  You can disable polling for a particular system (for example the second system used for the API) by creating the registry key on your server:

  [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EMC\Ionix Service Manager\System2]

• Problems with labview on TestStand deployment system (usually run without a license of labview)

  I'm trying to deploy a system using testStand for a machine of deployment for the 1st time. I built my Installer and image etc files The files of the installation on the target however machine when I try to run my program in mode operator TestStand I get errors relating to Labview. The only way I can work around this error is to activate a Labview license on the deployment computer, is not viable.

  The error I see when I turn off my Labview license simply indicates that an error has occurred accessing the Labview ActiveX automation server.

  I have included engines of execution etc. in my Installer. As this is my first build is there something obvious I've missed here?

  My first guess is that the setting of the LV adapter on the deployment computer is always set to "LabVIEW development environment". You must change this to "runtime".

• Cannot read txt file correctly on the cRIO RT after deployment system

  As shown in attachment VI works fine on my system cRIO9073 during execution of the Project Explorer and press the arrow. But unfortunately it no longer works when it is deployed (having a build). This VI is part of a larger project, but I was able to trace the issue to this VI, where something goes wrong with the reading of the text file. I now use the case of fake (not shown), where I have temporary added the txt file content in a string constant. Of course, it's a good solution, but not flexible.

  Anyone have an idea what's not here?

  I use NEITHER-RIO 3.1.0 - January 2009 version as the version of the software on the cRIO system.

  I don't know that you still have this issue, but I think that you cannot use this property (axis type) node in your cRIO. If please remove it and try again to see what would be the influence.

  When researching other forums via Google, I found this in 'My Digital Life '.  It solved my problem so I post here to help people who may have tried all the "fix - its" that did not work!

  "The error occurs because the Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider service is stopped or disabled. The Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider Service manages shadow copies of volume based on software taken by the Volume Shadow Copy service. If this service is stopped, shadow copies of volume based on software cannot be managed. If this service is disabled, as when you manually disable the snapshot, all services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start. "

  The Shadow Copy Provider MS and the shadow copy of Volume must be enabled.  With my problem I'm not far enough to allow the Shadow Copy Provider MS.  When I did, it has allowed me to create a restore point.

  And see if you can make the recovery disks:

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

  See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

  Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

  Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

  Also ask them if it is possible to do recovery disk/s of the Partition(if you have one) recovery in case of System Crash or hard drive failure.

  They will tell you how to do this.

• Application without closing the deployment system

  I have a little problem with some of my executable files I want to run on a PXI system.

  They work very well, so far, no mistake, but as soon as I close the executable by program or by clicking on the 'x', the cover closes, but the task seems to be "not responding".

  However, I can close the Application via the Task Manager.

  I do not open all the references, I just communicate with a PXI device to read the temperature and close the connection later.

  This is the error, but it does not help me much (ATTENTION GERMAN )

  

  Found my mistake, the base of VISA for my PXI card driver was too old, or not suitable for Win7.

  Everything works after I updated.

  BTW, it was for a Pickering switch card, using their Pipx40 driver.
