue to install the utilities and tools of Toshiba.

  Alternatively, you can use the drivers released for other series laptop because in most cases, the devices are identical, and the driver must be compatible.

  I put t know what series it is, but you can check at the bottom of the unit.
  There must be a model number; something with the PA.

  One of my friends has this laptop model (or another name: PSAA8E) and need to reinstall the operating system. The problem is that it doesn't have the drivers and I can't do them anywhere.

  Theoretically yes, but what you can do is check the battery on the battery part number and use Google to find an online store where you can order. I recommend buying the original Toshiba Toshiba logo on it battery.

  A little history: I recently bought a version of Win7 to a Z930 in Auckland from PB Tech shop. I've updated to a clean version of Win8 64-bit. My Win8 seems works ok but I noticed something strange in the Toshiba PC Health Monitor - apparently the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert is not installed, so I don't understand not his iconic display in the health monitor (but the health monitor think my SSD is in "Good" shape - maybe it's reading the INTELLIGENT of my SSD interface, or maybe it's just saying 'Good' because the integrity monitor is apparently able to operate?)

  I can easily find different versions of the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert Utility in questionable Web sites - download, but I really prefer to get my Toshiba support drivers. Which leads to my question:
